Karat

In my humble opinion it smells like Kirke fr. I tested Kirke few times and the problem for me was it's longevity. Yesterday I received a sample of Karat and as far as I can tell it really smells like Kirke. I get a lot of passion fruit, its fresh sour fruity smell that made me want to buy the OG so bad, but as a real baddie on a budget I decided to get ME dupe first to see if it can give me more longevity and projection. This sour fruity smell stays with me till the end and I'm happy about that. I think I got a new batch and longevity is just not there. I sprayed it and after 10 minutes I couldn't smell anything. But as you probably know ME fragrances need some time to sit so I hope it will improve its longevity and projection. Will update you guys after the maturation process if anything changes, but for now I can tell for sure that for that 15$ you get a good (scentwise) Kirke dupe. Bonus point: I asked my brother to sniff Karat and he said that it was good. He said it was sweet, but fresh and he liked it. At the end of the day I love it and if the maturation will go well I may be will considering buying a full bottle. (For your better understanding my perfume preferences I really like Black Opium Le Parfum, but I don't like classic Black Opium. I like Yum Boujee Marshmallow, but Yum Pistachio Gelato- no no. I love Italica from Xerjoff and Hayatti from Attar Collection)

I just bought this today. This was not on my radar. I wanted a summer, fruity, hot weather friendly perfume. I wanted something with - the fizz of yara - yellow fruits (think mango, pineapple) - NO COCONUT - Doesn't make me think of florals - Sweet It was down to mango jugoso to be honest. In the end..I smelled karat. This peach perfume was it. Update 1: When I use this for layering (eg. base layer of YBM + a few spritz on this), I end up spraying more of Karat all over cause it just smells so good. The fizz note, the bright peach being dominant The light and airy-ness of it. (Don't mistake this for the perfume not being strong, this perfume's a strong girl). I did not smell any TEA in this which I do NOT want if i ever got a peach scent. Also, this is good right from the box. No maceration or maturation needed for me. (though i cant wait to see how it develops) It's just a beautiful peach that's not overripe and captures the right amount of tang that's uplifting and perfect for a hot day. Disclaimer it can get pretty musky on the dry down as someone else mentioned, I'm planning to spritz some yara candy to bring back the fizz. I'll update how it goes. (For reference: I like bianco latte dnas, yum bougie marshmallow dna, kayali vanilla sugar, BBW Gingham gorgeous. Karat is different from my usual taste but I do enjoy it)

It is a very graceful fragrance in the truest sense of the word. If you are a lady or if you are a calm and kind gentleman; I recommend to try this one. It has a very mild fruity smell. It is not like some perfumes that have a very thick and very sweet fruity smell. Everything is in balance. You will not get any too much fruit or too much sweetness and harshness from this perfume. A Valium (Diazepam) tablet for your anxious moments. It brings peace and carefreeness to your mind. عطری بسیار ملیح به معنای واقعی کلمه هست. اگر خانم هستید و یا اگر آقای آرام و مهربونی هستید؛ توصیه میکنم که این عطر رو تست کنید. بوی میوه ای بسیار ملایمی داره. مثل بعضی از عطرها که بوی میوه ای خیلی غلیظ و خیلی شیرین دارند ؛ نیست. همه چی در تعادله. هیچ میوه ی زیاد و یا شیرینی زیاد و زندده از این عطر دریافت نخواهید کرد. یک قرص دیازپام برای لحظات پر اضطراب شماست. آرامش و بی خیالی رو به ذهن شما وارد میکنه

You're on a yacht, sipping piña coladas in a bikini while enjoying a fruit platter. My family could easily smell this at 6 feet away from me. It is Carmen Miranda in a bottle. It leans more toward Kirké than Erba Pura. The musk here is not super strong, keeping its fruity freshness throughout. I hope this stays niche and doesn't become as overhyped as Khamrah or Nebras because I can see it being my signature. It smells royal and is underrated. I can't smell the raspberry so much; the peaches come through a bit, but this perfume still holds a distinctly fruity feel. The bottle is so gorgeous and luxurious and feels high-end. It is heavy and elegant. I love seeing this on my vanity. I am deeply impressed with this perfume. You can technically wear it all year, but I think it would shine in summer or spring in tropical climates.

right out of the box it smelled awful, pure alcohol and synthetic vanilla, but after it dries (around 20 minutes) it becomes a lovely, fruity, sweet and enticing scent. notes of mostly sweet and juicy peach with some raspberry and vanilla peaking through . performance is about 4 hour on skin while projecting moderately for about an hour and a half, not terrible for the price but hopefully it improves after maceration. overall: scent 8/10 projection 6.5/10 duration 6/10 sillage 8/10 value 10/10

🤌🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥 #Karat I just received my bottle today an when I say the notes exceeded my expectations even I haven't smelt Kirke or Erba Pura. The top notes in Karat is extremely good and the dry down is everything literally I highly recommend this scent & it's definitely giving summer/ spring & fall

This is better than Amber Oud Gold Edition. It is a fresh fruity fragrance with not too much musk. I mostly get the pear and the passion fruit notes and some sweetness from the vanilla. A love for me!!! ❤️

Supriseingly realistic peach. It's last around 1-2 hours for now, probably after some maceration will last longer. I would say it's unisex. Great fregrance.

