Modern Musk

I looove this! I am really surprised this one doesn’t get more hype because I really think this is a beautiful composition. To my nose, this smells super high class sophistication. I don’t think most people appreciate a good musk as much as I do. This is very well blended, I find it hard to pick up distinct notes, but I get a fresh cut rose, stem and all! I find it overall classy, sexy and feminine. I immediately purchased a back up! I don’t do that lightly because I have so many fragrances! This smells best on skin rather than on clothes. I didn’t need to wait for this to mature, it smells the same a couple months later as it did when it came in. Apparently, this may not be for everyone, but if you appreciate a floral musk, this is worth a try. The price is fantastic and well worth it in my opinion! 11/11/25- wore this the other day and I still think it’s fabulous! It hasn’t changed since I received it! It lasts all day and smells beautiful.

I am trying to let this macerate, but for a month of having it, I just don’t get it. I don’t smell the notes or similarities others have noted. I smell orange blossom and bazooka bubble gum and maybe grape soda. Not really “bad”, but not good and not the notes I expected. Hoping it evolves.

Nothing new. Nothing surprises.

This is only like Miss Dior Cherie if you dialed up the sweet, fruity floral top notes, and dialed down the musky patchouli base notes. I liked MDC (as well as Chloe Nomade, which another user compared this to) because of its earthy dry down, which contrasted with the ultra-feminine top notes, but got none of that here. It remains incredibly sweet, to the point of being cloying. I have had my bottle for about 6 months, and maturation has not changed it at all. Only blind buy safe if you like sugary, fruity florals.

less intense & less musky than Morning Musk. A nostalgic chypre. Agree to the similarity to Miss Dior especially in the drydown. Also to Chloe Nomade. Safe blind buy and suitable for all seasons.
