I have tested it in a perfume store, This fragrance in the dry down is an exact dupe of "Goddess Burberry" perfume, creamy vanilla scent, comparing it with "Angham Lattafa" it's more cozy creamy fragrance, but "Angham Lattafa" seems a light version or smoother version from "Goddess Burberry" perfume, hence, I think beacause vanilla dominates here like "Goddess Burberry" perfume exactly, but in "Angham Lattafa" Praline and Cacao dominates with vanilla in the dry down which is make it more sugary not creamy vanilla scent. Althought the other ingrediants here different than "Goddess Burberry", but the dry down is same. white flowers here make the scent is very cozy. For my own taste, I advise any one searching on alternative or a dupe scent of "Goddess Burberry", to choose this perfume, I prefer it more than "Angham Lattafa". Synthetic fragrance here is unnoticeable, In General, I advise anyone going to buy any of "Maison Alhambra" perfumes to macerate it from 2 - 3 mothes then start to use it, beacause the maceration make the pefrume ingrediants to be harmonizes together. If you didn't smell this perfume before, I advise that you can blind buy if you interest the gourmand fragrances. sweety notes here not a cause for headache for you. Also Vanilla here is very suitable for women who are looking for a delicious creamy vanilla fragrance tends to be more balanced dry down rather being intense. It's been over a year and, yes, I have decided that this is one of my absolute favorites.I'm glad I bought a backup & that it has been macerating for many months now. This is so juicy smelling that I can't help but love it. I think it may be my new signature (I am fickly tho!). Anytime I wear this anywhere, I get complimented. I have learned that it is fine solo but that it layers really well with Nagham (the oil) from Khadlaj. Another update, ppl (last one. promise) this is a perfume that never stops getting better. Not only has it gotten more rich in scent, but it is gaining longevity. If it's like that at 23 days... I'm thinking of getting a backup bottle let rest for months while I use this one. I layered this one once with Creamy Biscuit and oh, my WORD! Divone. Updating much sooner than I thought. This is now absolutely glorious. The citrus and florals showed up and, wow. That changed everything. It's still soft, but in a good way. There is a quiet sugary note in the dry down. Normally I despise patchouli but I'm almost sure that it's what is pulling this fragrance together so beautifully. This is now one of those scents that I find myself taking sniffs of my wrist just to enjoy it. Granted, it's been less than a week with this one so I will update when it's had time to learn its manners. For now, I find this to be the weakest of any Lattafa/M.A. scent I own (and I have a LOT). I wasnt impressed with anything about this at first spray, because the scent was so fleeting I didn't catch any notes. A couple of days later, I was at least able to get the gist of Athena: soft, citrus-powder, and wafts of florals. Thank goodness, I got no patchouli. I HATE that note & had I seen it listed, I would have skipped this one. Thankfully, I can tell already that this is going to be like every Lataffa (okay, okay, *Maison Alhambra*) fragrance - it will get better and better with time. If this is better after just a couple of days, I can't wait to sniff again in another week or two. I cannot yet comment on longevity or sillage.

I am not one to jump on the bandwagon of perfumes that are being overtly hyped on social media, so I took my time before buying Athena. Well, well, well, I have nothing but high praises for this gorgeous, sophisticated gem. Firstly, the notes here on Fragrantica are completely wrong which can mislead people into thinking it doesn’t smell like what they anticipated if they blind buy it like I did. It is a perfect blend of light lavender, vanilla and some florals that I can’t name individually but I can tell are adding some depth to this beauty. It starts off bright, aromatic and sweet and quickly fills up the space around you with its aroma with a few spritz. On me, it has this enchanting and alluring aroma that makes me feel beautiful and well put together. At first I thought the sillage was only arm’s length because I can smell it on myself for hours. One day, I sprayed it on my sister who was visiting for Christmas and didn’t pack her stronger perfumes. I has a nasty cold and could barely smell anything but I could smell Athena on her strongly even when she left the room for a long while. I will definitely buy Athena again because it is an elegant, easy to wear perfume that transitions from daytime to nighttime effortlessly. The price is also superb and you will get lots of compliments if it works well with your body chemistry like it does for me. I bought Angham by Lattafa first and I definitely prefer Athena because it suits my personality a lot more. They have similarities but are different in so many ways, so if you have the two, enjoy them both by wearing them together. A 5/5 love for me 💛💛💛💛💛. Leans more feminine but a well groomed, confident man can surely pull this scent off superbly.

