Glacier Bold

this is one of the most delicious fragrances i've smelled on my skin. it's fresh, sweet, and a bit tropical, with a noticeable pineapple note that isn't overly juicy but never feels artificial either. honestly, calling scents "synthetic" is overrated, especially since le beau edp itself has a slightly synthetic vibe. as a dupe, glacier bold does resemble le beau edp, but it also reminds me of the edt, sitting somewhere perfectly in between, it feels like the best way to describe it. beautiful, versatile, and likely my new signature scent. my husband, who usually dislikes masculine fragrances, finds it pleasant and easy to wear, even if it doesn't surprise him much. it feels very youthful, maybe even too youthful, making it perfect for a twink or someone who enjoys playful, casual, and seductive scents. i wouldn't recommend it for formal settings or if you consider yourself mature or are over 30. this is for carnal, informal moments where you want to feel attractive without trying too hard. overall, it's an incredible fragrance (and i haven't even let it macerate yet).

I'm gonna give you the facts with no BS since i figured most of the people in here haven't even tried LB/LBLP or own it... i do. 1. This is a hybrid scent, it is trying to emulate the Le Parfum dna but ends up being Le Beau EDT + Pineapple. Le parfum has this hard candy like sweetness that is not here, instead, you get a powdery, citrusy coconut, just like the EDT. I'd say 80% LB 20% LBLP. Side by side, the quality is like 15% worse in the Maison Alhambra, but definitely not that different. 2. I had reviewed this before, my older bottle was kind of a bad batch in terms of performance, plus, i go noseblind to this scent profile easily. I sold it and bought it again, this one performs way better. I get 5-6 hours of decent projection and sillage, stays on skin for about 8 hours. 100% beats my LB edt, but not a good performer as the Le Parfum, which easily gives you beast mode results. Spring, summer, fall and winter appropriate. Worth it 10/10 if you love JPG, overall an 8.5/10 for the average person, I'd see why would someone not like this, try it before purchasing.

I bought a 10mL decant of this stuff since I'm pretty uninterested on all of JPGs releases (I only enjoyed UM but hated og Le Male and Le Male le Parfum) but le beau le Parfum and elixir seem to get all of the hype, and I wanted to try either of them out. Although this is not an exact clone, most reviewers say it is like 95% close, and with me owning several Maison Alhambras I can definetly say that they are so good at cloning the real deal, some of them are undistinguishable from their inspiration. I've never smelled Le Beau LP but if it's this but better quality I need to get me a bottle of it. This is sweet, ambery and lactonic, I like the opening, but the mid dry down really clicked with me and my skin. I get 10 hours on skin with 3 hours of pretty loud projection. Quality is decent for a clone and I like how in my skin I can detect a smoky aspect, which I don't see anyone else mention. Great buy for a beginner, I might get a full bottle of this or the og both are probably excellent designer fragrances. 8.9/10

I rarely review but I must say this is by far and away my favorite of all the 22 fragrances I own. I am in love with the coconut and pineapple. However, it slowly fades into a powdery tonka bean scent. The presentation is awesome and the smell is even better. This scent is probably best used throughout spring, summer, and fall. It might cloy a little during the summer months but less sprays would remedy that. The only critique that I can say is probably the longevity. While, it does last a while, about 4-6 hours for me, I would've hoped it would have gone for longer. But its a $21 clone so I really can't complain. Especially since, everyone around me also agrees that this is my best cologne. This is my first review and for good reason. This is a summer-MUST 10/10.

This is a quintessential layering perfume, perfectly unisex and addictive on its own. The tonka really stands out to me, and only after it greets me does the coconut and bergamot hit. This is a rare instance which bergamot doesn't smell purely of fabric softener, but actual citrus. Rare being... this is the only time this has ever happened for me. For that alone it gets high marks. My only critique is a minor one I half-expected: it's just shy of arm's length. For a perfume I intend to layer with, that's not terrible. Hardly something to complain about. Because the tonka is so rich to me, I think this is a solid year-round fragrance. Especially if you live closer to the equator, it just makes sense. Coconut doesn't have to be restricted to one season.

