Jean Lowe Azure

Right out of the gate, this is a lovely bright citrus bomb. A blast of orange and mandarin with just enough lemon lurking in the background to sharpen everything up a little. It is not a juicy candied orange type fragrance either. This feels fresher and cleaner, almost floral, but not in a feminine way. More citrus zest and lemongrass than orange blossom, if that makes any sense whatsoever. Performance is pretty mid, but honestly that is not the fragrance's fault. That is the fault of whatever sick, sadistic monster designed the laws of aroma chemistry and decided citrus notes should evaporate into the void after a few hours. Citrus deserves to be an eternal base note and I am still furious at the bastard responsible for making it a top note 🙄. Reapplication is absolutely required throughout the day. This is the sort of fragrance I would happily keep in my desk at work, or in the car if the weather permits, just so I can keep topping it up whenever the citrus starts waving goodbye, I got maybe 2-3 hours of it today, while spraying moderately, could likely get more of I bathed in it, but who cares, it's so damn cheap I can spray it as much as I want with little to no consequence financially! The bottle is perfectly acceptable for £20. The weird plastic stem around the cap that tries to imitate the glass rim on a Louis Vuitton bottle does make it feel a little cheaper than it otherwise would, and I wish they had done a better job with that. On the plus side, the atomiser is genuinely excellent, better than a lot of designer fragrances that cost several times more. Overall, this is a solid summer buy and £20 very well spent. Fresh, clean, refreshing and easy to wear. Louis Vuitton can eat my entire ass in a Denny's car park if they think I am paying £320 for the original when this exists 🤷🏼

Just picked this up on Amazon for about $25 bucks. @JusttheFactsMan has a pretty descriptive review, but I don't entirely agree with him. This fragrance does have staying-power especially for a freshie because of the ginger and amber. The scent is most easily described as a "candied orange". This smells like you are eating a candied orange and chilling in a natural spring at the same time. It manages to keep that freshly peeled tangerine smell (like you just ate one of those small "cuties") around for an impressive amount of time. This is synthetic, and to be fair, if you want a freshie with staying power, it has to be. But it's not an unpleasant synthetic fragrance. Also, this does smell like Turathi Blue, but like its cousin. They went different directions in life, Azure is more orangy and not as masculine and bitter as Turathi. This is more relaxing, and not as "rich" or intense. Overall: I like it! I'll give it an 8/10 for now. Going to be wearing it to the gym this winter and we'll give it some wear during the spring and summer. If you like Turathi Blue, you'll like this.

Instantly likeable fresh, citrus-forward and very slight spice. Uplifting and simple. I had this for months before making it to a LV store and trying AS. My wife, who is not into fragrances as a hobby, was with me and she smelled AS and said "Wait, don't we have this one? This smells just like ours at home." So, she was referring to Azure which we have. I can certainly distinguish the nuances and differences between AS and Azure, but to the untrained nose they smell near identical. This is one of those clones that gets pretty darn close legitimately, not hype train influencer BS. The value here is huge for Azure. Given it's such a simple fragrance to begin with a skilled perfumer can easily pull this one off. Longevity is mediocre, happy to over spray this one as it's not a projection bomb. Works great as a layering fragrance to if you want to add to fresh orange citrus on top. Highly recommend this one as a super affordable, safe, uplifting citrus scent.

Having sampled AfSw through lv when I got imagination back in 2021 this smells great 👍 I don't get all the negative reviews because this nails the scent so far in the opening upon applying. Its a fresh, tart almost powdery orange that is a very unique and a refreshing citrus fragrance that louis vuitton of course does a much better scent profile with their price point, however I care more about longevity and projection and this one seems to be a little bit louder than AfSw. I love this scent personally so my own score might be a little bias. 9/10 scent. 7/10 Longevity. Afternoon swim does not last or project like imagination so this is to be expected. Next one coming in for me is Immortal and that one seems to be the most talked about. So far I'm happy with maison alhambra making expensive scents much more affordable and not making them smell alcoholic or awful on the initial spray.

