Fortnight by Maison Alhambra is a surprisingly well-done Fahrenheit dupe. While it naturally can’t match the depth and refined quality of the Dior original, it actually comes across as more wearable, easier interpretation of that iconic leather-violet signature. For anyone who either doesn’t want to spend big money on designer fragrances or simply wants a budget alternative, this is a very smart choice. It’s one of the few scents for which I even bought a backup bottle, and with its solid longevity and projection, it delivers great performance for the low price. Okay I sit here doing a side by side comparison, a lot of people are talking quite a bit of BS here, fahrenheit and fortnight are virtually identical, the only differences I can detect are, fortnight is a little more rough, notes are blended ever so lightly more rounded in fahrenheit, and the violet leaf sillage in fahrenheit is a little more natural and slightly candied, bedsides that save your money and just purchase fortnight as it is almost impossible to distinguish the difference. Also an added note, I wear things like Layton, Altier, YSL parfum, hombre nomad and fahrenheit, these are my scents that I will forever wear so I know this DNA well, and this I can tell you will save you money, also the longevity is very similar, I would even say the same. 10/10

This stuff is intoxicating to me. Can't stop smelling it. For $20 USD this is a banger. So many notes and blended so well, I can barely distinguish them, but the amber and leather are in the driver's seat. It smells deeply masculine, but sweet. It's apparently a dupe of Fahrenheit but some reviews say it's not a good dupe. I tried Fahrenheit in a department store and I thought they were pretty close. Close enough that I probably won't shell out for a bottle of Fahrenheit any time soon. Regardless, I love this stuff and it gets compliments. Huge bang for buck.

I looked at the comments and said I will buy it and see if it is similar to Fahrenheit or not... and honestly it is very nice. Fortnight is slightly diluted and its smell is sugary, not bitter. If you like Fahrenheit, take this and do not care about the comments. Give a rating 9/10

This is a very good Fahrenheit clone. It's practically the same, barring the oil quality difference and performance. I get 5-6 hours from this, while the OG is around 8 hours but can't complain for this price (about USD12 where I live).

Whether this is close to Fahrenheit i have no idea but this is a damn good fragrance. Leather, florals, some woods and citrus. It's a pretty good performer as well. 8.5/10. This is one that can be wore all year round.

Nose Note #601 Just like Fahrenheit, but a little lighter and easier to wear. I'm completely fine with the OG, but this is also perfect. Still, just like the OG, my wife doesn't like it, but never mind. 10/10

I'm surprised this actually lasts awhile. I get quite a bit of leather and citrus. I'm not into freshies that much but this is good. 8/10

You ever put on a fragrance and immediately feel like you’ve smelled it before? That’s Fortnight for me. It’s warm, woody, and just a little sweet. It's like stepping into a well-loved leather jacket that still carries traces of cologne from past nights out. Right from the first spray, there’s this soft, creamy sandalwood that takes the scene, paired with something slightly spicy. It’s not aggressive. Comforting, I'd say. If you’ve ever tried Santal 33, you’ll get the idea. But where Santal leans drier and a bit scratchy, Fortnight feels rounder, easier to wear. As it settles, there’s a suede-like softness that comes through, almost like freshly cut wood mixed with a hint of vanilla warmth. It never gets too sweet, though. It stays refined, casual, and just right. A scent you can throw on without thinking. Decent performance. It won’t fill a room, but it hangs around close to the skin for hours. A scent you notice only when you lean in. If you like woody, cozy scents that don’t shout for attention, Fortnight is an easy pick. It’s got that timeless, well-put-together vibe, like a classic movie that never gets old. Not groundbreaking, but effortlessly good. This definitely mimics Fareneith, one of my fav scents of my late '80s

Okay, from all the Fahrenheit clones I sampled, this actually manages to scratch that itch. Closer to the original than Mercedes Benz Intense, with the gasoline smell and the leathery note being much more prominent. Projection is pretty good, longevity is fine, it takes 3-4 hours before it becomes a skin scent (based on a single spray on my writst). While settling it starts having a more burnt/toasted note on the leather, and later it goes a bit sweeter... caramel? And quite the contrary, Dior actually has a weird, but addictive cucumber (as per my fiancee's words) freshness somewhere there. Obviously blending quality has nothing to do with the Dior masterpiece, where all the notes have a life on their own throughout the whole cycle on the fragrance. But I guess it would be harder to notice this if you are not comparing them side by side. Comparing prices, I wouldn't say Fortnight smells 5 times cheaper for sure.

