Infini Oud

I am a massive lover of real authentic oud attar. I heard great things of infini oud and badee al oud. I chose infini based on reviews saying it was more woody and less sweet. The moment I sprayed it I got a massive woody oud with a subtle lavendar sweetness. The lavendar and nutmeg keeps it from going too animalic. I love animalic, barnyardish oud like laotin and cambodisn oud. This isnt a smoky pud like Indian Assam. This reminds of the woody swetter ouds found in Indonesia(Sambawa) or Borneo. Some compare it to Haltane, but i found haltane a very generic woody fragrance. Infini Oud pulls a much stronger oud accord. While I wouldmt consider this a powerful middle eastern oud scent, it definitely is a "western oud" with some more traditional oud leanings. Its not oud attar, but it isnt ultra western takes like TF Oud Wood. It kind if balances both spectrums nicely. It worls ib the west and definitely in the middpe east as well. Its great for someone who wants to venture more towards an authentic oud experience with western elements still taming its core. The longevity is exceptional 10+easy. On clothes im sure even longer. Moderate sillage. This is great for cold weather and day or night. I find it balanced enough, it could work in early spring. The pricd is great.

You have to let this scent mature. When I first got it 2 weeks ago it was weak. Wore it today and it lasted a lot longer and smelled quite a bit better. Big fan of oud scents and this is no exception. 9/10. Update: after letting this sit for longer the longevity improved by quite a bit. Lasts a long time now and is pretty strong. You have to let this one macerate. I'm gonna assume it's only gonna get better with more time. Another update: I now own oud for glory as well. To me they're 99 percent to each other. They both have similar performance as well. I will say this needed maceration and oud for glory was great straight away.

Oud fragrances are an acquired taste. My top 2 favorite oud ones of all my 100 + frags are Infini Oud and Exclusif Oud. Both are very classy, manly, elegant, dressed up frags. To me, both are somewhat similar, but not quite. I prefer to use them on cold weather and formal occasions. I prefer Infini Oud to the original or Oud for Glory because it lacks the saffron note, which is another acquired taste, that I did not acquire yet. In conclusion, I don't consider Infini Oud a Middle East type of fragrance, it can be loud if you over spray, it smells quite expensive, and it's not for kids in geans looking to hook up with 20+ ladies.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! I did a side by side comparison to Initio Oud for Greatness and liked the Infinity Oud much better. Initio had a sharp menthol- pine note that was too strong for both my husband and I. Infinity Oud is much nicer, it’s perfect for Christmas time. I will say, this is definitely more masculine/ mature than feminine, but pair with your favorite basic sweet vanilla fragrance, (I recommend DUA: Marshmallow Dream), and it’ll smell more unisex and divine. Considering the price, this is a 10/10 for me!

One more amazing alternative for Oud for Greatness. Can't decide which scent I like better - this or Glorious Oud French Avenue. Both are gorgeous. BTW, performance of Glorious Oud is notably better.

I bought this as a replacement to my bottle of "Badee-al-Oud Oud for Glory". It definitely isn't as strong or as long-lasting as "O-F-G". I wear this less often compared to "O-F-G" and for some reason it just doesn't have the same warmth or depth. I like the DNA of this type...but not THIS iteration of it. I will find a better version or just go back to a bottle of "Badee-al-Oud Oud for Glory".

Soft oud, smells ok if you like middle eastern fragrance.

It isn’t bad, but Oud for Glory is superior in every aspect. As you would expect, both fragrances basically smell identical - Infini Oud isn't as heavy on the oud/patchouli, but honestly it's such a marginal difference that it feels like I'm reaching. I remember having this project well at first, but quickly fading to a skin scent and dying out by 4-5 hours in. Overall, I just think OFG is higher quality and the better purchase, considering they are usually the same price. This is serviceable but probably the worst option if you like this DNA. 3/10.

COMPARED TO INITIO ITS CLOSEST IN SCENT PROFILE - LACKS PERFORMANCE THOUGH. BADEE AL OUD / OF GLORY ON THE OTHER HAND LESS CLOSER IN SCENT PROFILE TO INITIO PROBABLY DUE TO BEING LESS SPICY COZ OF VANILLA MAYBE HOWEVER BANG ON PERFORMER. (MAY NEED MACERATION)

Smoky, dark, warm but not sweet, spicy but not overly so. More masculine than unisex, for a confident and mature man. Not as loud as Initio OfG and that's a good thing. Great value for the price.
