Glacier Bella

I smelled this first on my friend in last winter, and I thought "well, it's a cute scent, but that's it". Then everytime on those days, when I wanted a sophisticated moderately sweet fruity fragrance, I was thinking "shoot, it would be nice, if I had Glacier bella today". I couldn't get this scent out of my head so I ordered a full bottle. And I love it! This is the optimal feminine sweetness you can wear in every season. Simple, soft, silky vanilla with a hint of pear, and there must be some amber, which deepens the scent to a calming, slightly powdery state. For me, bergamott is not recognisable, maybe in the first 10 secs, it's good, beacuse I don't like citrusy scents. I've used a decant of JPG La belle Le parfum, and it's not comperable, this is muchmuchmuch better! Better blended, more exciting, less forced deepness in this. And in longevity Glacier Bella performs a 100 times better. And 25 Euros for 100 ml? Come on...

I have this and la belle on each arm. When I sprayed this one at first la belle did come to mind so I grabbed it not knowing they were suppose to be dupes. After spraying it and letting them both sit they have not been the same. La belle is stronger with more of a real pear that's baked, more like a warm pear cobbler. Where this is more of a sugared candy vanilla pear with no signs of carbs or anything else with it like a candy. If you like one I think you'd like the other. They're not dupes. They're both very nice. You'd probably wear them on the same occasions and get the same vibe. The difference is do you want a pear cobbler or sugar covered vanilla pear candy for dessert. I'm not a fan of pear cobblers but there's something really nice about la belle. La belle is fresher, and this one is warmer.

I cannot stress this enough: LET. IT. SIT. As with so many of these Arabian perfumes, it needs to macerate, but your patience will be rewarded! A fantastic dupe of La Belle, sweet syrupy pears with a warm woody depth, it’s one of my favourites. Longevity is about 6 hours or so. I love this one so much.

I got this today, and immediately after I got nostalgic. Took me a minute to remember but this is 90% replica of the Lancôme Miracle Forever perfume! I love it!! It so so soft and powdery whilst also having that citrusy bergamot note being dominant in the best possible way.

This is so good! No idea how it compares to the OG, but in its own it is stunning right at the get go. Hoping it gets more longevity and sillage with time. It’s syrup pear with that bergamot to make it sultry/a little masculine edge. This is an instant love for me!

I love this! Reminds me of a honey and wine poached pear dessert that my mom used to make. Simple, sweet, a little syrupy with the vanilla. I find that this lasts for several hours and you cant beat it for the price!

I wear it today after months and I love this scent. It's playful and gives me a scent bubble. For the price, I just spray extra in between.

The bottle and packaging on this is lovely ❤️ *An important note before reading on further* I say this this with the upmost confidence, If you want a GOOD dude for La belle Le Parfum, THIS one is NOT going to be it. If you're wanting a cheaper alternative for the OG, you will be disappointed. I can't stress this enough. Now on to all of my comparisons and thoughts. Comparing this to the OG, there are so many DISTINCT differences, I could smell the differences right away without even comparing them side by side. The citrus in this feels WAY more subtle compared to the OG. In this one, it's almost non existent. You just get a slight pinch of something resembling citrus. While in the OG, it reminds me of a sparkly 7UP or Sprite. That citrus aspect lasts MUCH longer in the OG than it does here. The pear in this, feels like a juicy canned pear put in a VERY light syrup. While in the OG, the pear feels like it's been cooked down, or stewed. It feels so much more dense, rich, and syrupy sweet. The overall scent profile here is quite light and fresh. With the OG, it has so much more depth, intensity, and character. This version is so light, you could absolutely use this in spring and summer. I do not see this holding up in colder months due to it's poor projection, scent profile and longevity. This is listed as an EDP, but it's definitely performs more like an EDT. This one, doesn't project well on MY SKIN, at all. It sits so close to my skin the entire time. And, I can't smell anything past two to three hours. Even with so much OVER spraying...... This is a very linear fragrance, it really doesn't change from the moment you spray it. While the OG on the other hand, actually feels and performs like an EDP. It actually lasts on skin and on clothing. AND it actually project's. I would keep the OG version for fall, or cooler days altogether. Considering just how different these two are in scent profile. Another thing I'm noticing, this one feels much more musky, while the OG feels like there's a note of suede or something extra. This version lacks that note all together. These are so different that it's honestly not redundant to own both. But I would highly suggest just getting the real thing, because this just doesn't even compare to the OG. While I feel like these are in the same scent family, they are so where near in the same league. This fragrance is like the Temu version of the OG. Or, it's like a diet version of your favorite drink, it's nice, but it's just not the same. This is not a bad fragrance per say, but it's definitely not a good clone/dupe. I think if you want a sweet fragrance, that is still somehow light and not headache inducing, then I think this would be ideal. (I want to point out something now since I'm comparing the two fragrances. My bottle isn't new whatsoever. I've had it since mid November, so this has had a chance to macerate for MANY months now, and it STILL lacks in so many aspects compared to the OG) But if you've never tried the OG I would not suggest this clone to give you an idea of that fragrance. Just try to find something better, or try save up for the real thing.