Clone blend of Dior Fahrenheit EDT + EDP. I wanted to test this out specifically because apparently it's a somewhat smoother take on the dna in the open, while still remaining true to it. It opens with a sharp smack in the face violet with that distinct gasoline Fahrenheit smell but it's not as overpowering. In the heart it settles into a masculine cedar, leather, and clove. The base starts to get warmer from the amber and then smoothes out some as the vetiver comes forward. Violet can sometimes be too much for me; I'm just extra sensitive to it, but it really worked in this case.

I have three other Fahrenheit clones/inspired by (Mercedes Benz Intense, Sapil Disclosure and GianMarco Venturi Frames Essence). This is less pungent than Sapil Disclosure which is, in my humble opinion, the closest to old Fahrenheit. It's more similar to Mercedes Benz Intense, so it works as a fresher and more wearable and versatile version of Fahrenheit. Price/quality ratio is good. I paid 19 euros and it lasts and projects long enough (5-6 hours), my GF likes it a lot. Approved, but if you want real OG Fahrenheit you should look elsewhere.

Fornight is an interesting fragrance with that kind of gasoline smelling that lavender gives. I love DF, FMA needs to take some storage time before getting a similar smell. If you enjoy gasoline smells I recommend you Najdia Tribute from Lattafa. It doesn't clone any perfume that I know and still being a great alternative of DF. Same vibe, other way. For the price, it is a good fragrance.

I’m no fragrance snob. This is not THAAAAAAT bad. 🙄 Just lacking the gasoline & the dry down is giving too much cinnamon that it’s giving Coca Cola. ( I don’t mind smelling like Coca Cola 🤪) Wish the leather was amped up a bit.

#1330 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I remember my reaction to the original formulation Dior "Fahrenheit." It smelled toxic to me (my wife hated it). While in college I had worked over the summers at an oil refinery, mostly doing firefighting and hazardous materials work the union members would not do, including working for typically 16 hour days in large deep pits full of toxic liquids, digging out leaking waste gas lines and such, often without adequate breathing gear. But, in three months I could earn enough that combined with bartending and bouncing during the school year would allow me to pay for the living expenses my tuition and fees only scholarship didn't cover and my parents couldn't afford. So I did it. When I first encountered Dior "Fahrenheit" at the Tacoma Mall in 1988, it reminded me of that waste petroleum product smell. I know they reformulated it to be less toxic smelling (and less potent of course) in 2002, then turned it into a vanilla scent in 2013, but I have never tried those versions. So I cannot honestly contrast and compare this clone of Fahrenheit with the real juice. The listed notes don't match "Fahrenheit Parfum", EDT or Cologne, but most closely replicate the notes listed for the "Fahrenheit Cologne." What I can say is I find this a likeable, high quality scent that is business and pleasure appropriate, that I'd go easy on in close spaces, that I would save for cooler weather. It lasts a good 6-8 hours on my skin and projects for several after applying. Unfortunately I don't love this and will give it away to a fragrance enthusiast I'll see this afternoon. I just don't care for clove as a note. And while it's not a really strong influence in this scent, it's nonetheless there and it's a scent I don't enjoy. But I think most guys will enjoy it, and it only cost me $17, so it's not a regrettable blind buy. However, now I am motivated to get a decant of the current version of Fahrenheit Parfum, which lists no clove, and give it a tryout.

A good leather & benzoin fragrance , it last around 4-6 hours with good projection & sillage for about 1 hour...if you can get it really cheap is good, if you don't wanna spend more and just wanna have a good wearable leather scent in you're collection.. just keep in mind that is a clone of Dior F 😃

I miss fahrenheit. Even during the last 8 years it has become a shadow of its former self. I don't want to participate in this madness; I mean, how expensive are those chemicals!? We can spray more to make it project more, if that's what you're after, but that still doesn't fix the longevity problem?! Sorry. I'm ranting. But I'm sad and I'm angry. And i really wanted this to be the answer to my frustrations. I've given it more than a whole hearted try. But it sucks. It just sucks. This is not scratching the itch. This is teasing the itch so it just becomes more itchy. I got one more try with the divain clone, but then it's back scouring the used markets.

