Delilah

I love PDM's Delina, and before I bought a FB, I went about researching and testing all the dupes I could for her. While I think that Montagne's Pink Rose is actually a more accurate dupe of the scent profile in Delina, I actually prefer Delilah to wear. Sharing Delina's DNA, Delilah is a sweet and tart floral bouquet, but it has a *juiciness* to it that I enjoy so much more than Montagne's dupe (and even Delina). Sometimes I detect an odd hint of spiciness, and sometimes I think I catch a whiff of citronella underneath the other scents, but at $17 on Amazon (it frequently goes on sale), I'm not complaining. My first bottle benefited from a month of rest upon delivery (the tart rhubarb note smelled too harshly sour at first), but I recently bought a second bottle and it smelled good from the first spray. My first bottle is about a year old now, and it hasn't changed much (in staying power, sillage, or scent profile) after than initial settling down in the first month. I filled up a travel bottle and added it to my workout bag for after my shower. I'm tempted to reapply it mid-day too, although I can't tell if it's worn off by then or if I've just gone nose blind to it. It's a pretty light scent, sweet but not cloying, floral but not screechy. Absolutely lovely overall.

I've been blind-buying a lot of cheap Arab perfumes lately. This is so odd to me and I really like it anyway--I can't smell any of the notes listed (caveat: I don't know what rhubarb or lychee smell like), but it sure does smell like a LOT. Before I got it, I couldn't understand the reviews that were like "it's a very GREEN rose" "it's a really SOUR rose" because those descriptors just didn't match my experience of roses or rose perfumes...but like, it IS in fact a sour, green rose. Just not one you'll ever smell in an actual earthly rose garden. This isn't supposed to be a particularly high-concept fragrance, but it smells abstract to me bc I don't know how to describe it without using synesthetic-ass Perfume Review Language (like "sour green rose" lol). It's not at all sweet to me, and evokes springtime foliage more than roses, but it's still hyper-girly. The only note I can actually identify by name is a very faint musk, but there are tons of other things I CAN'T identify. It's really potent in terms of sillage and whatnot, but somehow comes across as delicate. It doesn't have any of the notes I associate with "sexy" scents, but my bf says it smells like "slutty ballerina" and I absolutely concur. I just wish I could explain why

FRESH, feminine, tart rose with great projection. It's not a powdery scent in my opinion. The “sourness” in the top notes remains present throughout the wear, almost like a strong lime note ( that’s the kind of fruitiness you find in this). I completely understand why some might find it too sharp/screechy. The sweetness of the vanilla at the base is delicate and not so detectable, unlike in Very Good Girl, where the drydown feels sweeter and rounder but fades way too quickly (2 hours MAXX on my skin, after which it’s only noticeable if you put your nose on the skin). Overall i thought delilah was a better choice because of the price and the performance. It has a solid place in my collection for it's a fresh scent that lasts, VERY rare. There's also a "cardboard” facet in it (sometimes present in these arabian scents i heard), but once accustomed to it, you're fine... it's fine. This €20 perfume doesn't have the highest quality ingredients.. what a shocker!😱😂 But no for real, i love it and i love to have it. It's also very complimented on me. . My advice: go to the store, smell angel nova and very good girl, if you enjoy that scent profile there's a high chance you'll like this one too💖

I honestly didn't expect to like this one so much. I thought I wasn't the biggest fan of rose in perfumes (although I don't dislike it by any means, it's just that since my family has a rose field I've always associated it with rose water) but the rose in this is blended so beautifully, it's fruity-floral in a slightly creamy way. There is something a bit sharp at the beginning and part of the middle (one content creator called it 'spicy' lol and I agree) but to me it isn't off-putting/deal breaker in any way and I actually like it. It has a decent longevity, so far in the hot weather it lays about 4 hours, I'll see how it holds when it's a bit cooler. I like layering it with other fruity-floral fragrances as well, like Ariana Grande's Ari for example. Overall extremely satisfied and pleasantly surprised with this blind buy. It's very good for the low price. I haven't smelled the original Delina (which some say it's much better than this, while others say they're pretty much the same) so I can't compare.