Nose Note #554 Odyssey Limoni Fresh by Armaf - is one of my favourites. I haven't tried Afternoon Swim and probably will never allow myself to splash out even on a sample. If Limoni is more feminine, this one is more masculine, but it's still a unisex fragrance for sure. This is much less sweet than Limoni, but it still has a beautiful, gorgeous citrus accord that intrigues me. Imagine Bvlgari Tygar, but made carefree and unisex. If you like Bleu de Chanel and Tygar, you'll love this (I hope). At least I do. The OG apparently doesn't boast of great performance, so you can't blame this one on being just about average. "Synthetic", "grandma", "old perfume", "the worst". What?! I've only had 500+ fragrances, so I'm not the most experienced, but I don't see where people are coming from with these comments. 8/10, a very safe bet

I agree with @xaarth it's either Feminine Nor masculine (Maybe masculine in the opening since he stated that women rarely wear limony scents) It is in the realm of Fresh not potent ,just Gentle on the nose, Gentle Smell of soapy ambergris @Blindbuyqueen one of those scents that i like too much that i dont wear(still cold where i live) instead i just put spray's on the palm of my hand and Enjoy it, Today wore it.my Mother and sister Rushed towards me asking me what is this smell, to their nose it smelled feminine.That must have been the final dry down ,the soapy ambergris. I love it either ways to the point i got another back up Bottle. one last thing. the best way of knowing if you are going to like a perfume or not,is by testing it, your nose is the ultimate judge.

This fragrance is great. Not only for the price, but in general terms, it is just great. I have grown quite fond of citrus/ginger combos for the summer weather, which is over 7 months long in Texas. I cycle through a few different bright beasts, but this one has been a standout performer just based on the scent alone. Performance in terms of longevity and projection leaves a bit to be desired, unsurprisingly. I doubt it has much more to do with anything besides the nature of the scent profile and ingredients, but that’s the only caveat I have here. It is now among my favorite post-shower spritzers. The price at which this can be found is another reason I rate this 8.5/10. If I could just get 2 more hours out of it, the stars would be aligned.

I'm on my 2nd bottle. What are you getting if you purchase this? Great price. Great fragrance, very addicting. It's not overpowering. Fantastic skin scent. Not a ton of projection after the 1st hour. You really should overspray this, but that's ok since it's like 25 bucks. Over spraying will help with the projection, longevity, silage - etc. Will get you compliments. Amazing scent to be fresh out of the shower morning or night. Mass appealing. Beautiful orange notes. I've reviewed this before. I think some people might be disappointed and call it watered down or whatever, but for 25 dollars you really cannot find a better option. Just over spray the heck out of this and enjoy smelling good. This fragrance will always be in my rotation.

Just a great, pleasing fragrance. Very clean, fresh, with the orange notes standing out for me. The fragrance projects well in the first 4 hours, but I do hit myself from head to toe with 20 to 30 sprays. I get about 6 to 8 hours on my skin. and keeps the opening. Yes - you probably have to overspray. Yes - you will probably blow through a bottle of this quicker than most. Yes - it smells amazing and is addictive. No - it's not 1:1 of the LV. Yes - it's pretty close. Yes - this only costs about 20 bucks. Yes - I would definitely recommend this even as a blind buy. There's a lot to love about this fragrance that was done really well. My fiance and I both love it!

This is a clone of LV afternoon swim. It's about 90% accurate. LV is marginally smoother and projects much better, but if you can get over the first 5 minutes it's identical after. This opens pretty harsh for the first 5 minutes with a very chemical citrus and ginger. Smells like scented bleach. Eventually it settles into a light, airy orange scent. The sweetness is subtle and perfect. They really get the watery note of afternoon swim right. This only lasts a couple hours, and the projection is bad. But at 1/10 the price I'm happy to over spray. The bottle I got also smelled horrible for the first 2 days until it had time to macerate.

