Absolutely incredible. When I first got it, I didn't like it and thought it was very generic and a bit harsh. But letting it sit and mature has done wonders. The scent has really blossomed, and over the past year as I have worn it more and more, I've really grown to appreciate it and it's become a go to for the office and important meetings. A year later, and I get 12+ hours of longevity, and a fragrance that is 1:1 with the PDM original. Well worth the wait, and overall a great value. I wish that it didn't need such a long time to mature, but the results have been worth it.

So I've had this thing for many months. I didn't really understand the appeal at first because it seemed like a clash of spices and amber and with hints of 540 which seemed out of place. I don't think my bottle had to mature, my nose did instead. This is now addictive musk, pepper, semi sweet amber and dry woods. I really like it now and it's very infrequent that I change my mind. With the exception of Leyden (ultra weak) i really like each of the fragrances in this line. They all smell really good and do their own thing.

Smells great, never smelled the pdm version but this is nice. I really enjoy the opening. It isn't the longest lasting fragrance but that's ok for 18 bucks I'll respray. 8.5/10 Edit- I now have a decant for pdm kalan. This smells exactly the same. Only difference is it isn't quite as strong but they smell the exact same. With maceration this now lasts quite awhile although not quite as long as kalan. As far as a clone I give this a 9.5/10.

This fragrance is a spot on dupe of PDM's Kalan. I actually think I enjoy it more than Kalan as it is slightly less harsh on the opening.. and I do mean ever so slightly. I only have had it for 2 days now, but if you like Kalan you will like this as an alternative option. I cannot speak to longevity yet, but you can always spray more later if needed. In my honest opinion, this makes having the original unnecessary.

Didn't smell the actual Kalan, but this one smells like Christmas. I absolutely love the Blood orange/pepper synergy. I am definitely wearing this one on holidays, cause it smells like it.

It smells like kalan but who cares anyway? It is better than kalan and costs only 19 bucks! (Sry kalan buyers, nothing personal) Its only weakness is longevity on skin.

its pretty spicy, someone said it smells like bell peppers, i can see that , its good stuff

#874 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is an absolutely outstanding PDM Kalan clone!

easy to recommend if you're familiar with the line. pretty close to the og, little rough around the edges if you were being picky, requires maturation before it gets to the good stuff. average - not above nor below - across all the metrics like longevity, sillage etc. wouldn't call a banger but for the right price it's a solid pickup to have something unique and inoffensive for around the office or strip club.

Don't know Kalan. But first impression was of warm/powdery bug spray! But amazingly nice, addictive bug spray! Keep on smelling my arm where I sprayed tester of bottle I bought. Def leans masculine.... but I am a woman, and plan on wearing this in fall/winter :)

It’s not as in-depth as the original, however, to an untrained nose they smell identical. It did not last more than 30 minutes on my skin but I was happy with the smell

It is a little harsh at first in the opening. But boy!!!! After 2 minutes it is spot on with the original.

First impression, this opens very spicy, like Hot chilli, the blood orange/citrus on the first sniff is nice but fades away pretty fast, this doesn't last long until it dries down to a Lavander, woody/sandalwood and spiced scent. Theres a hint of sweet but not more than 10%. After 1h it does smell better, a slightly Blood Orange/pushed with some fresh spice, a Lavander Clean scent and some Vanilla. I think I like this better now, it is a mixed review. It has some points that make it smell good, but lacks something to make this a great fragrance. I'm getting 4-5h with this, projection is minimal. I can see women wearing this too, specially 40+, this has a BR540 smell to it. Not so much cotton candy but very similar. Actually this feels like BR540 Older brother. 7.5/10

This is an awesome fragrance. Smells almost exactly the same as PDM Kalan. For those of y'all complaining about the performance. Give it time, this has been the longest maceration process that I've had to wait on a clone fragrance. It took 5 to 6 months for it to perform great. At first I was getting at most 4 hours of longevity. Now, I get 12 to 14 hours and that's on my skin. Overall, a great fragrance for the money.

Lovely smell. I love the PDM original which I've smelled in dept stores. This smells just the same. It doesn't last the longest but again that maybe me being nose blind. Beautiful scent, totally recommend.

Dont waste your money....it literally last 1hr on skin (and i have good perfume skin) Weak projection No spice hardly at all The only thing this does right, is capture the earthy/sweet smell 2/10

Kind of smells like if you caught your history professor between lectures right after he's finished a cigarette. He's not handsome but you're still kind of into him because he's wry and affable.

I like bell pepper, this smells just like bell pepper, i dont know how often i want to smell like a bell pepper, but i reach for it anyways...
