Around 2013, the official composition was: Living Tuberose, bergamot, black currant and green notes (top); Muguet, jasmine absolute of Egypt, ylang-ylang, orris root, osmanthus, violet, rose and Living gardenia (body); sandalwood, cedar, amber, musk and moss (base). Currently, according to the company, the fragrance features a bouquet of white flowers, lily of the valley, Egyptian jasmine, violet, and iris (at the exit). Then, the body brings green and fruity notes, which rest on a base with notes of musk, vanilla, black pepper, and noble woods accord. What can we understand with these changes? First, there was a change between the head and heart layers of the fragrance, bringing a more immediate floral impact. The green nuances went down in order to balance. And the base gained creamier facets, with the arrival of the vanilla and the exit of the moss (probably, the greater reason of the reformulation, according to IFRA impositions). In addition, the perception of the fragrance changes. It is not difficult to find users of the first lots comparing Jasmin d'Egypte to the famous Poison (Dior). Likewise, there are those who do not see any similarity, precisely because there seem to be two different versions scattered in the market. Jasmin d'Egypte is more than a beautiful perfume worked on jasmine. It is a floral with a pretty sweet facet, directly related to the smell of ylang-ylang, which is no longer described but must be in that floral bouquet, at the top of the olfactory pyramid. I do not feel the green notes so present, but you can notice a discreet acidity, along with a fruity facet that reminds me of the smell of bananas. The projection is not aggressive, but it has very good lasting. And although it is not common for me to draw comparisons, I am obliged to say that Jasmin d'Egypte seems to be a lighter combination of Amarige (Givenchy) with a Brazilian version of Poême (Lancôme). At least it's like that on my skin. The women (or men) who identify with these fragrances mentioned above, will enjoy Jasmin d'Egypte, which can be worn without parsimony and still has an excellent cost-benefit relationship, not to mention the refill. In my opinion, it is guaranteed satisfaction!

I'm so happy this was added to the database. If you are ever in Brazil, give this one a try. You get a fairly priced 300ml bottle, so you can splurge on this one all you want. It's got great lasting power and good projection, but it's very light and airy, fresh and oh so creamy, but some powdery and woodiness in the background as well. This is a white floral done with such a delicate touch. I like to wear this one on warm days, before sleep or anytime I just want to smell of comfort. I wear this indoors, outdoors, day or evening...it's very versatile.

Tuberose, Green Notes, Bergamot, and Black Currant are the top notes; Egyptian Jasmine, Gardenia, Ylang-Ylang, Lily-of-the-Valley, Iris, Violet, Rose, and Osmanthus are the middle notes; and Sandalwood, Musk, Cedar, Amber, and Oakmoss are the base notes. This white flower is executed with such finesse. It is quite adaptable. It is a floral with a lovely sweet side that is sure to satisfy!

I gave it to my mother as a gift, without any commitment, I usually give sporadically to the people I love with fragrances, those who are "close" well know that! I must say that I am regretting giving the gift. I'll explain. My mother simply enters the bottle of Jasmin D`Egypte every afternoon and swims inside it, and keeps exhaling until lunchtime the next day. The bottle is very beautiful, heavy glass, giant and deserves to be customized after use, certainly. Citrus Jasmine, half hair in the wind, with touches of Tuberosas fields and more white flowers that emanate an innocent and at the same time manor air over every movement performed. It kind of sublime the feeling, but you need to have thrift if it will kill the children and the elderly around (my mother's case). Then he gets a little touch of makeup, heavy and oily-looking, then he gains a footprint from Musk that makes him somewhat sensual without any naughtyness, just notoriously feminine mannerisms! Guys, beware of Jasmin D`Egypte, he in regular doses becomes a very divine white floral to be, however, if you drink, as my mother does, it's a nuclear tragedy for sure. Have a good time!
