Lava

Ok so this is a new one from a haul of cheapies for my wife mostly. She really enjoyes Pink Shimmer Secret as the daily driver and they were blowing them out at $17.73 CAD. This was also17.73 and apparently suited to my wife's clean tastes. I shot this in the box and she immediately loved it so job well done. So My first impression of this scent , I kid you not was Bowling Shoes!! You know that spray they use for disinfecting and refreshing bowling shoes has, You guessed it. Lavender , Cedar and spearmint. The trifecta of clean. I didn't say "smells exactly like" , I did say "reminds me of. " This is a fresh clean scent and very well done at that. It goes on with clean cool herbal freshness. It's just slightly woody so the dry down gives me a lemon oil feeling huffing it off my wrist. It's a clean masculine non aquatic scent. It's mass appealing without being stale. It goes in the direction of fresh mowed grass, clean airy, well dressed...once again clean. I have tons of scents and being able to get a new scent that does something different is not easy. I don't like freshies in general but this is very tastefully done. I can't speak for clones not do I care. My radar stops on the 17$ and some searching to see if it's my thing. I'm admittedly cheap for frags. This won't change your life or make you crazy but it will come to the rescue in all situations in my opinion. It's a daily driver dumb grab with ambitions of gradeur. Total value in our case and a nice addition to our closet of scents. I dont usually mention the bottle but The mountain range cap is over the top. Maison alhambra is my brand now that I know they have to mature to be awesome. Some of the bottles are unnecessary but for the price you pay they put some pride in their presentation and that alone is very cool from this luxury supplier. I said luxury because they give you more perfume oil per bottle than a lot of the big houses. They're the costco of frags.

Just received today so only a 1st impressions but so far so good. I do get the influence os Percival but I'd say it's about 80% similar so far. Definitely worth buying as its so bloody cheap. I paid £11.39 for a 100ml bottle. I get the Lavender and mint with the Cedar wood. Hopefully once it settles for a while it will start to open up more. Performance is about 5 -6 hrs on my skin with an arms length of projection. At this price who cares. It smells good enough as a daily wearer and won't offend anyone..

Lava was a blind buy based solely on notes. And I can say it was a great blind buy. Fresh, versatile, intriguing. It might be tempting for women to claim it but I would say it's masculine and masculine only. Straight out of the box it was well rounded and matured, it can only get better with time. It was a gift for my 16 year old son and he truly enjoyed it. That said, there is no age range for this juice, it will fit any age. For the price it's a steal.

For the price, you really can't beat this. It's very versatile, can be worn anytime anywhere, from the gym to the office. Completely inoffensive, has decent sillage, and well blended. Highly recommend.

Finally!! I have this since some time now and it’s definitely one of my favorite fresh/green/lavender. Totally unisex in my opinion and the bottle is really nice as well. Love this one 😍

First impressions: opens very fresh and zingy. It's slightly minty but not pronounced as i was expecting, it's a pleasant fresh fruity type of top. Drying down the lavender is a bit industrial. Drydown is lavender woody. Can't give a wholesome review on a new bottle or compare it to Percival, Legend Blue or Fierce. It's a pleasant masculine cologne scent and super cheap but only time will tell if it's a cheap gem or not. So far, 6/10

So this is weird one. It smells good but not for me. It gives me nose headache sadly. For some reason leaves a weird taste in my mouth when I smell it. But it smells good even smells I dont prefer I can get why others like it. I try not to hate. If you like minty woods sharpness this is for you. Very green smelling.

If I could only use 1 word to describe this, it would be "quaint". It's not gonna blow any doors open but the spearmint is rather uplifting and pleasant. Just a lovely, inexpensive and inoffensive fragrance that makes me smile when I wear it.

This is a nice value fragrance. It sits close to the skin and reminds me of freshly applied shaving cream.

Uhh yeah weirdly good considering its as low as 13$ right now. Clearly a Percival style clone, quite oily and lasts really well all things considered. Quality far, far exceeds the pricepoint. I personally prefer it to Legend or Fierce. Definitely sits closer to the actual Percival scent. Doesnt scream off your skin but it stays noticeable for hours, I also got 2 seperate compliments on it the first day I wore it. I think if I were to complain, it feels flat compared to Percival, its missing some brightness and definition, but (its 13 dollars). Its unfortunate that there arent many proper clones of Percival, probably because the Legend series filled the role. Glad to find this one tucked away out of sight. Foolproof DNA and again, much preferable to Legend IMO. If only I could find more this good, this cheap.. the hunt continues..

Honestly in my opinion. If you like something in the line of PDM Percival or even Fierce. Lava is a solid pickup. Now I used those two as reference because Legend Blue while known, it's not as well-known as the other two. This is closest to Legend Blue. I mean like so close you probably won't need to get the OG. Projection is great, Performance is amazing as well.

Not sure if it needs to mature being i just got it but im not getting much of that Percival DNA, it smells like a generic citrusy sweet cologne with a little freshness. Hopefully more of the lavender and mint will develop as it ages.
