Evolving Incense-Rose... I've had a chance to come back to this after awhile, and the spicy, smoky rose is lasting longer than when I first tested it. In the opening, this smells like an spicy, incense-y rose, with no similarities to Lost Cherry Tom Ford or dupes, although it moves a little closer to those as it dries down. At this stage I get similarities to Burning Rose Carolina Herrera. This stage lasts for approximately half-an-hour. As it starts to transition to the heart, the floral notes are peculiar: there's something leather-y in that could be osmanthus, something cherry-pie like that could be heliotrope, and something honey-like that could be honeysuckle. There's also a faint oud-y presence in the background. The smokiness of the rose here is blurred and it could read like incense, spice or the soft tobacco tones of tonka-bean. At this stage I get reminders of Back to Black By Kilian. This has evolved from my first test which seemed like "Black Cherry Leather with a Thin Veneer of Spicy Rose..." In the long drydown it moves closer to cherry leather, but the incense-rose remains layered above, with a faint oud-y-ness in the background. This scent has won me over. It's now a love for me. Enjoy! Update 08/14/24: Sprayed this on my wrist this morning. This continues to evolve, and the rosewood has started to come forward and helps to build the soft, sweet, woody, cinnamon-spice rose. Just gorgeous. Every time I test this I love it more,.

First off: I have never smelled the fragrances to which Exclusif Rose has been compared. But I simply loved a little oil dupe of Burning Rose I once had. It went to the dry down rapidly and had a vanillic base, but otherwise was quite similar to what I just got in the mail. Simple summary: A recognizably GORGEOUS and resinous incense, rose, and money smell. Not as complex as the (sadly discontinued) Calligraphy Rose which I have and adore, but closely related, without doubt. To be avoided if you hate roses or incense or womanly, middle eastern types of scents. I look forward to seeing how the scent changes over the weeks and IF it does, I will update. At present it has moderate sillage and longevity and is polite but not quiet. I consider it an EXCELLENT value in this category. Further thoughts: Packaging is completely gift-worthy. The box is hefty, with a set-in display for the bottle, which far exceeded my expectations based on photos alone. Beautifully chiseled and heavy weight. If I did not know better, I would assume this was niche and upwards of 200 dollars. And the scent does not remove this impression. Happily, I shall be able to wear this rich and resinous rose profile often without spending.... much of anything. Five stars!

This is a beautiful lightly smokey rose 🥀 There’s something about it that makes me think of expensive golden spicy rum, maybe it’s the combination of the fruits and the rosewood in the opening? Not sure, but it is definitely interesting. The dry down is more rose and wood forward, with a slight leather and the light smokiness lingering. I like it, but I am not really sure when I would wear this. Maybe date night at a fancy cocktail bar with dark wood and big leather armchairs would do it justice.

I like this very much, i just wish it would last longer. It's a nice almost boozy rose with something like fresh tobacco, and a lovely noble wood drydown. I don't particularly pick up any fruits, but it is still a little fruity somehow. Not at all as sweet as many of the other fragrances in this category. For the price, it is absolutely full bottle worthy.

It is surprisingly unisex fragrance. It's fruity and spicy and slightly floral. It has good longevity, but moderate sillage. Honestly, I don't get as much rose as its name suggests. It's really warm and heavy but pleasant at the same time. Winter will be the best season to use. It has turned out to be a great blind buy as I use it more than my wife.

A cold-weather fragrance. Very warm, candied rose, covered in amber at first, then more woody at the drydown, but not predominantly woody. Smooth because of the musk. Cozy, sweet, deep scent.

It's funny this has a 3.97 but almost all the reviews are good. I bought this for my wife but I wear it more than her. It's actually pretty unisex leaning slightly feminine.

This is a beautiful smokey, deep dark rose. Perfect for date night in the cooler weather. It's a powerhouse & very glamorous. Great value. Last for ages!

Me and my wife both wear this. I personally really enjoy it. A nice boozy rose. Doesn't last all that long but for 18 bucks I'll spray more. 8.5/10.

