Galactic Men Elixir

I see the listing for this is finally correct. My full review is under GM Intense, as they were previously mismatched. I'm not a big gourmand guy, but I do love A*Men and I love this posthumous dupe. These instances are really the only justifiable deployments of a good dupe. If the original goes extinct because some stupid conglomerate wants to whittle down the treasury they just paid good money for, let them reap the rewards of their sheer corporatism and watch someone else corner the market share they abandoned.

To be as perfectly and as plainly as possible, this is a generic fragrance. My very first thought when I first sprayed it on skin (I blind bought it), was that it smelt like a generic body wash that a teenage boy would use in the shower. However, Galactic Man Elixir is not all bad! The scent is (while not unique) mass appealing and bears a solid masculine aroma. The whiskey is very noticable, and the patchouli is a nice touch to the overall scent profile. The longevity is mediocre, so I suggest slighlty overspraying to improve sillage and longevity generally. I would wear this fragrance in winter, during a shift at work or hanging out with the posse at someone's house. Overall 7/10 - generic but mass appealing (with good reason)

I picked up Galactic Men Elixir (GME) and Galactic Men Intense (GMI) duo bundle for just $29, which is an incredible deal for brand-new-in-box bottles, no complaints there. My GME was produced on 11/2024 while GMI was produced on 02/02/2025. I agree with other reviewers: the listed notes seem inaccurate. They were likely inspired by Pure Malt but instead reference Pure Havane from Maison Alhambra. GME smells almost identical to Pure Malt and at this price point, it’s hard to fault. With further maceration, I expect its performance and projection to improve. To my nose, GMI projects better than GME, likely due to the amber in GME versus labdanum in GMI. Both fragrances are safe for office wear and given the affordability, they’re an excellent bargain compared to many pricier Middle Eastern offerings. You can't expect something this cheap to rival expensive fragrances.

I own both Galactic Men Intense and Elixir and I can say that either Fragrantica mixed the 2 up or they changed the bottles somewhere down the line, so what was initially Elixir is now Intense (and vice versa) While somewhat close, my Intense has that unmistakable whiskey note, while Elixir leans much more towards sweet, honeyed side... very nice scent the both of them, but if you're looking for Pure Malt, go with Intense, while Elixir goes much more towards Pure Havane. Also, I own Star Men Nebula, and Galactic Men Intense is nearly identical to it.

Just got this today, and it smells so good! I'm a big fan of Thierry Mugler, but I've never smelled or owned A*Men Pure Malt, so Galactic Men Elixir is a first sniff for me. These are just my initial impressions from a blotter. I owned the original A*Men in the past and finished an entire bottle, so I'm very familiar with its patchouli-dominant DNA. Galactic Men Elixir definitely carries that signature, blending it with rich whiskey, malt, and vanilla notes. I can't wait to give it a full wear test and see how it develops on skin.
