Lotus da Tailandia

Inspired by Thailand, with its temples and palaces filled with beautiful lotus flowers that adorn their gardens, the Mahogany company released this fruity-floral fragrance, which fits very well with our tropical climate. The fragrance features notes of star fruit, pear, and pineapple, on the output; Jasmine, peach, and white Orchid, in the heart; while the base combines sandalwood, musk, and vanilla. When touching the skin, the result is like the smell of bubble gum, those with bittersweet flavor, and quite fruity nuances. It's an innocent and sweet type of smell, those who don't bother and not sicken the most sensitive people around. So, about 30 minutes after its application, the floral heart begins to emerge and, although I haven't felt anything of jasmine, the peach and the orchid are very present. I think they missed a detail that would make all the difference in this part of evolution: notes of the lotus flower, to make the concept even more consistent. Then, hours after applied, the fruity tone becomes calmer and both vanilla and musk come with a lot of sensuality. I really liked it and I dare say that it can be worn also by teenagers, who love to steal the perfumes of their mothers. Lótus da Tailândia has very good projection and lasting power. But I sincerely hope that the brand starts elaborating a more modern bottle because it is known that one of the items of greatest appeal to the perfume lovers, is still the beauty of their bottles. And here, it seems that we stopped in the ’80s. At least, the paint of the box is beautiful, bringing one of the works of the artist called Simone Campos.