I have this and I LOVE it, the roses here are fresh, dewy, almost wet, little sweet, syrupy and citrusy in the opening, it's more citrusy and less dark than (Rose Flame by Fragrance World) and (Burning Rose 24 by B-12)... I bought all the three clones and they all share 90% similar scent profile, I love them all and I'm glad that I have 300ml now no regrets, in fact the beauty of this scent profile made me think of getting the OG if it's better than this!!... I'll try to test Burning Rose by CH when I get the chance. All the 3 last around 7 hours with good average projection... this one $15 considering the price it's a 10/10 I also have exclusif saffron from the same line by Maison Alhambra, to my nose, it's like sweet fruity chocolaty with a leather in the opening then in the dry-down it's dusty, little dry and very smooth and velvety on clothes, reminds me of toasted coconut... excellent 1000/10 long lasting, high quality and project very well.. & I also tested Exclusif Tabac it's very strong, true beast and long lasting too, I would say it smells like red tobacco 70% very bright tobacco not dark or spicy. I have many fragrances (not listed on fragrantica) from Maison Alhambra and Fragrance World, and I'm impressed! Middle-eastern fragrances improved big time👏 Update 2024: this now projects very very well 3+ h and last very long on skin 9+ hours.. its now sweeter, citrusy rose like lemony rose drops/hard candies 1000/10... and i tested saffron lazuli by CH $280 it's shockingly identical to Exclusif saffron in the first 4 hours then Saffron lazuli becomes more leathery while exclusif saffron more chocolaty powdery, less leathery but still both are very very close... honestly I prefer Exclusif saffron, the dry chocolaty dry-down is unbelievable delicious 💙

I'm confused, so much so that I think perhaps a mistake might have been made by the manufacturer. My bottle of Exclusif Rose looks like the bottle on this Fragrantica page, but when I sprayed the test strip I immediately smelled the EXACT same scent as Lovely Cherie, also by Maison Alhambra. Could this be deliberate and not a mistake--I mean, could they be putting the same identical juice in a different bottle and saying it's rose, expecting people to smell it as an especially jammy and ripe rose? Because this is giving me nothing but cherry liqueur, same as Lovely Cherie, the Lost Cherry dupe. It's not awful--not like Rose Petals and Bright Peach--but I certainly didn't need a few more ounces of it in different packaging. I detect zero rose, zero pear, zero lychee, and loads and loads of cherry-almond coumarin.

Approximately one year from my first review, I'm still befuddled when I see the listed notes and compare them to what I'm smelling both on my skin and on paper, the same basic fragrance I smelled then, which is a somewhat weaker Lovely Cherie or the Maison Alhambra dupe of Lost Cherry. I think they must have accidentally bottled that scent in this bottle, which is admittedly quite lovely. I'm going to see if a friend can tell them apart in a blind test. I get so much coumarin/almond in this, just as in Lovely Cherie, and no real oud or even woods to speak of. Odd. I do like this fragrance, same as I like Lovely Cherie; I just wish it was as described in the notes pyramid on this page.

I bought this perfume on a total whim, brought it home, sprayed it... and immediately thought, “Oh no, what have I done.” So it sat on my shelf for months, untouched and unloved. Then I tried it again before listing it for sale and—plot twist—I’m obsessed with the dry down. The opening still isn’t my thing, but that dry down has me absolutely hooked. I don’t even like it... but I can’t stop smelling it. Make it make sense.

So i am a big fan of Carolina Herrera and I blind bought this. It turns out it is 1:1 dupe of Rose d'Isparta. Boucheron Rose d'Isparta is mine the most favorite fragrance in the world!!! Please dont buy those few pcs what is left in Europe :). Mine didnt have time to mature, but even on firs spray it is stronger and beast mode. Which i dont prefer. I dont like beast mode. But I do prefer the price.