A tart, vegetal opening and a lovely vanillic rose drydown. At first, the opening was too green and supermarket smelling for me, but I grew to like it. The scent itself is also nice, but its not necessarily groundbreaking or unique. Never smelled the original Delina, so I can't compare. Performance is moderate, and I have to really overspray to get any performance. Maximum 6 hours after spraying generously on your clothes. However, the level of wearability on this one? Insane. Its an incredibly easy reach precisely because the performance is NOT beast mode and it is a lovely feminine scent after drying down for 30 or so minutes. I've worn this to every occasion I could possibly think of, and I've gotten plenty of compliments each time. I will definitely purchase a second bottle once I am done this (which wont be too long from now considering I soak myself in this stuff on a daily basis). If you can, sample before you buy. The sour, vegetal rose may not be everyone's cup of tea. 7/10

I'm on my second bottle of Delilah in less than a year. I have smelled Delina multiple times and eventually hope to get it, but I found a good deal on Delilah and Afnan Zimaya Fatima, so I decided to get both. I remember the first spray was very sour and harsh, but in a couple weeks it settled down to a very soft rose with vanilla in the drydown. Received more compliments than I have with my $100+ fragrances so I consider this a win in my book. I found that it was the same for my second bottle which I just got, so I'm hopeful that by spring it will turn into the lovely rose/vanilla I smelled like all spring/early summer 2024. Comparing it to Delina, the performance is definitely weaker, especially the projection, but I'm not complaining. I'd say the juice is 90% similar. Zimaya on the other hand is quite different from both, with a heavier citrus. If you loved Delina, I would say this is a good starting point to see if buying it would be worth it.

I’m impressed with this fragrance. Impressed with the sillage and longevity. And I’m impressed with the price $25?! I’ve had other delina dupes I gave away. The litchi, rhubarb and musk notes were too cloying and headache inducing. This one is less cloying to me and more wearable. Unless you over spray and wear in 100° weather, then yikes. But it’s so worth a purchase just to have in your collection and it does smell beautiful. It’s not an everyday day fragrance. Just for days you feel like you want to smell like you want to smell like fancy rose. Edit: After having my bottle for a few years I don’t ever reach for it. The wood note has become so strong mixed the heavy dose of rose /litchi/ rhubarb. Maybe because it’s everywhere now in candles, air fresheners (BBW!) i think this fragrance does not do well where I live in a dry 100 degree climate. Where people sweat. Maybe one day I can comeback to it once in awhile.

Originally I wanted to get Delina Exclusif after smelling it a couple of times in a store. I loved its depth through the oud in the base. They gave me a small sample of the Delina body cream which, at the time, I thought was ok. A few months ago I tried DE again, however the drydown gave me Valaya which, I like but it wasn't the scent I remembered from DE and longed for. Then I smelled Delina on a friend and was in heaven! I came home and started using (albeit sparingly since it's a small sample) the body cream and couldn't believe how yummy it was. All this to say that at the PDM price point, I began looking for a good perfume that is very similar and heard how good Delilah is. I blind bought it and It is pretty, elegant, and the citrus/rhubarb/litchi is a wonderful intro to the peony and rose. I get no vanilla. Has very short lasting power and I overspray.

I found this to be a light, fresh, and pleasant rose. Picked this up because I sampled Delina and loved it, but wanted a cheaper version. Definitely lasts long for me but sits pretty close to the skin. I dabble in perfume occasionally, but have a pretty untrained nose - so I could barely tell the difference (especially on the drydown). I didn't actually find the fruity notes strong enough for me, so I mostly layer this with Kayali Sparkling Lychee. Good, everyday perfume especially that I like in the spring and summer (mostly because of my layering), but I think it could work at different times of day and throughout the year, honestly - I found it to be a pretty inoffensive, "safe" scent that I didn't find to be super synthetic, either. Nothing life-changing, but I find myself reaching for this one a lot and at the price, it's a pretty safe blind buy.

Now I understand the hype behind Delina. I get why the girlies get so pressed when there is a new dupe for their fav for only a fraction of the cost because this, is, lovely! I would be mad too if I spent over 300 for this scent profile, only for it to be duped shortly after! Anyway enough teasing, I have to say this is a sweet like candy type of rose. I am not sure how they have made this rose scent so youthful, bright and fluffy like a cloud, maybe it's the added citrus, but they have done it. I actually love the rhubarb in here to make this scent more green and tart, it rounds out that young rose so beautifully! It is like smelling an art piece, magnificent. I also have the Bath and body works one which many verified Delina owners say smell even more like it and while its more fluffy and sweet, Delilah is still up there with them.

hmmm, this should be right up my alley chloé is one of my favorites i love anything fresh and rosey, never smelled delina tho. My mom actually said this smells like chloé but stronger when i was testing it but it smells very dirty to me probably the rhubarb but it takes away from the scent in opinion 😔 i get this note that smells like a hamster or bunny cage like the loose bedding in the cage. I love the tart litchi and rose and everything except that weird note that is so strong. It does become less dirty once it sits on my skin for a while the vanilla ,musk , cashmere, and rose shine through. Im letting the bottle sit for a while in hopes it smells better after a little maceration like other reviews suggest. I really like the scent from afar after it softens but up close it smells a little unbalanced.

