Florence

This has been on my wishlist for ages and I finally decided to give this a go, even though the reviews are nearly non existent. I really wanted Gucci Flora for years, but I've heard it's been reformulated and it's garbage. ( This review is before maceration) ALSO, I haven't had Gucci Flora in ages, and I know it's been reformulated, so I can't compare these two side by side for now. To start, the bottle and box is beautiful! And it's HEAVY!! AND the sprayer?!?! This thing shoots fast and FAR! And it's kinda wide sprays too! Also, the projection on this is very pronounced right off the bat! (I could smell this multiple feet away) HIGHLY IMPRESSED! Wear time is about average or a little below, as of right now. I'm sure that will change. (There are DEFINITELY oils in this fragrance, which I WASN'T expecting) On the first blast, I'm hit with a sweet bergamot and white florals, but that QUICKLY dies down. The sweet fruits starts coming through. It almost smells like strawberries and a minimal peach. The peach feels a lil underripe, or just BARELY ripe. It feels like a white peach as well (it's not very sweet, it's juicy, but minimal sweetness). The rose here is SO delicate (thank God). The Lily and Jasmine are much more pronounced than the rose. This has a soapy quality BUT IT'S IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE. It's not like white bar soap or anything. This feels like the most high end, LUXURIOUS SHAMPOO possible. This has some SLIGHT green touches to this fragrance, but NOT in a herbaceous way. More like the petals of a flower. I get almost no patchouli. I'm noticing that the bergamot is there from start to finish. One thing I'm really I'm loving about this fragrance, this feels like the best mix of youthful and grown woman. It feels like the best of both worlds. It has the right balance of fruits, florals, and sweetness. I honestly feel like you COULD ABSOLUTELY dress this fragrance up. It doesn't feel completely casual. To add in, spring, summer and fall would work extremely well for this fragrance. Although, this MAY feel suffocating for some in VERY high heat. But that is just my opinion. Even though I haven't had Gucci Flora in literally ages, this fragrance is honestly making me emotional. It reminds me so much of my old job (that was the first time I had tried Gucci Flora). I wore it for the first time around someone special, and it's definitely bringing me back. To my memory, it's not a one to one, but definitely in the 80% range. This one just doesn't feel as refined as the original did. I think if you like a louder fragrance, or you want a replacement for Gucci Flora, then I think this is absolutely worth a try. Considering the performance, the scent profile, etc. this is insanely inexpensive too. I give this a 9.5 out of ten! (I will update this after it has macerated)

This is becoming a fast favorite. I know that I have probably smelled Gucci’s Flora at some point but quite honestly, I can’t recall exactly what it smelled like. My opinion is definitely not going to be able to reflect the similarities to the original. However, when I sprayed Florence, it was instantly familiar. This may be due to the fact that this has become what many would dub, “a generically good fragrance.” I don’t think it’s exotic but it is bright, clean, sensual and classic. I would say this is a predominantly fruity fragrance despite its name. The florals soon punch through but they meld together so seamlessly with the fruits that you can’t even distinguish between them. I love the bottle and how it has little toggles at the end of the strings on the cap. I don’t know why but I find that a tasteful detail that you would have found on a bottle in the 90’s. The longevity is very decent with the sillage being mid-level but you could always overspray to get a more dramatic effect. Florence definitely smells more expensive and elegant than what it is. All in all, I bought this off of Amazon for under $20 and it’s exceeded my expectations in every way. I can’t see too many people being unhappy with this unless they are looking for a clone of Flora. People seem to back up the fact that they are similar on this site, you really can’t go too wrong blind buying this. As a standalone, with no comparison to what fragrance it’s duping, I would give this a solid 8 out of 10.