To me, this was a very weak scent. When I first got it, I barely got 3 hours from it so immediately sent it to my room spray drawer since Iliked the scent but hated the performance. Months later I sprayed it and it's so much stronger. Smells similar to Santal Majuscul, rose, cocoa and sandalwood combination however it is not gourmand. I'll try this again on skin to see if it performs better.

Upon just receiving a bottle, the initial spray reminds me of MA's Exclusif Saffron although not as strong. As it dries and settles develops into a very pleasant, feminine leaning unisex. Nice top notes of Rose and Pear, isn't too in-your-face but then has a lovely and heavy Ambery Musky base. Not very long lasting atm, only a couple of hours, but I'm sure that will increase over time as it macerates a bit more.

Can someone help me understand this fragrance? I just received it, and as per usual, I took it out of the box, went outside, and sprayed a few times. As it wafted my way, I got punched in the face with spice, much like i remember the 80's days of something like Ungaro's Diva. I detected no other notes. Please tell me that this will mature into something "rose".

First Impression: July 7th, 2025, was the start of a 3 month maturation period-- this bottle presently smells of a weak and watery sweet floral and a v sharp synthetic powdery oudh/wood scent. Currently, this is a reliable headache inducer. 3 months Later: October 8th, 2025, end of 3 month maturation period. The powdery oudh scent has mellowed and doesnt scrub the nose anymore but it does overshadow the jammy floral rose scent. It's scent profile feels like a dusty jar of rose jam. I don't know the scent of palisander rose wood, but i feel something else would've served better. And the millefloral notes makes the scent too busy to appreciate as a rose fragrance. It doesn't sit as the stately rose in A Rose For... by Floris or as poised as TF Cafe Rose Unisex. Additionally, if they had added a effervescent quality to this profile, it would be better balanced and keep the powdery quality from suffocating the rose. Summary, IMO: Product is incomplete. Layer it, if you want it to work for you. It is not good enough on its own. Suggestions: >a warm resinous scent as the base, >a sweet (but not achingly so) vanilla base, >If you enjoy a bright musky citrus or aldehyde scents layering with one could help to make Exclusif Rose lighter and a lot easier to like. Decision: I will likely not wear this as-is but will keep it and see if I feel differently on December 8th, 2025. Check back if you're interested. Final update: July 20th 2026 Whew! This took a whole year to mellow. The powder oudh rose spice-rich vanilla is scentsational. Oddly enough, I'm choosing this as my scent before bed in July-- this is very much a autumn + winter option. It doesn't need anything after it fully matures. Starts with a low and easy profile after the initial spray dissaptes and continues to warm and glow. Woody rose with spice and vanilla. The Caroline Herrera Burning Rose, the original scent, is a Modern Floral Chypre Though i feel this dupe is more a woody-floral with a vanilla base.

I could write that this is the weakest of the "Exclusif" series inspired fragrances from Maison Alhambra. I could... but I'm not a fan of rose and generally all other floral scents. Bulgarian Rose, Turkish Rose, Damascus Rose... it's a horror for me. That's why I'm not objective. For people who like a similar scent profile, this one may be very interesting. It has quite limited projection, but that's good... I would feel hard in the company of someone who would overdo it with this frag. And what's most important (for me)... my wife also doesn't like strongly defined rose notes in perfumes, She doesn't like the smell of exotic rose at all. A wonderful family synergy ;), but I will repeat - for women who love flowers... and roses, this perfume is worth considering. A little decant to start this little oriental adventure...

I received it today. A very pronounced note of agarwood, which is not present in the notes. Strong and lasting, I can't define the other notes as the agarwood is very strong and dominates for an hour now. It's different from what I expected, but it's not bad. I'll give it a shot.

It links to secret amber by Jovan. Not impressed by first few sprays. Pretty weak and I will wait for more time to pick it up again.

I don’t think the main accords listed above or the notes are correct. This is a spicy scent. Slightly burnt green scent to it.

The notes for the original Burning Rose are Rose Cinnamon Patchouli Ginger so I doubt these are correct.
