Chants Tenderina

I came across a YouTube channel run by Ally (hope I'm not mistaken) when I was in one of my low-flow states experiencing some mind wandering without any particular purpose. She was introducing her recent Middle Eastern haul and I felt like her content was engaging in fact. My ears perked up when she held up this perfume and went up to give us details in her dulcet tones. She's got a lovely voice that never tires you. By the way, I bought this after the video and also a couple of other stuff she recommended and wow all of them turned out to be marvelous. Now Chants Tenderina does whatever a good dupe is supposed to do. It's not the carbon copy of Chance Eau Tendre but it gets close enough while delivering quality. Starts off slightly tart and citrusy and then turns into a powdery bouquet of delicate flowers on a soft bed of white musk that is clean but not soapy or shampooy. It's amazing. And the longevity is adorable and I can smell it on me after 7 or 8 hours. It's definitely a crowd pleaser, a compliment magnet and so on. You need to let it sit though. I really love this fragrance. I was expecting a sharp, soapy, freshie but what I got is a beautiful soft, sweet fruity opening and a really lovely airiness of soft, sensual florals. It's quite cold where I am and when I went outside the fragrance surrounded me and I am getting wafts of what I assume is a mix of peach, bergamot, florals and woody notes that smell ethereal and cloud-like. I have not tried Chanel Chance Eau Tendre but if this is what it smells like, no wonder its such a popular fragrance! This is absolutely beautiful. I got it for an excellent price, as well! 🥰 Edit: it has been 5 months, almost to the day, since I posted this review and now that the weather is warmer (90's) I find that this fragrance has blossomed. It is now projecting much better and lasts much longer. I don't know if that is from maceration, or it just performs well in Summer weather. Either way, I paid $13.99 for this fragrance and its very well worth it!!

I can’t help but agree with the majority of reviews here—Maison Alhambra has once again crafted a delightful alternative to a beloved Chanel fragrance, Chance Eau Tendre. The name they chose, Chants Tenderina, conjures the image of little Thumbelina chanting a sweet serenade from atop a lily pad, and just the thought of it makes me smile from ear to ear. This fragrance is the perfect embodiment of that whimsical vision! I adore wearing it after my summer evening showers; it gently lulls me to sleep, carrying me into the most enchanting dreams. I’m not sure how Maison Alhambra weaves such magic from Chanel for this price point, but I’m ever so grateful they do!

Yes, it smells like Eau Tendre, a fragrance I always really liked but not enough to purchase at the Chanel price point (I save my Chanel dollars for my favorite Chanels, which are legion). But when it's hot af outside, as it is now, I'm not necessarily in the mood for one of the baroque florientals--even my beloved sparkly Coco EDT can come off a bit heavy for this humidity), and the hilariously named Chants Tenderina hits that Goldilocks target of refreshing-not-cloying.

This has smelled beautiful on me from the first spritz. Yes, it's nothing special or unusual, and no, the sillage and longevity aren't above average, but at non-Chanel prices you can just reapply liberally! It's a lovely light, feminine scent for spring and summer days, and you can influence the notes a little with e.g. shower gel and deodorant (I go for the peach).

When I first got this, it was identical to the Chanel version. But a year and a half later, it has turned weirdly bitter ,with a old smell now. It was stored properly in the dark. My Chanel version does not smell like this and I've had it for three years. ..I am throwing it out. I cannot believe in a year and a half what this has turned into. smells horrible now.

Whoa! I am completely blown away. This is very much like Chanel.Eau Tendre EDP I own the original perfume by Chanel. although I haven't got them side-by-side yet. I will, but upon first sniff, completely shocked. Very much like the original. Be back once I get them side-by-side. but so far everything seems to lineup even the longactivity is about the same.

This is a great cheapie. smells expensive and very close to Chanel Eau Tendre EDP. .. although it is not a one-to-one dupe. it is very close and extremely cheap. It might last slightly longer than the original. But I mix them together, so I don't have to use up all my Chanel. a very good buy in my opinion.

I have both, and they're different in the drydown. The weird thing is, I don't like the amber in Chanel; it doesn't match the other notes for me. Chants is greener in the drydown, and I like it better; it matches better. Chants stays, Chanel goes.They last the same amount of time on me.

Very fresh, can definately smell the grapefruit blossom and bergamot. The sweetness of the peach is very faint, but its there. Nice floral notes. It feels bright and joyful, ideal for warmer weather. I can see me wearing it on a brunch, picnic date or at the beach. Loved it!

Nose Note #486 As inoffensive and pretty as it gets. Very sparkly and effervescent sweetness. Beautiful peach note. It's simply beautiful. A little sharp, but beautiful. 8/10, easy pink

On me it smells exactly like Chanel Chance eau Tendre but with a much better performance than original Chanel. Sillage is basically the same but Chants last longer.