Gorgeous bottle, looks and feels expensive. Immediately I smell Pear, Passionfruit, Peach. The musk is there and there’s just a hint of vanilla but it remains really fruity. It’s really sweet, but not cloying because it’s fresh and airy scent. Something about it triggers memories of eating a certain rare fruit from my childhood. It makes me so happy! I suppose it shares Erba Pura’s DNA in that it’s fruity, but that’s where it ends because unlike Erba Pura it won’t slap you across the face with radioactive fruits. It’s more like Kirke it’s a lovely spring/summer scent. Unfortunately it lasts about 30 minutes and I’m left wondering if I actually put on any perfume. EDIT- after letting it macerate for 2 months, the longevity surprises me! Today it lasted 12+ hours on my skin

I don't have such a trained nose to distinguish notes, but this perfume smells nice, sweet but not overpowering. My husband says I smell like sugar. The big downside of this perfume is that it doesn't last at all and when I say not at all I mean it. In fifteen minutes it is completely gone, as if you never put it on. It doesn't last on skin, clothes, or hair! A complete disappointment

Absolutely stunning bottle. Same DNA as Kirké and Erba Pura. When I first got it, it smelled exactly like Erba Pura on me. Very metallic/leathery note to it. Can be very screechy on some. (Like on me) So I wouldn't recommend blind buying this unless you like this screechy/metallic/leathery family. I don't smell any of the raspberry or the other fruity notes, like peach, at all. Around 8-10 months later; Like majority of arabic perfumes, you need to let them sit for a while and macerate. I revisited this perfume again today and it no longer shouts "Erba Pura" to me anymore and leans more towards a juicier fruity Kirké now. I definitely enjoy it more now than I did when I first bought it. It's not exactly my cup of tea, and it's not a warm type of perfume, more cold/cool if that makes sense. (Not talking about how it suits the weather, but if you have to, it makes me think of those colder late summer/transitioning to autumn scents) If you already have Kirké/Erba Pura/Ana Abiyedh/I am the Queen, you don't need this one too. As all 4 of these perfumes are 70-85% similar to each other, same dna. But if you have neither and would like to expend your perfume wardrobe or usually don't have/wear this type of perfume, I think this is an excellent choice to buy. Price is pretty good for the amount you get and the bottle is simply gorgeous.

Passionfruit, peach, raspberries and musk are the stars of the show here. Very sweet at the beginning to the verge of being cloying. Becomes muskier at drydown. Longevity is above average. Feminine leaning because of the floral touches. Haven't sampled Kirke though. Will probably gift this to someone.

Unfortunately, the pleasant fruity aroma disappears quickly. Sometimes some fragrances don't project well on skin but last longer on clothes. This perfume is neither. Too flimsy for me.

Beautiful bottle and packaging. More feminine leaning. It needs to settle down a bit, at least for the first try i did not get good lasting power but after a couple of days it improved and i hope to get even more out of it later. I know i smelled Kirké already but my memories faded - i need to refresh it. Mostly because Kirké for which it is supposed to be a dupe for is said to be similar to Erba Pura which i remember to agree with when trying it. However Karat is not, in my opinion. It reminds me of retro fruity fragrances from the 80’s like Versus Time For Pleasure by Versace or some of the less famous Escada summer flankers with some musky touch to them

We know the difference of Kirke and Erba Pura is quite big, even though they have the same fruity opening. The dry down is totally different, where Kirke still has this fresh fruity quality and Erba Pura will turn more musky. Karat dupes Kirke’s approach; you can trust this perfume to ‘stay fresh’ when it dries down. Proper summer scent or if you lives in tropical countries. It’s beautiful, bright and optimistic.

This is niiicccee. It has that delicious faint rubbery oud in the front. It hits just right with the fruity sweet floral. In the air this smells a little like La Capital. I love it! I can't wait for it to mature!

I like the scent profile although I am really not into fruity fragrances. The first 5 sprays made me doubt about the quality (too light!). Taking time for its maceration.

Karat and Confidential Private Gold by Lattafa are 99.9% the same juice.