This is beautiful. I received a Burberry Goddess gift set and I liked it, I thought it was a nice lavender vanilla scent but I purchased this because of the hype and the fact that it’s sweeter than Burberry Goddess. No ragrets here!! This is stunning and the bottle is to die for. Athena smells really close to Goddess, side by side I can tell them apart because Goddess has a deeper and smoother opening that’s spicier because of the ginger whereas Athena has a rich sweet opening from the fruit with a slight hint of spice from the pepper note. They’re definitely both warm though, there’s no doubt that this is great for colder weather. I wouldn’t exclusively wear either in cold weather but their DNA might be appreciated more during the holidays. I find Athena to have better performance and longevity. Goddess’ opening is fleeting and turns very linear on my skin while Athena opens up and sticks around. Once the opening notes wear off from both, their dry down is so similar I can hardly tell which is which. I don’t see a reason to invest in Angham, having a full bottle and travel spray of Goddess along with this dupe. It’s enough for me with this DNA, but I like the Angham bottle and I’ve heard it’s more lavender driven which piques my curiosity. For now, I’ve been reaching for Athena when I want this type of fragrance. Not just because it’s cheaper but I genuinely prefer it, if it had ginger I’d get rid of Goddess 😅

At long last! The Budget Goddess we deserve is finally here! Burberry Goddess made the world collectively sniff the air and say, "Wait... this smells expensive!" And, of course, it is expensive. Even more expensive than Burberry's other very reasonably priced fragrances. Enter Athena, the fragrance equivalent of a perfect dupe that laughs in the face of designer markups. Athena doesn't just resemble Burberry Goddess, it outright impersonates it. If Burberry Goddess were a high-society heiress, Athena would be her long-lost twin, separated at birth. The creamy vanilla, the lush lavender, the subtle yet cosy tonka, it’s all here, just without the hefty price tag. And while we’re at it, let’s pour one out for Lattafa Angham, the fragrance that could have been a contender... if only it weren’t impossible to find in the EU without paying an arm and a leg. At this point, Angham is more myth than perfume - a tantalizing whisper on the wind, forever out of reach. Which is soooo weird with Lattafa also owning Maison Alhambra... Final verdict: Why pay for a goddess when you can get Athena at a mortal-friendly price?

reviewing this fresh from the box, but i'll update as needed. immediately, i like this better than i liked burberry goddess, which didn't stand out to me. i haven't smelled goddess in a bit, so my opinion has probably changed, but this was just more memorable to me. it feels like a combination of b&bw's vanilla ease and pink obsessed, plus a hint of al rehab's dalal, and the occasional passing summery accord (almost like banana boat sunscreen, although i only get this sometimes). it's arguably the "prettiest" perfume in my collection, and it was such a steal. the bottle is heavy and feels high-quality, and this is a perfect year-round, day or night scent. my one complaint is the longevity, which as of now, is just moderate on skin, but better on clothes.

This one has single-handedly made my day better. My bottle came in already mature so SHE IS STRONG, one to three spritzes is enough. This fragrance might not be a gourmand but oh boy, does it smell like a lemon cake but without that sugar-rush backgrounds of the gourmands. It is everything I thought Devotion by D&G was going to be (I know, my expectations are a bit weird). She is sophisticated, fresh, not cloying at all. I don't feel the pink pepper as much (which usually gives me headaches) and it makes me feel happy! It smells like a nice, deep vanilla. It has a bit of a metallic quality to it (it must be the lavender) but it is not annoying at all and, and.. You know what? You, the one reading this, just get Athena lol You will not regret it.

received mine today. burberry goddess is my fav designer fragrance, and i can say that i love this as much as goddess. i think the hate for this fragrance comes from the reality that it doesn't smell IDENTICAL to burberry goddess, but that does not mean it isn't absolutely divine. i get a tangerine fruitiness in the opening but that shortly disappears. the green notes are also very prominent in the opening (which i think is beautiful) but settle down as it dries down. once you get the dry down, and i'm not sure if i'm speaking prematurely here as i haven't smelled the intense a bunch, it sits somewhere between burberry goddess and burberry goddess intense. maybe 80% similar to the original, i would say. so versatile, so signature worthy.