The opening is a bit alcoholic, stronger than LBLP. I bought it as an everyday scent so I can save LBLP for special occasions. After 30 minutes, it’s almost indistinguishable from LBLP. The only difference I'd highlight is that LBLP has a slightly stronger powdery vibe and a richer tonka bean note overall more richness, which are less noticeable here. It definitely delivers on the coconut, and the pineapple gives it a subtly stronger top note. It gets a bit synthetic in the drydown and weaker, but it’s extremely close to the original—just a bit less smooth and creamy. I'd give it a 80% similarity. A perfect clone for me. Worth the money. Update, after 6 hrs it is almost completely gone, the LBLP is still there after 8 hrs.

In one word - Wowzies This is amazing, Smells exactly like JPG Le Beau Le Parfum maybe even better. The scent smells very tropical and the notes are very strong for those first hours. Tonka bean, coconut and vanilla are very heavy in this fragrance at the start but quickly turns into a sweet pineapple and coconut smoothie while being very easy to wear. I would say this is about 90% close but it has its own twist which imo is better than JPG. ISSUES - The only issue is its not the strongest and maybe lacks on the longevity. Longevity - 6-8 hours easily with 4 sprays. Sillage - Moderate Overall - i think this is a must get especially if you can grab this for under 25 pounds. 9/10

Had to update this one again after smelling the og. I'm on vacation in switzerland and decided to visit the local perfumery shop, and to my surprise, the entire jpg lineup was on display, including paradise garden. Since tiktok, the hype around jpg has caused them to be out of stock in all the states so l've never gotten the chance to smell anything but elixir, Imlp, and le male. I've worn maison alhambra's glacier bold a few amount of times and I always thought the scent was too in your face sweet, so I thought lblp would be different. To my surprise that powdery sweetness is the exact same as the og. 100% not worth spending the 150$ on Iblp when you could the same for 30$.

i just got one and tried it out on my skin: glacier bold goes a different path from le beau le parfum, more sparkliness and mintiness, the pineapple not as strong, less sweet and coconutty make this frag become little bit shallow, and not much wellblended. anw, its a super affordable frag, versatile and easy to love, just not as good as lblp in my opinion. ill let this frag sit down f a while, and come back for an update. edit: a month passed, not similar to le beau le parfum, much more coconut creaminess and citrus, miss the opening. its good tho, but i prefer lblp.

Upon the first opening it does smell 1:1 to jpg le beau le parfum. But as it dries down I see it a lot more like le beau edt. It's not as strong with the woodyness and amber of le beau le parfum and that's why I see it similar to le beau instead. The sillage it's not as strong, I can tell but, overrall for the price point it's very good clone. I'd say 90% similar to the le beau line, having the weird mix between an opening like le beau le parfum and the dry down of le beau edt

For me it smells about 85% close to le beau le parfum but my scent may not be as well since I have not a big collection but I do have le beau and I can say I really only smell coconut and vanilla from le beau and glacier is more sweet to me and you can defintly smell those three notes in it. I would say it smells better then le beau. but doesnt last very long I get about 3 to 6 hours with 5 sprays defintly would overspray for clubbing or summer. But its great

I’ve yet to try the original LBLP.. but here’s my thoughts. Blasts of coconut and pineapple in the opening and as it starts to dry down it becomes powdery while maintaining a solid amount of the sweetness. Creamy and milky.. and may be too cloying for hot summers? Lasts for around 6-8 hours on skin and in the heat, it can definitely project loudly for 1.5hrs. For the price I paid, it’s solid. Just may be a bit too sweet for my taste.

Writing a second review now that i spent more time with the original, some comments say this has some thing rancid in there and i have to agree, there's something fishy about this fragrance, a friend and i noticed right away but the thing is that the original LBLP also has this eggy fishy kind of smell that ngl smells like s*men. Im gonna guess it's the coconut accord, but if you can get past it this fragrance smells good in the air.

Incredible fragrance. The highlight is the dry down which on warm skin radiates this dense, sweet, tropical vibe. While dense it doesn't last too long and I found myself reapplying every 3-4 hours while mall shopping. It get's a lot better with time so don't be spraying this within the first week and thinking it's bad. Do your first initial 10 sprays, wear it normally and over time smell it evolve into something wonderful.