Incredibly good dup for Chanels eau Tendre edp. The dry down is just a touch different but it's barely noticeable. Super happy to have found this

I like this one... its a very very light fresh floral scent with a very tiny sweetness that doesnt smell cheap and screechy

I enjoy this fragrance. It’s not a “wow” perfume, but it’s fresh, clean, feminine, and easy to wear. It is very light and fresh, never gives me a headache, and I’m quite sensitive to fragrances (I live in a tropical climate). It’s smells like freshly applied body care products, with soft rose and fresh notes. I mostly wear it after a shower, before bed, or around the house when I simply want to smell clean and fresh. That said, it does lack a bit of character. It’s pleasant, but it doesn’t really stand out or leave a lasting impression. I’ve only smelled the original Chance Eau Tendre briefly on a paper in a store, so I can’t make a fair comparison. From what I remember, they are very similar, but I would need to wear the Chanel version on my skin before judging how close they really are. The longevity on clothes is actually quite good. Overall, I think this is a lovely everyday fragrance. It’s not one of my favorites, but it’s certainly not one I dislike either. If the original Chanel smells very similar to this dupe, I probably wouldn’t pay the premium price because I personally find it a little too soft and understated. However, I would definitely consider repurchasing this dupe—it’s a great “clean scent” to reach for when you just want to feel fresh.

I really, really enjoy Chants Tenderina. I’ve never sampled or tested Chance Eau Tendre, but I can definitely discern the “Chanelesque” DNA that Chants strives to replicate. The citruses in Chants are gorgeous, and I wish they stayed longer (I wish the whole fragrance lasted longer). The fruit note in the middle lacks peach “bite” and reads more apple-y than peachy to me. The dry-down is soft, warm and comforting, and, like other reviewers have noted, has a “shampoo-like” quality. Lamentably, Chants only lasts 3-4 hours on me before the soft vanilla-woody base starts to fade away. But I only paid USD $13 for it, so I will be spraying this with abandon once warmer weather arrives. So glad I picked this up after being curious about it for quite a while! Chants is an elegant — if fleeting — fruity-floral cheapie that will have me (and my wallet) smiling this spring!

Just like the real Chanel Tendre. I bought Tendre for xmas 2023 and it was $$$ for little bottle. Soft and floral. Neither the OG or this lasts long. There are many opportunistic sellers right now on this item. Alternatives: Zara's apple juice is very close with a 1/32 tsp more juicy background. Oscar de la Renta White flower bottle is closely good. And Target's finery flower bed is same. On 3/10/2024, Chants was selling for 18.56. On 3/11/2024, it became 19.72, that is a 6% increase from the previous day. On 3/13, it was 19.79. How about 15 ml for 24.99 ? and the 100ml for 34.95? Did inflation go up 6% overnight, price of crude oil, stock market? Unless you must absolutely have this right now, and hey, I am guilty, I know what that is like....wait to get Chants, till dust settles...... and tik tok recovers from this particular "virus".

I sprayed it and the CeT on my elbows and wrists on different sides. It’s not very strong, but neither is the Chanel. I can hardly detect a difference. Maybe this isn’t as soft and well rounded, but it’s hardly noticeable to me. I asked a friend to sniff me and she said she felt a slight difference, the original smelling “better”, but this being really beautiful as well. I feel they’re close enough that I don’t care, and I’ll happily use this instead when my bottle of the original is finished. A perfect easy reach that deserves a try.

This fragrance reminds me so much of Lacoste Pour Femme, however this does not last long - you have to spray more as the day goes along. It is reasonably priced for the 100ml so we can spray away! It has a fresh, alluring feminine scent - it is not over powering and good wear for spring and summer. I will not purchase this again.

Smells like chance by chanel eau Tendre but doesn't last on me maybe 1 hour max. Got it for less then 20 dollars for 100 ml can't complain I use it as my after shower body spray.

I have giving this to a few females in my life as a fun "try this" gift. Everyone I gave it to said they really liked it.

Smells just like Chance eau Tendre. Definitely worth the lower price. So pretty and can be worn everyday and not offend.

I’ve been waiting for this one to mature and it’s been a few months now and not much is changing. It really smells like an inexpensive hair spray to me. I spray out some once a week trying to get some air in the bottle, to move it along because I really want to wear this during this spring. I really just pick up a dry dusty slight floral. I would love for this to develop into something resembling Chance eau Tendre but it’s not there yet! I will say, I have had a couple middle eastern scents that took 6+ months to really develop, so I’ll try to wait a bit longer. I’ll update if anything changes! Update- ten months later- I’m revisiting this and it’s getting a little better. It’s not quite as hairspray like in the opening. It’s a very light, dry floral to my nose. I can’t say I like it any more than when I first tried it, but it has improved. May just not work for me. I have the original Eau Tendre on order so I’ll see if I enjoy that any better on my skin or if the overall scent profile just isn’t for me.