Glad this beauty finally made it onto this site but the notes listed above are incorrect. Here are the actual notes: TOP: Mate, Cypress, Thyme, Green, Saffron, Fruit HEART: Jasmine, Orris, Rose BASE: Amber, Leather, Vanilla, Musk, Vetiver, Cedar There’s no if, ands, or buts about it; this is 100% a dupe of Burberry Goddess and dare I say it but somewhat slightly better than BG. I love the Yerba mate/green notes in this as it lends to a more fresher brighter vanilla in the dry down. And the scent only gets stronger and better with age. To my nose, this is the best and closest BG dupe; Angham while nice is sweeter and loses some of the complexity that the green notes bring to the profile. All in all; it’s an 11/10 for me.

This is my favorite of the 'burberry goodness' dna. I can see the comparisons, but I can also understand the people that didn't like goddess, yet they enjoy this. I liked both. But this is THE best. Better than angham. Angham still carries the heavy lavender, which is disagreeable to some. I enjoy lavender, but I find I just enjoy this kind of dna without it. It comes off much more smoothe & versatile. I went through a whole bottle of Athena within months, hoping it wouldn't go viral & then it did lol. But I'd recommend this even over the original. Longevity is fantastic, and it's just overall a great fragrance. If it were packaged in a designer bottle, I honestly don't think I'd know the difference.

Just received a bottle of Athena from an eBay seller. IMHO, this scent is amazing! I also have a bottle of Lattafa's Angham - similar DNA - but I think I prefer Athena. It's yet another clone/dupe for BG, so right off the bat, the name Athena fits! It has the similar fruity-citrusy-vanilla-floral, but it seems to have a more balsamic, herbal, "green" note that Angham doesn't possess. Sillage and longevity are great right off the bat, but like many modern fragrances, fades out of existence in an hour or 2, becoming another skin scent. Still smells great on the tester paper, but on my skin, not so much. Still, quite pleased with this one, I know I'll be wearing it a lot. A very pretty anytime scent!

I just bought a second bottle!! I've been on a year long journey to find my signature scent and after lots of trial and error and decluttering, finally settled on the beautiful Athena. She really is a Goddess(better than OG imo)that has stolen my heart. My most recent try outs were Angham and Khair Pistachio. Both were amazing perfumes(especially Khair Pistachio!!!❤️), but none of them gave me the experience i had with Athena, with her bright, beautiful opening, and sweet, comforting dry down that my toddler loves to nuzzle his face in on my neck. This is my scent and it rocks that its only $25 on Amazon! I also don't stop getting compliments when I wear her❤️ Longevity and smell are divine!

After trying Angham and really falling in love with it, I knew I had to find something more wearable for the summertime with the same scent profile Firstly, I have to say the bottle was stunning! Okay, so Athena upon first sniff this comes off more floral than Angham does and a lot more brighter The vanilla in Athena is a lot more toned down and I would say very nicely balanced with the florals and vanilla with it not being too overpowering I think Athena is the winner I can’t really speak on longevity because I have only just got this in today I will be making a full updated for a review in a few weeks, but I think I like this a lot more than Angham

If I could only wear one fragrance for the rest of my life, this would be one of the top contenders. I don't generally gravitate towards vanilla-based fragrances, but this is one of the most well-blended vanillas I have ever smelt. When sprayed lightly, each supporting note is so subtle and compliments each other that instead of smelling wood, pepper, citrus, and floral notes individually, I get a kind of warm and tangy, soft, fresh, and unified vanilla that doesn't feel overwhelming in any particular direction. It feels appropriate for just about any situation and would only become offensive if heavily oversprayed. Best $20 I ever spent.