I have a decant of Le beau le parfum, and it is quite similar. However, the main difference is that glacier bold is a little lighter while the original is more dense and richer. But not comparing glacier bold to anything, it is an addictive coconut with pineapple and the classic JPG tonka bean. It lasts around 6 hours, with good projection. For $20 there isn't really much better you can get 8.2/10

Had this macerating for about 6 weeks. Initial thoughts upon arrival weren't much. But today I sprayed it before popping out to the shops. I had a lady approach me saying, "You smell gorgeous, what is it? "! She then walked past me again making a vocal inhale to get another sniff of it haha. It's a dead ringing banger for LBLP. Tropical coconut summer sensation!

Smells very good. Not sure what all these people in the comments are saying that "it smells bad" because this is probably 90% similar to the original. Bought it in November of 2024 and straight out of the box it smelled soooo good. Very coconutty and tropical smell to it. Highly recommend especially for such a low price.

I have both this and le beau, the similarities are very close, the coconut and bergamot are both very sweet in here, the only difference being that Glacier Bold doesn’t have that JPG DNA. Overall very good if you want a cheap Le Beau get this.

I bought it a few days ago, It is very successful in terms of scent, longevity is good for a summer perfume, I think the spread is not that good or I do not smell it, It is 85% similar to Le Beau Le Parfum. My rating for this is 8.5/10

For me i didn't smell the original one, but i really really like the smell of this one, i spray it on my arm just to smell it from time to time, just to know it doesn't project much it stays very close to you, overall i love it.

Smells very tropical and dense. If Khdlaj Island was the edt, this would be the edp. I now own 3 clones of it and this ones probably the best. It for sure is the longest lasting

This is my favourite perfume. Every time i wear it i get compliments. Super youthful and fresh and sweet. On my winter jacket i can still smell it after a week.

#737 in my "Tour de Fragrance" At first this seems a pretty solid dupe of Jean Paul Gaultier "Le Beau" EDT. Of course the coconut and pineapple disappear in a couple of hours as citrus and tropical notes tend to do. Powdery tonka is what you mostly have left by lunchtime. So the performance is on the underwhelming side. But if we're honest the performance of the Le Beau EDT itself is underwhelming. It's why despite that I love JPG scents I've yet to purchase a second bottle of any of them. And I suspect after the Glacier sits on the shelf for a few months it will improve as Alhambra scents tend to do. Given I paid $18 for Glacier Bold and the Le Beau EDT is $120, I feel pretty damn good about this purchase.

Side by side with JPG, it's not as good, but on its own without comparing the two it's excellent. The atomizer sucks and it has a bizzare opening, I'm not sure how to describe it. Very chemical alcohol scent. However, after about 30 min it settles down into a nice creamy tonka bean, vanilla scent with a subtle coconut. I enjoy it. Not my favorite scent but if you don't want to spent JPG money this is a good enough clone for the price

This is such a warm weather BANGER! The fragrance has this powdery aspect to the tropical tonka that makes this way more versatile than a summer vacation scent. As mentioned in some other comments, this does get better and stronger with some time on the shelf. Needles to say I am very impressed, especially at only $22 CAD. Performance and projection are pretty good now. (7/10)

W clone of JPG LBLP. And performance is nearly same as the og. Tonka and coconut sauce in a vanillic and smooth manner. I have barely anything left in the bottle from using it all up in the summer, will keep in my next spring/ summer rotation. Edit: got me another dupe and now this is the second best.

I got it yesterday at first it smelled good and smelt it all around the house but today after applying outside the house it didn’t perform well at all and that im back home and reapplied it its been a couple hours and it still smells good

I've smelt le beau parfum before and they smell exactly the same if you want le beau buy this its the same thing but 100 dollars cheaper usd, it probably does not last as long as le beau though. Just coconut tropical summer

Not gonna waste your time after one year of owning it the smell does change after a couple of months fir the better now its more powdery and tonka the performance and silage are both mid lasts about 3 hours fir 3 sprays

Comes quite close to JPG Le Beau Le Parfum, but is sweeter, less creamy and less coconut. What I like. More fruity, more sweet. 85% close.

First try, it is not super close to original. I would say ~60%. Will let it macerate and hopefully it improves.