The rating of this fragrance here must be some kind of bad joke. This is a 10/10 clone of Afternoon Swim. It lasts exactly as long as the original (4-5 hours), has the same degree of projection and smells identical to it. Do we need anything else? Am I missing something? 4-5 hours of longevity falls into the “moderate” category. I guess some people just like to rate things without even trying them out at least once. Basically, Azure is a fresh, uplifting summer fragrance. It opens up with a prominent mandarin note which transitions into a nice orange note during the drydown. Nothing crazy, yet insanely accurate as a clone.

They did a really good job with Azure. I own Afternoon Swim and I must say this is very close to it. I’ve done a side by side test and also a full wearing of this and I’ll be honest a few times I felt like I just had my Afternoon Swim on. It also performs very well on my skin and does even better on clothing. I sprayed down with 7-9 sprays after my evening shower and was still catching faint whiffs of it in the air by morning. From the Afternoon Swim dupes I’ve tried this is the most accurate so far with Pinnace Oryn trailing right behind it. For the price point I think this fragrance is most definitely worth it.

Amazing frag, it opens up with a punch of mandarin then dries down into a tangy, sweet and sour orange. Its a very airy and refreshing fragrance, my go to frag after a shower or when im just sitting at home. Longevity is pretty bad, but thats par for the course with these airy citrus frags, and the price is so reasonable that it doesnt hurt your pockets to overspray/reapply every so often. Very linear fragrance, it lacks complexity for sure, but in a way I really like. Some moments just dont call for a complex, multi-layer fragrance. This scent really reminds me of an ice cold lemonade on a hot day.

A pleasant citrus fragrance built around lemon, orange, and mandarin. It is refreshing and great for warm weather However, the scent is ultimately a very simple mix of citruses, lacking depth or evolution, and it becomes boring quickly. Longevity is also poor, fading fast and requiring frequent reapplication. *edit 17/2/26* after using it a lot in the last weeks and letting it macerate I ended up loving it, the citrus combination is really nice, refreshing and summery and I really like this orange peel-aquatic vibe. The performance is still bad though, but the scent is awesome 8/10

Leaving my second review on Azure after spending a couple months with it now. This is by far the best and closet Afternoon Swim dupe there is currently in my opinion.. and thats coming from someone who owns Afternoon Swim as well. I like the scent profile so much I set out to purchase many inspired by fragrances to satisfy my needs to get more of this scent profile. Out of all the ones I tried this one reigned supreme in all aspects, this stuff is absolutely amazing for the price and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an inspired by Afternoon Swim fragrance.

Got the bottle in today, first impression, very nice and spicy citrus notes at the start. Once it dries down the ginger really starts to come out. The projection and longevity for me is alright nothing to be impressed too much about but the smell is great. I have never smelt the original Afternoon Swim because i have not been able to go to a LV store before so i cant say much on how well it replicates it. I will have it sit for a couple weeks and see if it gets any better in the longevity or smell. Great pickup that definetly will be my daily for summer.

This one is for those who enjoy subtle scent and not to make a statement. Sweet orange brightness will be there only for first hour and that's the projection duration of this if it has any to others. After that this will just stick to your clothes for around 8 hours which you will notice as a faint sweet citrus with green tea similar to Elizabeth Arden Green Tea. This end up with something i would call a dry Apricot kind of scent. Really enjoyed this one after a few wears. Good for everyday summer fragrance. Really good quality in this price.

I own Montagne’s Afternoon Dive which is already very close to the OG, and this one seems identical to Afternoon Dive. I don’t get any overwhelming ginger or synthetic orange notes. My bottle out of the box smells very balanced, and honestly very good! Both Immortel/immortal and Azure are impressive clones. Get yourself one now if you want something effortless for the summer and let it age. It’ll be like a fine wine by the time summer arrives. I just got a 12 hours day out of it with 5 sprays and its still detectable. The value is insane!