It's an absolutely deliciously sweet fragrance. Like super duper sweet. The opening has this harsh green scent and it's the same note that comes in perfumes that usually are packaged in green bottles or packaging. It's a strong note that's very nauseating to me and reminds me (of anyone knows it) of Milton Lloyd's Colour Me Green from the late 2000s and early 2010s which made me sick. That green note is here and can be cloying or violently nauseating for some. Does anyone know what that note or ingredient is called? Thank goodness it dissipates after a an hour and gives way to this super sweet pear and vanilla that lasts forever on clothes (not even exaggerating) and the pear is more of a desert pear than the pear from the fruit n veg section. Update 19th Feb 26: I'm not sure whether I've grown accustomed to that green note that makes me sick or maturation has taken place but I'm not as affected by it. Still don't like it but glad it doesn't last too long. This fragrance has strong silage and projection.

Updated Review : I blind bought this for €14 and oh my God, it is beautiful. It is sweet, Syrupy and feminine...I have bought alot of new fragrances over the past few months and my husband complimented me on this fragrance !!!! When it first arrived, he said he didn't like it! but a few weeks have passed and I decided to wear it, as I love it and he said...wow you smell delicious 😋 To me, it smells like a blend of Black Opium and La vie est belle... I actually cannot believe how affordable this is..I highly recommend ladies.

Right out of the box, I didn't dig this for me. It hasn't Matured/macerated. I sprayed it on hub's neck. Yummmmmm. On me, I prefer sweeter scents like Delina and Armani Si. On my hub I like Tom Ford Lost Cherry and Bitter Peach. This is very Manly to me. But scent is subjective. I'll revisit in a few months after Maturation. Edit: 3 months later, this is NOT a unisex cologne. Way more feminine. I like this. Very spring summer fresh pear fragrance. I wouldn't think most men would like this. It's nice.

It is a great dupe for La Belle, sweet pear, vanilla and patchouli. When I just bought it, the patchouli was STRONG but after having it for almost a year I can say yes it is well blended like La Belle....It is also very similar to Police to be good vibes for her. I prefer Police to be good vibes because the patchouli isn't as prominent and it is not as thick. Much better for summer or warmer climates. If you want a closer dupe to La Belle, go for Glacier Bella.

Super sweet pear scent, but canned pears in syrup rather than a fresh and juicy pear. A little bit cloying for my tastes as it dries down, which is shame because at the initial spray there's a slightly smoky vanilla note that would improve the whole perfume if it lasted longer than 15 seconds

This is absolutely amazing. A great dupe for La belle. I've had for a few months now and at first the longevity was not great about 4 hours max. But after 3 months it lasts easily 6 to 8 hours on skin and over 24 hours on clothes.

I think this is close to the original but is less complex. I think it benefits from some layering, where the original stands nicely on its own. I did get an immediate compliment when I put it on and left the house.

The pear shines above the other notes. Sweet and syrupy, with a background of vanilla-smoke. Very sexy, feminine, and alluring. Like it.

I bought this on a whim after seeing it on Amazon and it supposedly being a dupe for La Belle Le Parfum. At first I was slightly underwhelmed as it wasn't as sweet, sultry and intoxicating as LBLP. It still has the sticky pear and vanilla but it's slightly fresher, so I'm guessing it's more similar to the original La Belle (which I haven't tested). It also reminded me a lot of a body mist I had about 6 years ago from Superdrug from their Layering Lab range called Oriental. I've only had this a week and now I really like it. Its a lot stronger and lasts for about 5-6 hours before I need to respray. I really enjoy it now. Like a lot of Arabian perfumes I think this needs to macerate before it reaches its full potential. But I do think it's worth a try if you're looking for a warm sweet scent that's wearable for all seasons.

