Mia Dolcezza Verde

Yay! This is finally listed here on Fragrantica. I like this one more than the original Mia Dolcezza, which I actually just gave away to a friend's daughter. I am definitely keeping this one, though. It's one of only three ME fragrances that have made the cut for me this past year. For me, I feel this could be worn year-round, but it's probably the best in the spring or for a summer night.

This smells very similar to how I remember green stravaganza smelling when I sampled it but as of right now it’s fairly weak and disappears pretty quickly. However, I did only just get it a couple days ago so maybe it’ll improve after a while.

I see that the notes on the Verde perfume on fragrantica are identical to the original Mia Dolcezza ( Bergamot, Blackcurrant and Pink Pepper; middle notes are Ylang Ylang, Jasmine, Tuberose and Orange Blossom; base notes are Cashmere Wood, Vanilla, Guaiac Wood and Amber). On some retailers the notes are these: Top Notes: Citrus Fruits, Green Apple, Bergamot Middle Notes: White Flowers, Jasmine, Sugar Base Notes: Cedarwood, Musk, Vanilla And they're accompanied by depictions of green apples, lemon, bergamot and white flowers. On Notino the notes are different too.. Top: lemon, mandarin, pink pepper Middle: jasmine, lily of the valley, rose Base: amber, cashmere wood, cedar, musk, vanilla. Soooo what's going on..what are the correct notes???? I bet the correct ones are the notes of green apple, bergamot etc provided by independent retailers. And I'm here cuz once upon a time I loved the Green Stravaganza. I believe the correct ones are the 2nd list with the green apple, jasmine, sugar, vanilla, musk. It starts off sweet and fruity like a celebrity scent - in the Bieber's Someday league, minus the fishy red berries accord of that, and progressively it becomes more green and creamier. I don't smell lemon, but I do smell some pink pepper cuz this is dusty in the opening like it's gone stale. It is airy and kinda watery if that makes sense and vanilla dominant, very fruity. The dustiness morphs into an aldehydic bright vibe throughout. It does end up smelling like Green Stravaganza without the intense tea note, so I disagree with the 1st review. I'm a tea lover and Green Stravaganza has so much of it that it smells like a vanilla infused Mon Jasmin Noir L'Eau Exquise by Bvlgari which is my fav green tea scent. In Green Stravaganza I immediately detected the tea and it smelled more herbal. It's still a great alternative. For a real tea- vanilla experience, Thé Vanille by Nette is a top choice or The Dua Matcha Vanille (its affordable dupe). Also Matcha Waffle Ice Cream by the Dua.

To me, this smells so much like Green Stravaganza but with an amplified green tea scent. I really love it so far. If it holds up this way after several hours of wear, I may decide to sell my bottles of Green Stravaganza and purchase full size bottles of Verde instead