For what this costs, and the scent profile, $30 is all you need to spend. Virtually IDENTICAL to Afternoon Swim. There is nothing special about Afternoon swim and its scent profile, that demands a $300 price tag, other than the name on the bottle. That is what you are paying for. Put that same juice in a Boss Bottled flanker, and it would be at discounters for $65 until discontinuation in a year. (I've worn Afternoon Swim, and it too suffers from lackluster longevity on my skin)

Just got this two days ago. Read so many bad reviews but know the Lattafa brand, more specifically the Jean Lowe line. So I decided to get it. I’m ordering two more after this comment. I walked outside in the cold, 45 degrees and a coworkers who knows I’m a fan of the LV line said, hey what’s the new cologne you have. Has to be a Louie Vuitton. I got home after 4 hours of spraying and my wife asked me. You have a Louie on? So yes. Get it.

buy this one guys im serious, probably the best summer scent I have ever smelled. The citrus the freshness and cleanliness im speechless. dont expect it to be a beast mode frag with mofo sillage and longevity. For me the sillage is lasting about the same as the longevity and projection is not wauw. But hey afternoon swim is literally the same, so you can't really expect it to be better. Maison Alhambra really nailed this one. 10/10

Very nice minty (I say minty, but my gf says it is a "clean citrusy" smell), clean aquatic/citrus scent that smells unique, but isn't the kind of "unique" where it is polarizing. Very fresh, with moderate sillage. This is absolutely a scent that will make you recognizable in a crowd! Cheap too. Whenever I first got a decant of this, I lost it, and I was pretty upset! It is the only cologne I've had where I felt that way, LOL! 9/10

Some say it doesn't resemble turathi blue I think he hasn't tried turathi blue before, and I think he's wrong. The reason is that the opening only resembles turathi blue . Notice the likes on turathi and you'll know. 👍😉 The perfume is beautiful, its durability on the fabric is excellent, but on the skin it is average to weak, and the beauty of the scent is 9 out of 10, and its scent is sweet orange.

It smells very nice; solid warm weather scent. You get hit with a ginger/citrus blast upon spraying, but it calms down pretty fast. Unfortunately, even with about 10 sprays or more, it remains very, very subtle. Which is a pity, because the dry-down scent is orange-y with a hint of tea as well, a combination that’s very appealing. So: yes it smells nice, but even for a €20 bottle, it has no ‘aura’.

Even before masterbation it was smelling nicely but had super poor longevity, after the masternbation it smells super nice, fresh And sweet like some targarine Fanta + Sprite type freshness, Def recommending for summer but the longevity is still an issue, but i guess its bcs of citruses being weaker overall. But the smell is really addicting And can be worn by man And woman (only genders)

Very linear scent. The opening is a huge ginger bomb with marine undertones. The ginger subsides on the drydown and the scent turns into, as you might imagine, like a swimming pool. Honestly not bad. Preformance is meh otherwise would be a really good fragrance. If you want a weaker scent that you don't have to worry about smoking out a room, it's solid. Good gym scent. Overall 7/10

I use it mostly in the office and gym. Great smelling, pleasant and non-offensive smell. I regularly catch whiffs of it when I move around 5-6 hours long, after that it mostly becomes a skin scent. It actually puts a smile on my face every time I smell it. Never smelled LV Afternoon Swim before, so can't tell if it is close. I bought it for 30 euro, so great price / value.

All these fake reviews piss me off. I get people hate on clones but come on guys get a life. This is an absolute gorgeous fragrance and the performance is above average. The citrus is so good in it and i love orange fragrances. 10/10. The only reason this has a 3.7 rating is because of the trolls. If not for them I guarantee this would be at 4.7.

I love the smell of this. Unfortunately this is the worst performance of any clone or dupe I’ve tried. Literally two hours at best. But the smell is heavenly so you can just carry a decant or the bottle to reapply. It may be the perfect summer fragrance. Very juicy orange with amazing freshness. It’s not aquatic but it will give you that vibe.

Okay we re getting close to afternoon swim w this one - Starting w the scent, very similar just a tad bit more bergamot at the start, scent is incredible good. getting wiffs of the fragrance on myself ,especially a lot in the first 1-2 hours, but after 3-4 hours the whole smell also up close is gone (To be expected w the swim DNA) 9.5/10

This smells just like afternoon swim, but it doesn’t last any near the og. I sprayed a tester of afternoon swim on one arm and Azure on the other. I can still smell afternoon swim after 4 hours and Azure is completely gone. Now this is a brand new batch 6/25 don’t will have to macerate for a while so I’m hoping it will be better

This is incredible, the price is even more incredible, my type of smell, I want to drink it😊 I have not smelt LV's Afternoon Swim, so I can't compare but I don't care, this fragrance is better than most expensive juice's out there. I will spray spray spray in the summer. Better stock up on a few more before they go for good.