this is not a Fahrenheit clone, not at all. none of the flankers. it feels like it was taken from a Dior Fahrenheit bottle by an inexperienced chemist, heavily watered down and then put into another previously used bottle which had contained totally different fragrance. so wrong. I am rather disappointed and surprised because MA generally does spot-on dupes. in addition, that note pyramid should not deceive you. it doesn't smell that rich or aromatic. it is either a failed attempt or a confusing interpretation. unexpected from the brand. 3/10

I’ve never smelled the original, so this review is solely based on its own merits. The opening is quite harsh, with all the notes hitting you simultaneously. However, the dry down is more pleasant, as the leather becomes more prominent. For the $16 I spent, this is not a bad deal. Would I buy it again? No, it’s not my type of scent, but this bottle will last me years.

So...I don't know how ignorant you have to be to call this perversion a perfume and give it a good rating...and compare it to Fahrenheit but I'm not one of those people! If you like rancid butter with fried chicken intestines in it...you can't go wrong with this one. God, this is some kind of joke. Don't buy it, it's a NIGHTMARE. In conclusion...I love Fahrenheit, I adore leather scents BUT...this thing here is neither leather nor petrol nor violet...it's HORROR in a bottle that makes me sick (but really). Now I'll give you the recipe to make it... You take a pot, put an old lipstick of your great-great grandmother in it, then rancid butter, some old candy, boiled chicken intestines, dried sheep shit, cat urine and...VOILA you have Maison-Alhambra/Fortnight. This perversion needs to disappear from the face of the earth.

Spectacular clone! Fahrenheit EDT is my all time favorite fragrance especially the old formulation, as the new formulation seems to toned down. Fortnight is not as refined as Fahreneheit and not as loud as the old formula, but is the closest clone I tested (Mercedes Benz Intense, Antonio Banderas Diavolo, Ferrari Uomo). In the opening Fahrenheit is more green and more floral, where Fortnight is more on benzoin side. Not realy benzoin, but more engine oil smell. But as they dry down they became more similar and if you don't smell them side by side is almost impossible to say which is which. Projection moderate, longevity ok 6-7 hours on my skin. If you don't want to spend the whole price on the original, considering the lack of punch of the reformulation, Fortnight is a very good replacement. Recomended!

Just sampled Dior Fahrenheit today and it was a revelation. Maison Alhambra really is a gift. It is 100% the same fragrance. from the opening to the dry down. The intrigue for me was the fact it's from '88. After getting it, it for some reason reminds me of SNES, playing the lava levels. Like a cozy embrace. It also reminds me of that special Lava soap for mechanics. This is for the person like me that read reviews wondering. However, I have to tell myself this and you: lets keep a collection of only few of our favorites, and gift the ones we barely wear, and never let it become a collection, as these prices can help or hurt humanity and the Earth. We decide. Will they feel the need, or will there always be another fragrance? Maybe some foraging in nature is what were really after.

I dont have MH Fortnight, but I just purchased OG Dior Fahrenheit edt for $90 bc its seemingly a great price, batchcode 4A06 - 9 months old. Its EXTREMELY weak, lasts 4 hours on clothes, but becomes a plain woody scent after only 2 hours, poor sillage and a bit soapier than older batches. Dior Fahrenheit is now a total RIP-OFF! I will be purchasing MH Fortnight asap for comparison, I just wanna scream this from the rooftops so people can save their money! . And I'm being SO FOREAL rn! Dior has butchred that beautiful dna, its a damn sin man😔 (And I appreciate anyone who took the time to read my rant.) Ty

A great representation of both new and vintage Fahrenheit ! This is the best clone so far. Highly impressed and I have several vintages that I have been living off of for a few years now . EDIT: The vintages get Sweeter with age! I jut realized that today . These are NOT as close as I had thought. BUT, Fortnight is still a good one to own IF you don't want the NEW Fahrenheit that smells like melons and that hand cleaner in the round tin that mechanics use to get grease off their hands.

Don't hate it and don't love it. The brief opening has the Fahrenheit feel but the drydown is considerably different. I hated Fahrenheit initially but grew to love it. I wish this was closer. This may grow on me also. With as good as clones have gotten its surprising that someone doesn't have closer to a one to one.