I absolutely love Delilah! For me, it's a perfect dupe of Delina that costs way less and it has great performance. Quick story: 4 months ago, I went out with my friends for a meal. I left my house at 4 pm, parked my car at the train station and took a train to the city. We got back on the late train at midnight. As I was about to get off the train, a guy came up to me and said, "I just wanted to say that you smell really good. We smelt you at the train station and my girlfriend wanted to know what you are wearing. I know it's something floral. We all think it smells really good. Can you say what it is?" Believe me when I say that Delilah is good, good!! My bottle is over a year old and very potent. You don't need to spray alot for it to perform really well. I love it! It's in my top 5 for life.

I love this perfume so much. The fresh bergamot and tart rhubarb are perfectly in balance with the beautiful Turkish Rose. It's so beautiful I wish I could bathe in it. My only gripe is that it's just not strong enough to me. I love beast mode scents, but that is difficult to come by in fresh perfumes. The rose in this smells very green and authentic. There's nothing synthetic or alcohol smelling about this perfume and that's why people go crazy over it. It smells like being showered in real roses. In spite of me feeling it's too light, my mom smelled it on me the first day I got it. She tried it on and immediately bought a bottle lol, so there you go. Just buy it. You'll love it.

I have already written a review on Delilah when mine was 1,5 months macerated. Now it’s been about 5 months and the scent got better! I think it got like a bit creamier or softer... not sure exactly what changed, but it feels really good, that i even oversprayed myself today and was enjoying it really. It’s still different scent than Delina, but Delilah is also really nice. My husband actually liked Delilah more than Delina og:) I think it’s the lilly note that makes Delilah different - it makes it more mature scent than Delina. And Delilah is less sweet than Delina. This difference in sweetness wasn’t so prominent before recently...

I originally purchased this as a gift for my wife, but it’s so good that I’ve started using it myself. The fragrance is beautifully rich in rose, with the vanilla perfectly tying everything together. There’s a slight spice and sweetness that make it both comforting and elegant. While most might consider it a feminine scent, I personally don’t believe fragrance has a gender, this one layers wonderfully and even works great on its own for me. The longevity and sillage are both impressive. It’s the kind of scent that makes anyone who smells it smile and feel good.

I have never smelled the original Delina. But Delilah smells really good! I smell the tart rhubarb right away, then the rose beneath it, and some fruity lychee. It's a zesty floral that is lightly sweet and so tart. I think it's perfect for warmer spring months and summer. It's strong. I would say this is better for a 30+ woman, solely because I find younger girls enjoy more sweetness. This scent is not a sugar bomb. It's not an old lady fragrance either. It's strong - two sprays on my arms and I can smell it all around me. Do not overspray.

Super close. Hell, close enough for me!!! I am shocked every time I smell one of these impressions that are nearly identical to the OG's. When I say the differences are negligible...... I'll likely always have momma in my collection. She is so pretty and in all seasons. Lovely to layer. AFFORDABLE! Strong as hell. She meets the mark at every point. I layered her today as my Vday scent with Baroque Satin Oud and Bade Al Oud Amethyst and it has been over 12hrs and my scent is still scenting! Such a mood lifter. Save ur money and snag this!

I got it as a blind-buy since I love roses and I love smokey perfumes.. At the first encounter. I liked it but couldn't say I love it. As I left it to develop on my skin, I actually loved it! I have been wearing it for the past few days since I recieved it. It has a nice musk-rose dry down.. It started to feel like my comfort scent.. And at the moment I feel I should but more of it for later :) Staying power is amazing and it has a nice spillage that I feel the scent creating a cozy aura around me.. I love it 😍

Not a rose fan usually,but I wanted to try something feminine and different than what I would normally pick. I wanted to smell something similar to Delina and was referred to this perfume. Tart, rose forward and green leaves is what I smell. Have not macerated this at all (2days old). I put her away but kept sneaking for another sniff and another and so on. It is very pretty without being boring or old fashioned. I am curious how this will develop over time, she is so beautiful already.

I bought this today as a blind buy at Burlington for $15 and am very impressed. Ive smelled only two other Delina dupes (the BBW one and the target finery one) and this one is the best. It is absolutely beast mode. I only sprayed a little but keep getting whiffs of it. It’s very rosy, creamy, and feminine. It is a youthful scent but is great for a more mature person as well. I agree with someone below that it’s a safe blind buy for most if you enjoy rose fragrances.