I've been wearing it for 2 days and my first compliment today was at the pool where I work. A lady I work with said someone smells really REALLY good. Great summer youthful smelling scent citrus doesn't last over 2 hours on my skin before maceration but the ginger lasts upward of 5. Great affordable dupe of afternoon swim.

I like it. Its fresh and a bit creamy like turathi blue. The opening seems a bit more citrusy and less creamy then turathi blue. I like this scent profile, so for me its a good one. So far its not that long lasting and/or powerfull, this might change like it does with some other fragrances. 7.5/10 for now.

Imagine you're in a southern California suburb, relaxing in your garden sounded by orange trees while you pick a fresh orange while sipping on a soft ginger tea on a calm summer afternoon, this is that, that is this. Straight out of the bottle it's pretty good, def will use this for summer.

It is a complement magnet for me I wear it to the office and out and I have both females and males asking what I am wearing and as far as longevity I get decent performance from it between 6 to 7 hours and then it gets closer to the skin but I still catch whiffs of it after that.

id say its less sharp as afternoon swim but still great. 88% Similar. When I compared them side-by-side, I could tell a bit of a difference in the first 10 minutes. However when I wore it the next day without an afternoon swim by the side, I couldn't really tell a difference.

For all the people saying this is weak. For me this is one of the strongest freshies i have. Not sure if it's just my bottle but I get 2 to 3 hours of good projection. My skin normally doesn't hold fragrances well so I was surprised with this one. It gets a 9.5/10 from me.

I don’t understand what these trolls get out of rating these new releases so low when they haven’t even tried it. This is easily one of my favourite summer scents for the day time. Was expecting another generic citrus designer smell but boy was I pleasantly surprised!!

This fragrance smells almost exactly like the the OG Afternoon swim. Even if people say that the longevity is “bad”, so is the OG, which smells like peeling a mandarine and its scent fading away. I liked this, even though I’ve always hated on dupes.

I get fantastic performance out of my bottle for a freshie. This is a fantastic summer scent that will definitely be at the top of my rotation. I'd highly suggest getting jean lowe vibe as well. It's just as good as this.

I love this fragrance. It opens up more lemony than afternoon swim, but after a little wait on skin, it becomes the sweet orange. It's a sharper, and, in my opinion a better version of afternoon swim. Also blind buy safe.

I've had this 2 weeks now and am happy to report the performance is fantastic for a blue freshie. The sillage is strong and borderline enormous and longevity is long lasting. I'm not a freshie guy but this is gorgeous.

Compared it with a afternoon swim decant and couldn't tell the difference, this was even a bit louder. Smells like you took a orange peel and a lemon peel and sprayed the zest on your face in the best way possible.

Reminds me of LV Afternoon Swim. Beach and vacation, warm weather. 5 stars on quality, moderate performance. Would I buy it again? Yes! It is a great summerscnet you won't regret - Pricing between $20-30

The most inoffensive mass appealing smell there is. Such a phenomenal scent, shame it's gone as soon as you leave your house, but it wouldn't smell the way it does if it wasn't like that.

The last comment states this is like turathi blue. This is not like turathi blue. Alhambra already has a clone like that and it's bronzite. This is a clone of afternoon swim from lv.

As soon as I got it, it smelled like lemon cleaner, but after about a week it smells amazing like ginger and a smooth orange and lemon, doesn’t last long tho, great blind buy

Really close to afternoon swim like 80%. For the price, a no brainer. Opening might be a bit harsh but settles quickly. Has a nice water note. Like swimming in the pool.

30 bucks and it smells fantastic. Right out the box, yes it was a little hot so I feel it'll only get better, it smells like a nice sweet orange. Its a no brainer.