I’d say it is a mix o la belle and la belle le parfum. It smells really good and it’s very close to both, but the longevity just isn’t there :( disappointed. I wish it lasted longer and projected better. It would have been a perfect substitute for jpg la belle le parfum since it is being discontinued. Someone said it smells similar to Khair confection but I don’t agree, they’re different.

It's a beast mode sugary caramelized pear fragrance that smells odekolony. And the pear in here is not fresh, but sugary, sickly sweet, like, if you know this pear dushess sucking candies but without freshness but sickly odekolony caramelized sweetness, it good to wear it in a cool season also at night out.

I think my bottle needs time to macerate. My initial impression was mature. I don’t get heavy notes of anything and the dry down is very subtle hints of vanilla and citrus. I wouldn’t qualify this as a dupe of anything higher priced. If after some time it changes I’ll update my review.

So this perfume was cheap.. like $30 on Amazon in Canada. Not bad considering many middle eastern frags are in the 50+ range now. Probably could be like 20-25 elsewhere.. However this smells like a $5 frag that I got from the dollar store .. now it's a new bottle so if it changes in time I'll fix my review. I hope it does.. I like to give fragrances a chance so I always let them sit a while. This smells a lot like rasasi ebhar except that one is denser and just better .. but it's also not my fav. I've never tried la Belle and I doubt this smells like a pricey designer perfume I'm gonna assume this isn't like it, at this point .. maybe there is similarities? It's not very strong.. its a whispy fragrance that is a little rough around the edges. The pear could easily be apple .. or some generic fruit that a lot of body sprays have .. the vanilla isn't bad it's a cosmetic type of vanilla that has some florals involved too which aren't listed... maybe a young girl would like this to feel like she is wearing her first grown up perfume. The bottle is nice enough. The tin can it comes is not lol. But it's just packaging I was hoping for better juice based on these reviews. Unfortunately unless you get an amazing deal on this I don't see how it's worth it there are too many other really good middle eastern frags now. It doesn't smell bad.. if you spray lots you'll probably smell nice in passing it's just very meh. I'd love to eat my hat and review it in a month or 2 and hopefully she evolves

I get a hint of the fresher pear from the original La Belle but the overall scent is much closer to the Parfum imho. It has the strange, biscuit like note that I get in le Parfum and has the creamy vanilla tonka style dry down without the strong vetiver from the OG. Unfortunately is also has the classic Bisch aroma chemicals that you find in the La Belle range too, so no good for me as it smells like tarmac in the drydown.... same as La Belle and La belle le Parfum :(

Sadly doesn't smell a thing like La Belle intense or La Belle original. Maybe upon first spray it does, but as it dries down it becomes extremely heavy white floral and less pear and vanilla. Headache inducing almost

Ive now had this fragrance for about a year, and I can say with confidence I cannot stand it. I have let it sit in a dark drawer away from light for months to let it macerate and to me it still smells the same. I dont know if this is exclusive to Arab fragrances but it is so strong, it feels like I got punched in the face with this scent, I have never gotten the chance to smell La Belle and I wanted to have a sexy dupe for it, so I went with this. I just don't love it. All I get from this is a mature, headache-inducing vanilla. It smells very mature to me and just overall not what I was expecting. If you do like this fragrance though, it does last into the next day onto me with very few sprays which was horrible for me, but may be great for you.

Consider yourself warned before wearing Glacier Bella. This fragrance is a serious male magnet.... yuck! I’m a mom and wife and want to be left alone but I used this last and let’s just say I’m sleepy right now LOL...It has that kind of effect. What really surprised me is how complex the scent feels compared to what is listed. Fragrantica only shows three notes, but there is absolutely no way that is the full story. There is a noticeable leather and vetiver presence that gives it a slightly sharp edge. At times that combination can even lean a little bit nauseating if you spray heavily. The overall vibe La belle by Jean Paul Gaultier, but with a twist. It feels like that style of fragrance blended with a richer, more exotic character. It has an almost Arabian or African warmth to it that gives the scent a lot of personality. Performance is excellent. I sprayed it at night and when I woke up the next morning I could still smell it clearly on my skin, which honestly impressed me.