Chants was purchased bc of its comparison to Daisy for my daughter. I got a flash deal, so I got Chants. Plus 2 wonderful Canadian YT ladies told me Chants was fantastic. Going through my fragrances to review, so I pulled from the cold dark closet yesterday. Chants has lived rent free in there since mid July. At the beginning, all I got was cheap powdered laundry detergent from the opening until the dry down. The performance was non existent. I tested several times with the same result. Yesterday there was improvement. The detergent smell wasn’t as itchy and I didn’t smell it throughout. The peach and vanilla have become more pronounced helping to tease a lovely, soft, feminine fragrance. Chants went back & forth between that beautiful florilla & soap. I got teased so bad. In conclusion, Chants goes in hibernation until mid to late Spring. Hopefully Chants emerges ready to show what it has been teasing & the heat will help the performance. 5/10

It has some similarity to Eau Tendre EdT, but it lacks a bit of that softness and powdery-detergent type of quality. It really smells slightly more fruity, reminiscent of apples. Considering the price of Eau Tendre, this is not a bad inspired version for those who can't afford the true version. Longevity is moderate, the same as Eau Tendre. Projection very mild. What I mostly dislike about it is that in the initial phase there is some sort of ashy, dirty undertone. I am not sure why am I the only one getting this, but it cheapens the perfume too.

It's sooo similar to Zara Applejuice that I sold it, as I was already bored of that one. I guess then they're a good dupe for the Chanel? It's fresh smell, not cloying, appleish, fruitish. Something basic, normal, safe blind buy I guess. And a cheapie.

Citrusy fresh, feminine, generic. Good for everyday but nothing special. Weak sillage and longevity. I sold it just because it was a bit boring, not because it was bad.

This smell like a really soapy version of 'Good Chemistry'-Magnolia Violet.

Creamy floral nothing special.

Edit: 4 weeks later. I let this sit in the back of the closet for 4 weeks and it has done SOMETHING. I do still feel that this won’t be a popular grab for me, though. Oddly enough I like this because it is nostalgic for me. This reminds me of a slightly toned down version of the 2006/2007 Aeropostale butterfly charm perfume. That was the first actual perfume I ever owned in middle school, and I adored it. This misses a bit of the spice, but the DNA is verrrrry close. My youngest daughter adds a spritz to her wrist before school everyday and adores it the way I did at that age, so this will be gifted to her. Overall, I do think it’s worth the money and I recommend purchasing it if you like the department store citrus floral vibe. It’s not a bad thing at all, it’s cute, shampooey, safe, and affordable. Sillage is not loud, but noticeable. Longevity is not great, but great for the price- you may need to reapply after the 3 hour mark. Moisturizing and applying a musk perfume oil before applying amps this up tremendously. First impression: Dang, I wish I liked this :( I nosed the OG in macys many years ago, and remember loving the fresh fruity profile it delivered- but opted for another fragrance instead. I was much younger, and wanted something that showed up before I did. That being said, I DID like the OG. This is not that. I can’t put my finger on what it is, but for lack of a better way to describe this.. it smells like you get what you pay for. I own Delilah and one other MA fragrance and was largely impressed by the quality, so this one was a bit of a let down. I am learning that middle eastern dupes are VERY hit or miss, and this one was a miss. It reminds me of the girls in high school that doused themselves in the ed hardy body spray. It has that early 2000’s plasticky fruit note that does not jive with my chemistry at all. I’ll let it sit in the drawer for a few months and grow up a bit, hopefully I get the same lovely fragrance everyone else here seems to enjoy.

Okay...I was expecting something more powdery ! I had narciso rodriguez eau tendré In mind. Chance by Chanel is sweeter and has more density if that’s a word to describe a fragrance. First thing on my mind was, it smells like the fragrances they sell at Mumuso or Miniso. I bought it from a re seller in Latin America so I paid a little bit over $40. Still...it isn’t worth it for me. It’s not unique. Maybe something I’ll use as an after shower splash

I bought this for my sister, and tried a few spritz on my arm, a week before giving to her, and was impressed how nice it was to hopeful expectations, felt relieved she would like it. I can’t speak to performance but she was really gushing about how gorgeous it was afterwards which I agree was a beautiful scent. I thought it’s great value for the money.

It's simple fresh and maybe a little juvenile, I do like to wear it to the gym to sniff air around me, just a little bit for myself, because it reminds me of the shower and shampoo, it helps the mood especially when it's hot and sticky outside and you pick up too much BO from other people .

Once it settles, so dainty and airy, kind of like nice smelling shampoo. I love airy, fresh fragrances and this is something I would reach for when I need a break from all of the warm vanilla perfumes. For the price I would keep buying.

This smells awful, like it has a dose of ammonia in it. Makes my stomach turn, which I’ve never experienced with any perfume before. Why does it small like a nasty urinal? Big pass for me. Just awful.

I am a guy and I really like this, shame it doesn’t last that long but at the price I can afford to reapply and be generous. I don’t know the original but think that maybe I should go try it now

My mother lives 600 miles away. I purchased this for her as a mother's day gift and had it shipped to her. She loves it. Woman in her 60s.