Powdery and floral, but not the common powdery-floral combination that you would encounter on local brands. I'm not sure if this is the best dupe of PDM Delina since I never tried it, but this one smells very feminine and is best used for daytime. It's also office-friendly. There is moderate sillage for the scent, and for longevity, it lasts the whole day if sprayed to clothes, and for 3-4 hours on skin. I tried Darlene too, but Delilah is a better choice overall.

I didn't like it at first - I'm generally not a fan of sour notes in perfume, and rhubarb is one of those notes that tend to not be good on me. But then, when I spray this on, I get whafts of strangely addictive notes :P My husband doesn't like many perfumes, but he smiled when he smelt this one (he barely ever get excited for perfumes). Basically, it's better than it seems. Don't remember if maceration did much to it, but it seems more complex now than initially.

If you like PDM Delina, then you will like this one for like 10% of the price of PDM. To me they are both great and I have them both. I don't know that the average person could tell them a part on me and I have worn them at the same time and have a hard time telling after awhile. This one is Litchi, Rose, Musk. I wear both of them as a dude and have gotten compliments. It also has a similar tone to Toy Boy. Not exact but close vibes, but also very different.

For my south asian girlies, this smells very similiar to rooh afza mixed in sprite. You got the sweet, rosy and somehow fizzy notes. To me, it's happiness in a bottle. Makes me feel like the main lead barbie in that mariposa movie. XD its cute afff. The drydown is quite incense heavy, which was slightly off- putting for me as i tend to associate incense notes with agarbattis (indian incense sticks) Except that, everything's great about this fragrance.

Love smelling this on my wife. Fruity fun rose based floral with great performance. Would not put this for an older demographic only, why is it that when people smell rose it is suddenly only for mature women? The fruit and other elements keep this from being heavy or too frumpy. I get a light but distinct coffee note too, similar to Intense Cafe by Montale. Price is a steal. And no, it doesn’t smell like a synthetic mess just because it’s a clone.

I love Delina so I gladly purchased this dupe of it for backup. I'll get straight to the point. It's a bit of a mix between Delina and the Exclusif imo. This still keeps the sharper tang of the OG with the rhubarb but blankets it in a more creamy layer like the Exclusif. I've let this sit for 5+ months and I'd put it strongly in the "long lasting" vote category. Moderate projection. I'm really enjoying this version. Do recommend. 8.5/10 rating

This is going to sound crazy but I like Delilah way more than original Delina. I have to be in the mood for Delina and sometimes she makes me sick must be the nutmeg. It doesn't happen with Delilah and I never got so many compliments even after 12 hours work in this heatwave.. I didn't like any other dupes I've tried so far, and I've tried a few so I couldn't be happier that I found a super cheap perfume that smells like luxury

Many people say it's similar to Delina, but I haven't smelled the original Delina yet. However, Delilah smells really good! It's so pretty and feminine. It starts with a fruity scent and dries down to a vanilla powdery rose. It lasted all day on my skin, but it doesn't project as much as I hoped. This isn't a beast mode fragrance; it's not loud or offensive. It's definitely a daytime scent, perfect for spring and summer days.

A great affordable alternative for Delina. It’s 85-90% similar. To my nose, it’s a bit more green and fresh. If I smelled it on someone else I probably wouldn’t be able to tell it isn’t the real thing. Very happy to have this in my collection, because I love Delina, but due to the price I use it very sparingly. The bottle is very pretty, heavy and well made. Feels more expensive than it is! Would be a nice gift. 10/10.

Just got it and it's love at first sniff. Rosey, creamy, with a lovely zesty/citrussy opening in the opening that it's prominent just in the first couple of minutes even less, then it gently lingers in the scent that goes towards its creamy rose heart. so elegant, femminine and classy. Safe blind buy imo for all rose lovers out there. Plus I got it for a ridicolusly cheap price. Super affordable.

Beautiful fruity floral. has a tart note so its not overly sweet fruit. I love wearing this! I also layer scents with it; fresh citruses, strawberry scents, white florals...I will deff. purchase a backup. stays on my skin 6-7 hours and on clothing much longer. its very girly. This bottle of mine was prepared according to the dated stamp April so its been mascerating a couple months now.

If you love BBW Covered in Roses and the OG Delina, this is your girl! Difference is in the first 15 minutes, Delilah smells good, but different, has a bit of a small spicy kick (not sure what that is and it doesn't bother me one bit) but dries down into the same Delina profile after 10-15 mins. Lasts long, I get 6-7 hours on skin right out of the box. Great bang for your buck!

