Alive Now

Here after the initial first spray, blind buying a 30 ml bottle. No maceration. The first few minutes, the fragrance comes off as astringent (as one of the comments below), an acidic litchi and tarty raspberry, but I can also smell the sweetness underneath, which I feel will come out to play more later. I can also smell something green (I take it it's the violet leaf). Interesting fact! I left my room where I was when I applied it. I entered again and could smell a very nice raspberry in the air :O After some hours, the tanginess has left and I can smell mostly a musky rose and mild raspberry. EDIT: First time I tried it, it became a rose scent more than a raspberry scent. Now It's girly, feminine, soft and elegant. Now , after around a month of maceration, the raspberry has become more potent, so does the litchi, but I think the raspberry is more prominent. Personally, I 'd wear it daily in the spring, or even on a very hot and humid summer day. Longevity is amazing!

I loved the initial fruity burst that opens here, I was super excited about it. Alas, almost immediately something else came through...MUSK. Why do they frickin' put musk in everything?! Musk and patchouli. I STG, most frags don't need this! So now it's just meh to me. UPDATE: Ok, I am updating my original review to love! Maybe 1 to 2 hours after I wrote the review I randomly smelled my wrists and could not sent the musk at all! It was just a sweet fruitiness with some florals in there and I really am enjoying it now. It does not leave a scent trail on me so it's very much a skin scent very quickly but it is lovely!

No clue how similar to Angel Nova, but for sure the vibes are there, though I would say this one is more raspberry-ish? If you like raspberry perfumes, GET THIS! Or fruity sweet ones. It's good, I wanted to sell it at first but sometimes I really wanna smell like berries, Lychee and some flowers and it hits the spot. And the price is low too, so it's a easy grab :)

I love love this perfume!!! I love lychee so much but this one is like a more mature version of CH Very good girl. But it has the same lychee dna. It does last like around 7 hours so it's pretty good. Longer then CH VGG so thats good.

This is a sweet lychee tartiness that isn’t cloying! One of my first arab perfumes that I looooooooove! So sweet that I attracted insects when I wore this. 😂 Gets me compliments all the time.

I think this one to me is one of the best fragrances of Maison Alhambra. Very much similar to Mugler Angel Nova, but stronger and way more affordable.

Fresh raspberry, rose and lychee. It's in the same vein as Jimmy Choo Blossom, however Alive Now is much stronger, sweeter and the raspberry note is at the forefront . This fragrance projects heavily so go easy on the trigger.

Hasn't macerated yet, so we'll see how that goes, but this is a bit sharper and more astringent(?) at the start than the original Angel Nova. I'll check back in after a couple weeks and see if the bitterness goes away.

A lovely perfume that's sweet and sour but not too girly. However, I'm not happy with this or any other Arabic perfume because for some reason they all have a faint oud scent. It would be great if it wasn't oud.

am sorry but even after several months it smells like artificial lychee aroma, sugar, and tons of ambroxan. loud and childish though.

Levei um susto pq senti o cheiro logo da lichia, achei um pouco seco e ardido na minha opinião. A fixação é de umas 4 horas na minha pele. Tenho ele acho que já faz 1 ano e o cheiro continua o mesmo lichia pura. Mas com umas 2 horas ele fica mais leve.

It’s like 95% similar to Angel nova and quite long lasting too. Amazing for the price.