I haven’t smelled the OG “Burberry Goddess” that others are saying this is inspired by but Maison Alahambra’s “Athena” definitely has the Burberry DNA yumminess, femininity, easy to wear, and familiar yet can’t quite put your finger on why. However, when I first opened this fragrance and sprayed it on a tester I was disappointed. I thought sigh, this blind buy might have been a mistake ... but I refused to give up that easily and wore it today. All I can say is Love ! I adore the warmth and sweetness balanced with the spicy pepper. So delicious. It’s like a soft flannel shirt under a designer catwalk worthy jacket. A blind buy SUCCESS ❣️

just got mine today and honestly it smells SUPER DUPER similar to goddess,, the lavender isn’t too strong in this but it’s still noticeable. honestly if u put this into a burberry goddess bottle and told me that it was the real thing, i’d believe it no doubt! also something to keep in mind, i feel angham has a more rich stronger vanilla than both goddess and athena, they’re still similar but if you’re looking for an almost identical dupe of burberry, i’d recommend athena! since i just got this today, i cant really say much on sillage, longevity yet since i still need to let it macerate but i will edit this review soon <3

Athena does not smell like Libre --- Libre is a clean/soapy smelling lavender and Athena (which actually does not contain any lavender --- the notes listed here are wrong) is a sweet, aromatic vanilla scent very similar to Burberry Goddess. It is one of my favorite scents and it layers with other perfumes really nicely. Top Notes: Yerba Mate, Cypress, Thyme, Green Notes, Saffron, and Fruity Notes Middle Notes: Jasmine, Iris, and Rose Base Notes: Vanilla, Amber, Leather, Musk, Vetiver, and Cedarwood @valbona.bergman --- if you are looking for a Maison Alhambra dupe for Libre, that would be Leonie.

I have both this and Angham. As far as longevity, now that I’ve have my Angham about 5 months, it blows this out of the water. I can spray Angham and it will last all day and I’m complimented constantly. This smells similar but I get more tangerine and it’s a little lighter and brighter than Angham. I don’t think they’re different enough to NEED both, and the price point for Athena is amazing so I don’t mind overspraying or touching up, but when I’m out of both bottles, Angham is probably the one I’m rebuying - I prefer the depth of the vanilla in that one and the sillage is just better for me.

This is by far the best dupe of goddess. Angham was actually vile. spicy ginger alcohol water. 0 depth or sweetness. This shares the same richness, sensuality and depth that goddess has and is about 90% there (to my nose) which is more than what you can ask for of a dupe as cheap as this one is. After being deceived by the good angham reviews, I thought this would be a disappointment also but I was shocked that it is a gorgeous scent. So so happy and well worth the money. Edit: after wearing this I have realized the longevity is just terrible :( Less than an hour and it's gone...

I’ve had this one for several months and I love it. It’s definitely a Burberry goddess dupe, and a good one at that. I got this before Angham blew up, and in some ways it’s almost a closer dupe than angham, purely as that one is a touch sweeter than the OG (but all the more beautiful for it), whereas this is pretty much like for like. Soft pretty vanilla, definitely a little lavender despite it not being listed here, a subtle touch of spice. Really lovely. Performance is moderate, Angham lasts longer, but this one is generally cheaper. It’s a firm favourite of mine.

I’ve been waiting for this to be added to the site! This is a firm favorite of mine, I’ve went though 1 bottle already on to my second with a back up aging in my closet as we speak. It gives moderate performance at first but about 3 months in it gets even better and the longevity hits 8 hours, you will smell this on you and everyone around you will for about 4-5 hours then it becomes intimate. I love this perfume the performance alone makes it a winner, but I consider it a beautiful dupe of goddess with a spoonful more of sugar.