I just received this beautiful fragrance this weekend. BOY RIGHT OUT OF THE BOTTLE ITS AMAZING. i've experience with most Middle Eastern perfumes you have to put them through maceration period. But here with MASION Alhambra Glacier Bella it's beautiful from the start. I can't stop smelling my clothes and skin. It's surpose to be a dupe for JPG LaBelle. I haven't had my nose on it. I plan to get a sample. If this is any where close I'm good with keeping this in my collection. I'm already wanting a backup bottle. The projection is good . I'm sure it's not as intense but so, so lovely. Sweet and soft pear/vanilla and comfort scent. Addictive to say the lease. LOVE,LOVE,LOVE THIS. Please don't ever discontinue this fragrance ....Don't wait Just buy it. And the cost is amazingly easy compared to OG.

I just got this and i agree it’s a sexy sweet rich syrupy pear and leather. It gives me the feeling of one of those rollerball oil perfumes. With the scent of sweet syrupy pear vanilla that had seeped into the bottom of my fine leather purse. This is a sexy fragrance for a date or night out. I’m curious if this scent just gets better in time as with the longevity and projection. But for the price I can over spray and re-apply to my hearts desire. I smell the similarities definitely to Khair confection but Glacier Bella is more dense thicker with the leather. If you can’t smell the leather smell Khair and then smell this one and you will pickup on the leather. Other wise this is such a fabulous fragrance to own for such a bargain. Back ups is needed because you know how things get discontinued.

É perfume de bissexual LOL 😆 Misterioso, resolvido, selvagem e envolvente. Noturno e marcante independente da estação. Abre com pêras suculentas e ardidas e logo dá corpo ao couro doce de fundo mentolado. Tem uma conotação unissex, dual, andrógena. É o tipo de perfume doce que combinaria bastante com homens sensuais, mas em uma mulher... É femme fatale. Não acho que combine com pessoas meigas ou cafonas. Sinto que de fato é preciso de uma torção (positivamente falando) na personalidade pra dar match 😅 Peguei pra mim em uma promoção e foi uma ótima aquisição. Ainda não macerou pra afirmar a fixação, porém já de início ele exala bastante e fixa por mais de 6h.

Wow, I'm in love with this one. For me this is the perfect pear fragrance and I know it's a dupe of La Belle JPG but I actually like it more that the original. I dont know how they've done it, but they turned a green pear into this most syrupy sweet pear concoction (Poires au vin or pear jam while it's still reducing in the stove that's what reminds me of) while still retaining the freshness of the Pear. My bottle it's new so I don't know about longevity yet but just for the smell itself and the ridiculous cheap price, it's a banger.

To my nose this smells exactly like Khair confection. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, just disappointing because I was expecting something closer to the warm, brown-sugary praline pear pie vibe like Lattafa’s kingdom for women. This is a one-dimensional sugared pear. Not a bad scent, just lacks the depth the OG JPG has and thus not a good dupe.

It really smells like JPG la belle. It isn’t as “complex” but overall it’s very close. Someone who isn’t really paying attention would think it smells the same. I think la belle leans a little more floral in the dry down, so I actually prefer this one. Lasts a decent amount of time as well.

This is such a beautiful fragrance. If you’re looking for a dupe for la belle, this is the one. I’m not sure why this is marketed as a unisex fragrance because I can’t picture a man wearing this. It’s very sweet and syrupy to my nose.

Such a pretty candy pear scent. If you own Khair Confection these are like 95% similar. So you probably don’t need both unless you love having different variations of the same scent profile. This one is more budget friendly tho! :)

Ok, so this is a dupe (good one) of La Belle, the original, not the Le Parfum, the Le Parfum is much deeper and sexier. I’m just confused on why they used the colors from the Le Parfum bottle? 🤷🏻♀️

The real notes: Top Notes - Bergamot and Pear Heart Notes - Floral notes and Leather Base Notes - Amber, Musk, Vanilla and Vetiver Just got this bottle, and it’s nice. I’m enjoying it so far.

@bantuarabian Not sure but you might be talking about the green pear. I find it has this sour note similar to the leather smell in many fragrances.

It’s OK. Nothing less, nothing more. Good price though!
