Coastal Pour Femme

I've had this for about a year and revisited it today. I was contemplating decluttering it. To be honest, it was not a hit when I first received it, but today it's a keeper. This fragrance bloomed beautifully! The florals rounded, the vanilla has peaked, and it does retain a powdery tone. It's not dusty or sneeze inducing for me. The longevity is great. I slept in it, and this morning, it's still going strong. I did not get an ambroxan burnout smell on clothes or skin, which I really appreciate. Too many ME fragrances these days leave the building at that 4 hr mark and forget to take that static, imitation woody, molicule with them! I didn't experience that with coastal. I dropped a laughable $12.99 on it last spring and no regrets! The notes on here are questionable though. This is a basic floral-vanilla-mallow scent with some powdery nuances.

I watched a reviewer on youtube talk about how sexy this was. I don't think of sexy as much as more angelic. Its a whisper of a more floral wind. Its awesome! And for the price even better! I'll buy a back up bottle of it for sure this is one of those you keep in your purse at all times incase your scent of the day has fadded. You gotta spray the heck out of it atleast 15 sprays so yeah buy a back up. If they come out with a stronger version it would probably be one of my favorites. My 10 yr old daughter wore it to school today I only sprayed her 5x not 15 like mom. She loves it too and totally appropriate for young girls in my opinion. And when she got home ..sadly I couldn't smell even a hint of it. I think its going for 16 bucks at jomashop right now. Deffinetly worth it. Its just really nice . enjoy!

I'm surprised this one isn't more popular.. this is similar to glossier you without the "lead pencil shaving" that a lot of people smell in it. But very similar in the iris and ambrette, musk, and delicate woody base. I can't smell any jasmine or rose.. Ultimate clean girl skin scent along the lines of glossier you and sonic flower at like a fraction of the price. Not a beast performer, you can spray lots, but it's a new bottle so I'll let it sit.. but neither is glossier you it's one you can go anosmic to.. 4/5 because because it could use more longevity but I'll update it later If it gets better.

Longevity is non existent, but this fragrance is awesome. I love a freshie, and this one is clean, sporty and yet still sophisticated. I wish it had more staying power, but given how dang cheap it is and how good it smells, I just go ham with it. It’s perfect for hot weather during the daytime. It doesn’t have any sort of beast performance, so you’re not going to suffocate anyone if you want to wear it to the gym cos you still want to smell fresh. Truly unisex. Very androgynous. Two thumbs up from me.

I just got this today so I can't speak to longevity, but scent wise this is really pretty 😍 Never smelled lacoste pour femme but coastal is definitely in the same vein as a few others in my collection. glossier you, lattafa ana abyed poudree, and zara angelic vanilla. I adore all of those scents so I'm very happy with this one :) plus I had a coupon so I got this for like $12. I'd say it's definitely worth the buy if you enjoy scents like the ones I mentioned.

Lacoste Pour Femme has always been one of my favourites. I have used it a lot and always have it in my collection..I always have a back up bottle too. That is why I did not buy this Alhambra version of it for a while..I thought it can not beat the original and what use would I have for a weaker version of it. Finally I did buy it (it was steal cheap) and was shocked how good it is..I think it actually is better than the original..Well done Maison Alhambra..!!

I don’t know what this is duping, but I love this for what it is. It’s a clean, soft, lightly floral musk. It smells slightly cozy but not dense. It really reminds me of wearing a cozy cardigan and walking on the beach. It’s also a great palette cleanser type of fragrance after wearing too many sweet and heady perfumes. It’s comforting on its softness. It’s got soft projection but seems to stick around my clothes very well. Doesn’t smell cheap at all.

I love this for work and in hot weather. If you like subtle fragrances and skin scents, it's worth a try. It is a spicy clean scent with floral notes that is very light. It reminds me of a slightly sweeter, less peppery BBW if you musk. It's good quality for the price. Very inoffensive for office wear and suitable for all ages.

This is a perfect scent that is clean and floral to me. If you work in the healthcare field this is a great non offensive smell that your co-hearts will appreciate. You can not beat the price as well. I get 6 hours of wear and it fades into a beautiful skin scent.

OMG it's so much better than the original. Lacoste on steroids. It last forever on me. I just love it.

Yup, reminds me of lacoste pour femme, I have both bottles now and they're similar. I really love it.