Hands down THE BEST $20 I've spent and a bullseye blind buy for me. I can't compare to BG because the first time I smelled it I hated it (I believe I had nose fatigue from smelling everything in Ulta). The second time I smelled it I really liked it. I found Athena online and read that it's a great affordable dupe. Because I can't trust my nose memory I will leave the comparisons to others with more sophisticated noses. But this one is complex and interesting to me and a lovely day fragrance for this vanilla lover.

I'm currently on my third bottle coz I love it that much. And the price point? Yes! This is easily my everyday scent, you know when I want to smell good but also don't want to look like I'm trying to hard? This is it! Quick groceries run, going to bed working from home, going for a walk, this is basically it. I get so many compliments when wearing this. Lastly for someone who has both this and Angham? I think this is being overused because it's cheaper lol as a gourmand lover girl... I'm over impressed.

This is Burberry Goddess but better! It's honestly shocking how good this is and how spot on it is. It's so close to the original that I almost can't tell them apart, except that the OG is a tiny bit spicier. It gives off a little more ginger, but Athena is slightly creamier. It's so lovely and the longevity is amazing! If you're on the fence, just get it. You will not be sorry. The price is incredible for something that's so close and is also so strong and long lasting. It's a love!

I got this in the fall of 2024 and had no idea the notes were not just lavender, vanilla and citrus. Found out it had been added just last night and let me tell you I am shocked but also it all makes so much sense now. Athena is by far one of my favorite perfumes I own... it has a strong spicy floral and a rich vanilla base. It lasts for about 6-8 hours on skin and longer on clothes. It is the best vanilla floral I own, and I will definitely repurchase when I am out.

I believe the stated notes are incorrect but I am on my 2nd bottle (soon to purchase a 3rd!!). I absolutely LOVE this fragrance. It's an easy reach on the days that I don't want to think about which fragrance to wear. I prefer it to BG and Angham and I always get so many compliments when I wear it. It's light, a year-round scent for sure. I hope they never change the formulation or discontinue it. It's my perfect light and flirty vanilla!!

This is a delightful fragrance. It begins with a bright citrus note that transitions into a lovely jasmine scent. A warm vanilla emerges after about ten to fifteen minutes, creating a delightful aroma reminiscent of freshly baked cookies. The jasmine continues to shine through, adding a beautiful femininity to the fragrance. I have received so many compliments while wearing this gem that I've lost count. I highly recommend it!

I just got my Athena yesterday, and the first smell was very much not needed. I gave her a chance to stand up for herself again. And man, she did! This is the most delicious, creamy vanilla I have ever smelled. I am not a big fan of sugary notes, but this one as sweet as it can be and I do not mind at all. It is the perfect bit of spicy along the way and that is only makes her unique. One of my favorite ones.

Soooo late to this, BUT this is such a lovely fragrance! I originally bought it because the reviewers said that it had less or no lavender! It did need to sit for a bit. The opening still may seem a little bit screechy/cheap smelling, but doesn't last very long. As is dries down from there, it gets better and better. The final dry down is so damn pretty. This is one I love to wear as spring approaches!

Goddess and Lattafa Angham vibes for sure. My teen daughters started off with Lattafa Angham as their primary dupe of B. Goddess. As soon as I bought them a bottle of Athena they fell in love with it. I'm not kidding when I say that I've probable already purchased 8 bottles. Vanilla bomb that last and projects like a beast. Note: Angham and Athena are by the same company under different names though.

Probably the most gorgeous and sophisticated perfume in my collection. Men absolutely love it, it’s one of my most complimented perfumes- which is saying a lot since people usually don’t compliment on scents where I’m from. Amazing for date nights and Fall, but you can wear it all year round. Projects like a beast and lasts all day on me. Overall it’s super sexy and absolutely worth every penny.

I have so many fragrances that I don't have a signature scent. This one has come close. It's my 2nd line fall signature scent. I love it and have have purchased it as a gift for a co-worker. It's amazing and well put together. I just don't wear it the southern states heat during the summer. I will keep her in my collection. It's softer and more feminine than the other middle eastern dupes.