TLDR: not a great dupe of Le Beau Le Parfum. Out of 25 full bottle purchases, this was the only "miss" that i did not like, especially from Lattafa (Maison Alhambra), which has put out banger after banger. I purchased it in May 2024 and was not impressed. It has since sat on my shelf with a slight dent of about 80%, all from me trying to wear it occasionally and regretting not wearing something else that day. I am honestly trying to sell it, even for $10-$15, because i will never want to wear it again. The opening is alright! It has a standard bergamot citrus note you've smelled a million times before, plus some pineapple. But on the dry down is what kills it for me; it becomes SO weird on my skin: like pineapple chapstick, but way more of the chapstick (specifically camphor, which is what gives chapstick or petroleum jelly its scent). Let me reiterate that there is NO coconut creaminess in this. It is not dense like LBLP. very faintly tropical, but if I was handed this bottle without knowing what vibe it is going for, I would not describe it as tropical. I would say it is lightly fruity with some weird ambery camphorous dry down I let a few people smell this, and they weren't sure what to say other than they do not like it either. I did eventually get to smell the real JPG Le Beau Le Parfum and they were miles ahead of this and couldn't be more different. Honestly, if you are going for a Le Beau vibe, just get Najdia Intense or Kaheela Platinum because at least you will smell like tropical coconut. I have tried several times to give it wearings but i mostly spray into the air on my desk and each time i let out the same "mehhhh" sound. so incredibly mid. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!! Scent profile is a 5/10 - not offensive by any means but also not alluring, charismatic, or tropical like the OG Performance: 6/10 - on the weaker side, even after sitting for almost a year. I would spray on my hand & wrist and it was gone after about 4-5 hours. Boooooo!!! Again, the ONLY purchase I regret in my small collection. This is the fragrance that made me find a few sample websites for Middle East clones to avoid blind buy mishaps. I could have paid $3-$4 for a 2mL sample on fragrantika.net and realized it wasn't for me then avoided this catastrophe of a dupe. Now i am stuck with finding some other schmuck to take it off my hands

Smells like LBLP I'm the air, up close on my skin is a mess though, smells like something rancid in there. I just received it today and got the maceration cycle started, I will update in a few weeks, but for now it's a 4/10.

i’ve smelt both and wow...this stuff is almost 100% identical, of course it doesn’t have JPGs signature DNA but it still smells amazing. I’m going to do some longevity tests and probably macerate it

It is reasonably close to it but differs significantly in adding more citrus and a stronger aromatic fougere herbal note than the original. This actually makes it a lot fresher than the original it is cloning which some find cloying due to the sweetness. Glacier bold blends sweet, citrus, vanilla, coconut, and herbal aromas into a nice hybrid fragrance that crosses the aromatic fougere and gourmand styles. This is a pretty fun fragrance and is great for use in warm weather. Younger users should particularly like though it's good for older users as well. It's also unisex and would work well on women thanks to the sweet vanilla and dry coconut araomas. I wouldn't recommend it for more serious or somber occasions or to those who don't like sweet fragrances. Performance is average, feel free to overspray and respray throughout the day. This is a good value for the price and an easy recommend, especially if you like the Le Beau DNA.

It's not super close to the og, but this is still a good fragrance. It reminds me of tropical flavoured hard candy. It performs moderately, leaving much to be desired in terms of longevity, but it projects well for about an hour to two hours, then goes to a skin scent for another hour or two then it's gone with the wind. This would be great for if you're going to the beach or a pool and want something tropical to get you in the mood, but longevity doesn't matter as it's just going to get washed off in the water. Overall 6 out of 10 as its not very close to what it's supposed to be cloning. Yet it's still very enjoyable.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!!! I've had this for three months now and I've tried so hard to like it but just can't. Smells like a store or dentist office. I have not smelled any other LBLP clones but I doubt you can do worse than this. It's light, linear and unappealing (not disgusting). This should not be sprayed on humans. Decent air freshener at best. For the money, find another cheapie. Scent: 4.2/10 Projection: 5.1/10 Longevity: 5.98/10

I've had this one and sold it as i kind of got tired of it but recently decided to buy Le Beau Paradise Garden and oh man they're close, at least in the winter because Paradise Garden seems 5-10% fresher but nothing significant, i'm quite pissed at how close they are tbh but i'll need to test this one further tho if these are so close right now, i'm pretty much left out with an expensive bottle just because its Jean Paul Gaultier written on it.

Got this as my first arab perfume and im so happy with the result,at first it smells like pineapple then turn into sweet coconut with tonka bean with musky vibe, for sillage it strong for the first 30 minutes project for the first 80 minutes and last around 7 hours on my skin if you don't care about projection maybe you should get this fragrance its really good sweet and good
