Desirable Addiction

Devotion was in my top 3 picks of all the perfumes I sampled in my quest to just figure out what I like & what I can handle wearing. This was around the time of launch of Victoria. I studied & researched for a couple months, at the time I had 3 choices of a Devotion inspired fragrance. I chose Victoria and all the reasons ppl liked her better than the og are the reasons I didn’t like as much. I like Victoria & pair her w this sometimes, but this, this is what I wanted to begin with. I wanted Devotion, this is that. The opening is a lil sharper, but then the panacotta tones that down to welcome the vanilla. The orange blossom is soft. I love this dna, a gourmand w/o being too gourmand. I find it comforting and it makes me smile when I sniff. It projects strong at first, then settles to a nice bubble. I have had for almost a month. Right now I get close to 6 on skin, but it sticks around on clothing. I think I can possibly wear year around(Summer nights only). That is according to maturation, it could become too heavy for our hot, humid climate. It is cold here now & it has come out to play. For 20 bucks, I am very happy. 50/10

***98% Similar to Devotion for a Fraction of the Price! *** I am honestly blown away by Desirable Addiction. If you love the D&G Devotion DNA—that creamy, candied lemon and airy vanilla, this is a must-buy. The opening is very similar to the original, but give it 15 minutes. It settles into a beautiful, sugary panna cotta and orange blossom scent that is almost indistinguishable from the OG. While Devotion can be pricey, this performs just as well in terms of longevity on clothes. I wear this and do layering with the original. Total hidden gem!

I cannot believe I just paid less than 20$ for this jewel of a fragrance. I am honestly impressed. It smells great, even without being macerated. It's 99% similar to Devotion. There is absolutely nothing bothering me, it sits beautifully on skin and clothes. Cannot wait to see how well it will develope after a few days of maceration. But even so, it's like a beautiful piece of art.

Love this perfume. I’ve been trying all the D&G Devotion dupes, hoping to find one that actually lasts on my skin, as Devotion is about an hour if I’m lucky. This smells exactly like Devotion, just slightly more lemony in the opening. Longevity is not great, but it’s a brand new bottle so I’m hoping it will improve over time.

Smells like a stronger devotion! Don't know why I'm just finding out about this version...was going to purchase devotion on mercari for a discounted price and I'm so glad I didn't and took a chance on this ! Closer dupe than Victoria, Also stronger than bbw loyal to you. Yay win win!

Smells just like the OG but is stronger and lasts longer. I love this. I can confirm it doesn't smell like the intense version, I call that one "holy f*cking hazelnuts."

This is a spot on dupe for devotion , more so the intense in my noses opinion. I enjoy this scent, but it needed a few weeks to macerate before I actually liked it

This perfume is an exact dupe of D&G Devotion, so if you’re looking for something that smells just like it but at a lower price, this one’s definitely worth checking out. Me, personally I hate how the lemon isn’t blended well with the vanilla you can clearly smell them separately, and that’s a big turnoff for me. If the lemon in this perfume was toned down a bit, maybe I’d actually like it The first spray hits with an intense, plain lemon scent very sharp and citrusy. I'm not a fan of lemon-heavy perfumes, but if you enjoy fresh citrus notes, you’ll probably love this opening. Within about 15 minutes, the strong lemon starts to fade, and that’s when the creamy vanilla starts to shine through. After about two hours, the lemon completely disappears, leaving behind a smooth, gourmand vanilla that feels warm and comforting. So essentially, this perfume revolves around two main phases, lemon and vanilla. It has moderate longevity and sillage, just like the original devotion. Overall, it’s a great dupe if you love Devotion or want to experience something similar without the high price tag but personally, that unblended lemon opening ruins it a bit for me.

If you've ever smelled that bready accord from Trussardi's Amber Oud (obviously minus the honey and oud), it's literally the exact same scent, only refined and cranked up to 11. I absolutely get the whisper of lemon and cream for the first 15 minutes (of heaven); but after that it's all doughiness on my skin. Shame because it's that opening that I really adore. No overt lemon like I was expecting, so I have to keep layering it with Verveine Cedrat just to maintain that pastry illusion. Otherwise the sweetness is perfectly balanced, without a heavy-handed vanilla or saccarin-laden base. But if even the thought of fermenting yeast is a massive turn-off, the scent might not be for you. Layers very well with coffee and chocolate scents though, and gets a good deal of attention because of that baking intrigue. As for rum and orange blossom....nah. At least not on the initial wearing. We'll see how this puppy evolves over time. It's only a like for now.

At first, it smells a bit like "lemon eau de cologne," but then you smell a creamy vanilla, very suitable for all seasons and also unisex. I'm very satisfied🥰

I just bought this for my side-chick based on the reviews below... She sprayed six time in the room we in.... WE ALMOST DIED BOTH OF US never trust females this perfume got only lemon with dust in a Wendy day that will suffocate you like some evil spirit is trying to take your soul out from the hole of your ears God damn this is bad

Lovely perfume. At first, the lemon hits hard. I was ready to consider it a miss but after 15-20 minutes, the vanilla & other notes started to come out. I sprayed it again a few hours later and this time, no crazy lemon smell at first. It’s sweet and inviting. I love it !

It's as if they bottled Devotion in a different bottle. It's exactly the same to my nose. Victoria, also a dupe of devotion, has a bit of a creamy twist to it and I didn't like that one very much.

Wow wow wow. The best dupe of Devotion. Last longer then the OG. End of discussion. GET IT! 10/10.
