Ethnic Oud

So I live in Brazil and have to pay crazy money for niche stuff—almost $200 for Montale and $350 or more for Penhaligon's. So this Christmas, I am traveling to Mexico to my mom's house. I ordered stuff from Jomashop to be delivered there. I ordered Xerjoff Alexandria II Anniversary, Silver Oud, and Interlude by Amouage. Since I can't wait to smell them, I just bought this one. Ethnic Oud should be a dupe for Interlude Man, so now I am smelling Ethnic Oud, and it is really good. Magical. So I am happy because I guess Interlude is going to be even more incredible. I use Arab dupes to back up my niche fragrances, so if I want to smell like African Leather by Memo on a Sunday morning, I just put on Afro Leather by Maison Alhambra and save my original Memo. If I want to wear Tuscan Leather while I wear shorts and a T-shirt to drive my kids to school, I just use Toscano Leather by Maison Alhambra and save the real one for a night out. Sometimes I buy a well-rated Arab dupe to see if I would like the original. I don’t like to waste money on decants because, as I said, here in Brazil, prices are silly, and I can buy a Maison Alhambra for the price of a couple of niche decants... Ethnic Oud is GOOD! Approved!

This fragrance for me its smell sweet, herbs, incense, a bit warm, spicy and a bit of citrusy. Overall this a really good fragrance for older people, but I like it and Im 21y.o people around you gonna hate you for it, the longevity is insane last days on clothe and at least 8 hours or more on skin, project 1m for 6 hour, it will start strong in the opening and you need to macerate it for atleast 4 months, I had it for more than a year and its divine, sadly my brother breaks the bottle, Im too lazy to buy a new one, my mother don't like the smell also and don't want to waste money on a fragrance, I had a small collection of 6 plus this 1 thats break. Its a must have in your collection if you like to be different, bold and feeling confident. Overall 8/10.

This perfume is a typical of an adult perfume because the scent is dominated by incense, amber and oud, its bold and has a strong projection. For its long lasting longevity! . The smell is like entering an old building in Europe, quiet, majestic and a bit haunted. i don't know why this perfume reminds me of 'Insidious' movies hahaha.. its about love and hate perfume 😂😁

#917 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Got my bottle of Amouage "Interlude" Man off the shelf for comparison. Got this "Ethnic Oud" for $15.99 including shipping, and it is an exact, and I mean exact clone of Interlude Man. But Swiss Arabian's "Shaghaf Oud Abyad" and Afnan's "Supremacy Incense" are also damn close though each is more expensive and this performs much better. They still beat $165 for the Amouage by a mile. Too bad this happens to be my least favorite Amouage scent. Here they've even duplicated the Amouage bottle, like they did the Bvlgari Le Gemme bottles for Malachite, Amazonia, Oceana. But if you're an Interlude Man fan, this one's for you!

This is midnight mass on a cold Christmas Eve night. Stuff is nuclear! One spray max! Apparently 'The Blue Beast" (Interlude Man) has become the Blue Beast on s budget.
