Eclat De Lune

Hated this when it first arrived. It was screechy to say the least. However, after about six months of sitting, it transformed into something beautiful. I agree that I didn't pick up on the marigold note though. I'm not a big fan of tuberose but I enjoy it in this. It also took me to spray this on heavily to really understand the scent. The couple sprays on the back of my hand and sniffing it directly on skin didn't let me like it. It's definitely better smelled in the air. If you don't like it now, give it six months and try it again. I'm actually really glad that I didn't declutter it when I first had the mind to.

Love this scent. Office safe with great projection and sillage without offending anyone. Fragrance opens with orange blossom and tuberose and the dry down I get the patchouli and musk but not offensive in any way simply beautiful. I bought a backup for it because for the price you can't beat it. This is a sleeper, I don't know why people don't talk more about this fragrance.

The same happened to me, I bought it because the bottle is cute and when it arrived it was...boring. It smelled like a watered down My Way, which was disappointing. After three months of maceration it is a strong white floral beauty. Very, very similar to L'interdit. Which I absolutely love. I love it now!!

This is not just pretty packaging but also a great everyday scent for all year round. However, it smells exceptionally nice during light, breezy rainfall. The longevity is at least 8 hours, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for more at this price point.

Beautiful!! like walking in a field of flowers and roses ... I got it blind buy and I love it ! If you're a soft floral musc kind of a person, buy it, it's a guarantee love.

I’m not sure what this is duping and most of the research I’ve done on this online was inconclusive. I’ve seen someone say this is a dupe for Acqua di Gioia, another said it’s a dupe for Ariana Grande’s Moonlight, and someone else said this is a dupe for Laura Mercier Eau de Lune. I’ve smelled the first two but I can’t truly remember if this smells like a dupe for those, especially without smelling them side by side. If I can get my hands on a few samples I’ll come back and edit this. I looked at notes and there’s a lot of differences so I’m treating this as a regular blind buy and not a dupe purchase. This is a powdery white floral type scent right off the bat. It reminds me somewhat of Bath & Body Works Moonlit Path’s vibe (not the DNA). This is powdery but sweet, has a touch of soapy florals, healthy dose of citrus and an earthy base. It has a warmth as it progresses. It’s a nice scent and the bottle is cute. I can make out some of the notes listed but truthfully I bought this for the marigold note and I can’t really smell it so there’s that. Once it dries down it’s mainly a powdery, sweet, musky patchouli and cedar wood fragrance to my nose. It’s not so heavy where the fragrance comes off dirty though so it’s really well done in terms of the earthier notes if you’re not a huge fan of those. And for less than $20? Come on! Even if I wasn’t the biggest fan I’d still say this was a nice score since you can always give it away, or resell it; I’m sure someone around you would appreciate it if you don’t. I wore this to the office and plenty of the folks I work with commented on how good it smelled so it’s definitely got an allure to it but I believe it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

A lot of orange flowers, soapy white flowers, vanilla/praline to form an incredibly sweet composition with no woods but a soft touch of cedarwood. I can't really perceive any patchouli (luckily). I think it has been though for girls and young women but ends up having something very classical, slightly vintage or old lady (and my mother who's 70 agrees). It starts very fresh and flowery and becomes more heavy classical - I wouldn't advice it for the office just for this reason. But it's a nice scent. I've already had this impression with "Girl' by Rochas (with which it has some similarity) and with another Nina Ricci Scent ( i can't really remember which one sorry ). Good projection and it lasts a lot. In a really beautiful bottle ( not a beautiful box instead ). I think it can be a good blind buy, standing one must love sweet and orange flowers based scents.

I am no perfume expert, but loved this one. It is light, fresh, floral, a little sweet and just the right woody note. Personally, it reminds me of a modern version of Lou Lou from Cacharel but ligher. It screams SPRING! HAPPY! VACATIONS! haha.

So. Much. Tuberose! Straight outta the box I do like it, but it’s *very tuberose-dominant. Let’s see how she is in a few months! 🤍

I may be in the minority here, but the only perfume it is reminding me of is Blanche Bete and Her Confession, but with a grapey opening. I don’t own L Interdit and can’t recall how it smells. I sampled the Fakhar one and yes there may be a similarity, but I hated that one. This one is more tolerable. I do have a sample of Le Parfum, I should do a side by side comparison. Either way, I’m not digging this just like I don’t care for BB or HC. I am not a fan of the grapey opening or sharp tuberose. It was a good deal so not much loss. A sample would have cost half the price of the bottle and I mainly got it for the bottle. I am really digging the turquoise and teal bottles that are coming out lately. This was my first bottle like this, it’s super cute and I love the name of it. I think I’m going to give this to my daughter for her birthday in September since she likes grapey white florals and anything with moons and stars. Who knows maybe it will mature into something better, though I will miss the pretty bottle. Edit: I think more praline and vanilla would have possibly saved this for me. And I get a hint of coconut though it’s not listed. It does remind me of D&G The Only One Intense, but that has a little more personality. Maybe with maturation it will be a decent dupe. Edit: I did a side by side with E. Saab LPW. They are about 80% similar. I prefer that. It’s smoother, less grapey and not as screechy. My bottle is 2 mos old now. If it ends up smelling more like ES and my daughter doesn’t like it, I’ll keep it. Otherwise some day I may buy LPW, it’s a pretty perfume. The first time I sampled it, I was pleasantly surprised. Edit #2: She liked it! It’s funny because I put it on my wrist 2 different times over the summer and had her smell it, but I didn’t really go into what it was and both times she said, “that’s mid!” Lol. Apparently, it matured and is a better perfume. Just not really my thing.

I tried it at store. It really reminds me of Versace Blonde with its luscuous butteryness. I would not call it fresh but it very sweet. It is a little fresh once you spray it but as it dries down the sweetness intensifies. I almost blind bought it but I am glad I did not because this would have become too much sweet for me very fast.

One of those perfumes I bought just for the bottle. Smells like old lady and gives me a headache. Super strong floral. Do not recommend.

It's like you put a bad quality lemon juice in a bottle and added salt. I was so disappointed 😢

I'm not sure what's happening with the notes, but the notes listed on the Maison Alhambra website and on Amazon are way different than those listed here: Top Notes: Guava, Davana, Pink Pepper Middle Notes: Tuberose Base Notes: Patchouli, Amber, Vetiver I'm not sure what I would end up with if I ordered the perfume on Amazon since I was interested in the notes listed there and on the Maison Alhambra website. Maybe it was reformulated?

The notes are nearly the same as Lattafa's Emaan, the only difference is Eclat De Lune has a praline note added to the base, which Emaan lacks. I haven't tried Eclat De Lune, but I would imagine it's a slightly sweeter version of Emaan.

I was planning on blind buying this because of the bottle, and notes seemed nice. But I’m glad I got to test it beforehand. To me it smells like an oldfashioned toilet freshener, and not even a nice one :(