Absolutely worthwhile to have a dupe instead of the original! I have a travel spray or Goddess, and I can barely tell the difference, only in top notes, which, by the way, I prefer Athena’s Yerba mate 🧉 grassy opening. I also just got Angham. They are too similar, except Angham is sweeter and is more suited for evening wear. Both gorgeous, both very affordable.

I just got it as a blind buy and honestly, I ain't mad at it one bit. It's a beautiful scent. I can compare it to the goddess one because I never smelled it before. But this one smells lovely, a very grown diva perfume for me. I ain't sure about the longevity just yet I am hoping it will last on my skin, most perfumes don't but this one a very good one so far.

I just received my bottle. Yes it smells like BG but not exactly, to my nose at least the lavender and ginger aren't noticeable, you're still left with a 'dupe'. Comparing to Angham or BG this one projects more, it's sweeter, creamier perhaps because of the lyang-lyang, but in the air, sillage, aura this is definitely BG I have them all and I'll use them all

Burberry Goddess with the powdery factor turned up a touch higher with stronger florals. It's vanilla, sandalwood, ylang, and jasmine, a bit of a briskier opening thanks to the pink pepper. Lasts all day on skin and clothes, much more suited to warmer weather than its inspiration. It's a great dupe and an equally worthy standalone.

Oh, Athena. Bearing the name of one of my favourite goddesses in mythology, now is my favourite Burberry Goddess dupe. I like Angham a lot yet Athena has something in there that makes me prefer it more, performance aside. Opens with a citrusy scent and becomes a creamy floral vanilla on the dry down. Pretty feminine.

I've already had and sold Angham. It was loud and heavy for me. Athena is a great dupe, in my opinion as closer to the OG as it could possibly get. After the first few minutes it's hard to tell them apart. It's balanced, sophisticated and versatile, appropriate for office wear or a date. I'm glad I gave it a go.

Just came to here to say I prefer Maison Alhambra Athena to Angham. Athena - softer and smoother, a little less sweet, less ginger punch in the face and a little more elegant. Angham - loud ginger/pepper opening that persists throughout wear, super sweet, heavy lavender, and a little louder and stronger overall.

Bright and almost effervescent upon first spray from the citrus and pink pepper. The florals blend in until the dry down where the earthier sandalwood, patchouli and vanilla warm things up. I love this fragrance. Great for almost any type of weather. Very feminine and flirty. Nice for breakfast or a lunch date.

blind bought this perfume and was not disappointed. if ur looking for a goddess dupe this is the one girly. it has more lavender than goddess but its soooo goood. as for longevity, ill wear this to class and still smell it by the time i get home. hate the atomizer but juice is gold

Wow, wasn't expecting much at this price point but I was pleasantly surprised! Similar smell to Burberry Goddess but I find this one has a stronger vanilla tone to it. I love both equally. Pretty bottle, fantastic price and a warm, autumn or nighttime scent 10/10

I love this better than the OG (but not Angham). They took out the harsh lavender. This is softer and brighter than the OG. I love it as a summer vanilla fragrance. Its just a nice sweet bright vanilla. I wear this as my summertime vanilla fragrance.

While I don’t think it’s a 100% dupe, To me this is more of the Goddess DNA than my beloved Agham. This scent is more aromatic. I get alot more lavender, which is not even listed. It’s not my number 1 dupe but a fantastic scent in that DNA family.

To me it smells like pear + pepper + flowers, but i can't pinpoint which flowers :( It reminds me a lot of Born to fly from Oriflame, just less sweet and with a bit of vanilla. I find it suitable for summer or spring, as it's flowery-fruity.

This is a love for me. It's sat for a couple of months and it has gotten so much better. Pretty florals that turn into a soft amber vanilla. I haven't smelled the OG but I really like this one. I got mine for less than $20 on Amazon.

Athena is who she says she is! It starts out fruity, then gradually develops into this floral goodness. The fact that is not a linear scent and you can pick different notes as it develops has my heart. It's a 10/10 in my books.

Reminds me of the Shakira perfume I am Rock! Blind bought it and liked it but there was something missing and it feels like athena has that something. I am rock is an even fresher version of this, maybe I will layer them.