I bought this Delilah and the Delilah Blanc. I had splurged last year on the OG Valaya and I have to say the Blanc dupe is amazing. As is the Delilah pink one. I left it in a cupboard for a few months and it’s so beautiful. I am not usually a rose fan but this is so sparkling and fresh I can’t help but love it. Maison Alhambra do some banging dupes and this is one of them

I never dreamed when I ordered this inexpensive fragrance that it would be as amazing as it is. It is a rose, rhubarb on my skin... strong and unapologetic. Just how I like a fragrance! Longevity is amazing and 15 or more hours later I can still smell it on my skin. Definitely in my top five and if you enjoy rose scents definitely give this one a try... perfection 😍

OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOD I smelled it quite literally as it came out of the box. Insane. And it smelled exactly like Delina!! I can tell it needs to macerate a little before she’s fully in her most delina-like state (it’s fading extremely quick rn and has a slight mintiness to it) but she’s already so beautiful. Not at all bad for $15 off Amazon!

At first I didn't like it, then I kept smelling it on my wrist and now I love it. It lasts for hours. I have to leave the house at six in the morning, so I sprayed the perfume about seven times. By the time I got back, around fifteen o'clock, the perfume was still there. In my opinion, it smells like baby powder with notes of fresh roses.

Best OG Delina dupe out there. I wore them side by side 3 separate days, different weather (I'm in Oregon so, yes, thats possible.) Great 1 to 1 dupe. I got it for $18 on Jomashop and got just as many compliments as I did with Delina. My mom loved it so much I bought her a bottle, too. Performance is excellent. 10/10

Smells beautiful right out of the box....it is hot or miss with perfume to find it's way. Today Was my lucky day. 🩷 I had a baby, and loved it almost as much as my Rasasi Eclát and Swiss Arabian 01. So I had to get the momma. No screeches in this one. Super feminine, sweet roses....fall in love again and again 🩷🩷

This is a safe blind buy , I bought it for my wife and first day she got 4 complements, its a soft rose with some light fruity scent of litchi and a hint of vanilla in the dry down, its beauty, good for daily wear performance 4 to 5 hours, it definitely smells more than $100 fragrance . I give it a 8.9 / 10

I’ve never smelled the original Delina, but Delilah is a zesty rhubarb and rose treat! It smells pretty and feisty. Gorgeous for daytime in the spring or summer. It’s quite strong, so just a couple sprays is enough. When my bottle first arrived it smelled a little odd - maceration really improved it.

Prettiest rose at the party. (* ́꒳`*) Such a lovely fresh sweet rose scent, I'm usually picky about florals they give me a headache but this perfume is so good. I get more compliments from this arab dupe than my designer fragrances. I'm so glad it's a big bottle so I'm not scared to use it up.

Este perfume lo compré por las reseñas. Pensé que no me gustaría tanto porque no soy fan de los olores a flores. Pero realmente me gustó mucho. No tiene larga duración ni protección. Sin embargo me encanta el olor. Se me hace justo por el precio que tiene. La presentación es linda.

Unbelievable performance for a cheapy, my mum can spray this from downstairs and I can smell it upstairs or when she’s walking around the house, BEASTMODE such a convenient perfume esp days you don’t want to wear your expensive ones you can smell gorge in this £20 perfume

At first, I hated this due to the sour note of rhubarb. Now that I've had it for a year, that note dissipates quite quickly, and I actually love the sweet-sour peach rose I'm left with! It's also a compliment-getter, and Delina-lovers always say it smells like Delina :)

Blind bought this, and although I am not a rose scent type of gal the dry down on this perfume is beautiful, to me its a sexy fruity floral. I really love it! I can get a good 7-8hrs out of this and on clothing much longer. For the price is def a hell yea for me. ❤️

Delilah is a clean, fresh, floral fragrance with a pronounced Arabian vibe. I got it recently and right now I'm finding it unwearable, am hoping it improves with a few months of maceration. Update 4 months later -- it's so pretty now, perfect for warm weather.

the opening is a bit strong for my sensitive nose and gave me a headache when I first tried it, but the drydown is heavenly! it lingers on my clothes for around two days. i haven’t smelled Delina, but my friend who has said Delilah smells quite similar.

I love this perfume. It’s a bright fresh rose fragrance without being like grandma’s rose water. The bottle and lid are quality - reassuringly heavy. It’s lovely to wear on a spring/summer day and is good for the office too. Fantastic value dupe.

Wow, I never believed that scents take a while to settle in, but in this case it's so true. When I first opened it, it was sour and strong offensive, but after 6 months in the closet, it turned out so beautiful smooth and rich. I love it
