Sport R

Sport R was launched in 2014, in the same year that Mahogany brand also launched Sport Very Black. At the time, both fragrances came in a longer bottle, containing slotted lids. Later, they underwent visual changes and began to be sold in the curved finishing bottles of the company. Sport R brings as a concept, the approach to the man of winner spirit and is classified as a woody-spicy fragrance. According to the company, it has notes of apple, cardamom, and bergamot, on the output; Plum, jasmine, cinnamon and teak wood, in the body; Vanilla, musk, cedar and amber, in the base. Unfortunately, Sport R suffers from the same problem I reported in Frangipani Flower's review, because the communication of the bottle, of the name, and its concept do not represent what the fragrance delivers to the consumer. Sport R is far from being a sports cologne. Its warm nuances are more focused on the concept of seduction than on sport or adventure. On the skin, the notes of apple and cardamom start paving the way for the rest. Almost instantaneously, jasmine and cinnamon come together, like a sensual wax, in which the plum appears to have been greased. As far as evolution goes, everything looks well rehearsed: color, storyline and closure, with a vanilla that is not extremely sweet, or uncomfortable, and a nice touch of amber, making everything hotter and sexier. If you liked what you read so far, you may want to know an important information: Sport R is very similar to the famous Ferrari Black, which came to be called Scuderia Ferrari Black with the restructuring of the fragrance division of the brand. Perhaps for this reason, Mahogany has thought of the sporting appeal, when decided to name this product. Speaking of the fragrance, I am obliged to agree that Mahogany brand knows how to masterfully create perfumes filled with inspiration on some of the most famous international - and this is no secret to anyone. The results are often surprising and that is why it has loyal customers, because they trust in the provenance and safety of the raw materials used. Sport R is not a bomb in terms of projection, but it has a good duration. It is a great option for those who like that other cologne from Ferrari, but want to pay less and find the same (or even higher) quality.