Y’all I am floored over here. Flo was put in a flash sale, I grabbed for $12. I had looked at this one before, but thought I would wait until the first of the year. I have never smelled its comparison. Remember, I only started wearing perfume again this year, so I haven’t smelled everything. Anywho, I thought, well most have to sit anyway. No, no Flo doesn’t, she is ready to party. I tested on paper yesterday when I got her, she is still smelling on my strip. So I wore today while crocheting. I never quit smelling Flo, so I topped off for bed. This is so good, a beautiful fruity floral, with a smooth almost creamy vanilla dry down. The peach with the vanilla gives it that smoothness. The musk is sweet, non cloying. The fruits & florals blend so effortlessly, sweet, bright, and fresh. Add that dry down and this is so feminine, I felt clean & pretty wearing. I can’t believe I only paid 12 bucks! Flo is a good one!! 100/10

I bought this because it was a dupe. I had found a small sample vial of Flora by Gucci thst I had bought YEARS ago and fell on love with it. Found out it was discontinued and desperately searched for a replacement. This is it. Initially I was like meh it starts off strong but the last scent wasn't doing it. After letting it sit for a week, it's become a very solid performing perfume with more depth and matches Flora so much more. And I still can't get over the price point. Under $20 for an EDP at 3+Oz. It's been as low as $12 on Amazon.

I have half a bottle of the OG and trust me, you can not tell these two apart. I was pleasantly surprised. Straight out of the box the scent was rich and matured. Absolute perfection. If you loved the OG Flora , you'll love this one too.

Gucci Flora was sadly discontinued, but I never moved on. I was forced to live without her. Then Florence came along. It feels less like discovering a dupe and more like conducting a séance. You spray, you wait, and somehow the room fills with the well-known scent you thought you’d never smell again. Not a vague resemblance. Not a distant relative. Flora herself, exactly as I remember her. Florence didn’t create a new love. She brought an old one back from the dead. Some things just aren’t meant to stay buried.

I haven’t smelled the OG in a long time, but always wanted it. I sampled it anytime I had the chance. From what I remember, this is pretty darn close! It’s a beautiful perfume! The fruity opening transforms into a stunning floral, and settles into a warm musky vanilla. I didn’t sense the patchouli at all so it must be just a hint! Lasted at least eight hours on me but as a softer version of the first hour. The bottle is such a great quality and the price is fantastic! Definitely a good buy and blind buy worthy!

Back then I tried once the original Gucci Flora and I know that I liked it. Usually I’m not a big fan of florals, But I blind bought this dupe for summer. I was suprised that this pretty perfume is just the same on me like Laura Biagiotti’s Laura. All I can smell is peach and watermelon with floral notes, just like in Laura. I got mature vibes: Long skirts and dresses, Enya music. Enjoy it If you are want to show your inner mature romantic side!

I acquired this in winter. At first I thought it was very weak. Now that I have had some time I have changed my opinion. This is a very light classy citrus floral scent, and actually smells kind of green and slightly vintage. I like it! It is performing respectably. I would not pay more than 25$ for this. I am glad I have it. This is classy. Like the bottle.

I finally got to test the OG fragrance it's inspired by (Gucci Flora) but I didn't smell this in it at all to be honest. This one is heavily floral and the notes fall flat. It's jasmine-rose so it reminds me of floral soap. I used it for layering until I decided I simply don't like it and gave it away. It's low-moderate in strength.

I own Flora by Gucci edt (the green one). On initial spray they don't smell alike, but once it dries a little they are identical. A hint less substantial than the original, which I find cloying and heavy although I love it as 2 sprays (avoiding chest) get me through an entire work day. Am greatly pleased with this alternative!

Heavy floral scent, last all day. Not for me since it's too strong.

I have the original Gucci flora, tried to replace it to save the rest of the bottle. Had really high hopes. I read lot of feedbacks about. And wanted to give a chance. It’s floral the very first but then turn into something geil nauseous fruit. Can’t decide if it’s the peach but definitely gave me hard time. Luckily not last long at all. Definitely nothing like Gucci flora. Another blind buy, another disappointing I’ll keep giving chance of this before totally giving up

From my experience with Alhambra perfumes( I have 10 of them), they are not really dupes of designers perfumes. The similarity is only in the first minute at the first sniff. After that, the smell turns into simple perfume that does not arouse interest, unlike original perfumes that are more complex and sophisticated.

Airy , pretty , fresh , happy representation of the original. This already feels STRONGER and I just opened the package. I can smell the Lily in this and normally , Lily is pretty undetectable . A great deal and man oh man, these Alahambras are getting better and better every day!

I love Gucci flora which is so sophisticated but this one isn’t even well blended and it’s cloying. I paid 18€ and it was a blind buy so it’s fair.

98% to the original, I own both its a good back up...