The iris and ambrette in Coastal are surprisingly great. I don't know LaCoste, the perfume for which this is supposedly a close approximation, but Coastal Pour Femme smells to me a bit like a cross between Chance Eau Tendre, Guerlain Champs-Elysées, and Calvin Klein Eternity Intense (because of the very prominent iris/orris note). Maybe add a smidge of OG Daisy. I find this charming and feminine, a bit more sexy than demure but still perfectly appropriate for the office or a day date. It's not challenging in any way, unless you detest woody florals, or you can't tolerate ambrette, in which case it's probably not for you. I bought my 100-ml bottle for a song, and it will probably last indefinitely because the longevity is so good. The bottle itself is rather minimalist, but the heavy metal cap confers an impression of quality and makes this more elegant than most perfumes in its price range. The name of the perfume is a bit misleading because "coastal" suggests the beach, and beach irises are not a thing, anywhere. It makes more sense to think of "coastal" as a descriptor for the people who might wear this fragrance. Coastal is not for the so-called coastal élite, at this price point, but it wouldn't smell out of place on some canny little Hamptons aspirant possibly. The Patricia Highsmith novel practically writes itself! Anyway, don't sleep on Coastal Pour Femme if you like creamy ambrette, bearded iris, and beast-performance bargains. Confusingly, there is no iris listed. I must be smelling freesia with heliotrope and rose and interpreting it as iris, but I sure do feel like there is orris/iris in there somehow. It does smell purple and unbeachlike, regardless. Update: I tested it on paper, and the longevity was only moderate. Wearing it today, on skin, I discern more woods than I did on the paper--and I like this dominance. The cedar imparts a clean vibe, and the freesia sings throughout. I don't get as much of the "orris hallucination" when it's on my skin. I do get a hefty dose of heliotrope, which is just fine with me. It does remind me slightly of Prada Infusion d'Iris, but I think that's more about the base notes and the slightly chalky powderiness that both perfumes have, a quality I often associate with iris (here mistakenly, I guess).

Subtle clean skin scent. You must be able to enjoy freesia, ambrette, and cedar, which are probably the most prominent notes after the slightly peppery allspice top note fades a bit. This is very much a your-skin-or-better scent, even when sprayed with wanton abandon, but it lingers a decent amount of time. I think I might be noseblind to some of the musklike facets of the ambrette, but I honestly don't think this perfume would bother the sensitive--or even be discernible to them unless they have their noses buried in the crook of your elbow or something, and that's on them. Update: Projection is intimate, but the longevity is quite decent, once you reconcile yourself to the reality that this is a skin scent. My husband noticed the allspice right away (although he misidentified as "nutmeg or something"). It occurs to me that it reminds me of Guerlain L'Instant Magic, only a much, much less potent take on the soft-spicy-freesia-musk-woods combo. The Guerlain is a lot more powdery, but they have similar pillowy-clean musks. I also think I become anosmic to certain musks and need to be careful with them.

I'm hypersensitive to licorice scents, I don't like them and I detect licorice in where it's not even be, and this one is exactly that kind of scent to my nose, but for some reason; I really, really like that shade in this combo. ( This is one of the reasons why I love fragrances, they can always surprise me!) with that "licorice" I detect mostly Freesia and yes, some Violet too...Beautiful, a littlebit even watery scent...Well, anyway; I've never had any other La Petite Robe Noir than Black Perfecto, so if I say this resembles that line, it might be a bit far-fetched, but to describe this, I would say something like that. This is definitely going into my everyday use, when it dries, it becomes a nice, sophisticated "edgeless", but surprisingly deep melted on my skin, a combination of licorice and flowers. I really recommend trying this one!

This one is nice, a bit too peppery for my taste, but good, unisex, inoffensive and clean... Violet is one of my favorite notes, ever. There is not one hint of violet in this, whoever said this is similar to Mojave Ghost is absolutely INSANE. Smells absolutely nothing like MG!!!

Watered down version of Lacoste pour femme, the OG is more intense , great fresh scent for everyday ware but unfortunately very week ... i will let it set for a few weeks and check if anything changes

This reminds me of a sweeter version of glossier ‘You’ It’s a lovely, playful, light and sweet fragrance. I really like it!

This is just an easy peasy, spray on and smell somewhat pleasant. There’s nothing really groundbreaking about it, it’s just a typical pleasant scent. It’s an easy reach, kind of relaxed casual day kind of scent. You’ll smell clean and fresh but you won’t be turning heads or anything like that. I think this would be pleasant for work or someplace you don’t want to attract attention. I picture this as the one you grab when you’re heading out to grocery shop, drop off the kids, run to gym. Fragrances like this serve their purpose so you can save your better scents for less ordinary occasions! It’s a bit safe for my liking, but I also think you need a scent like this for day to day.

I just got this today and while it is nice it’s a little unimpressive. I guess in a fan of beast mode stronger scents. If you like fresh simple clean everyday scents this is perfect. It’s a fresh lightly floral and spicy super clean smelling easy going everyday perfume. Think of ck1...unisex and just clean. You can step out of the shower and put this in to just finish up that freshly washed feeling. That’s all.

My daughters said it smells like uncooked rice. This is barley barley barley a scent.
