Monocline 05

This is very nice. Woody and fresh, like a forest. Lasts 4-5 hours with light projection, then dries down to a barely noticeable skin scent. A nice inoffensive, year-around fragrance. Great for the office, meetings, and places you want to wear a fragrance but not be overpowering. I highly recommend this one! For $13 you can't beat it.

This is pretty spot on to Escentric 05, both in scent and performance. For the first half hour, it smells like a gin & tonic with very soft woods. Lasts about 3 hours before turning into a citrusy skin scent. For $13 you can't go wrong, but you'll need to overspray if you want to make an impact.

Feels somewhat coniferous, giving some woody/musky whiffs as well but dries down to an odd pickle water smell when close to the skin. Either masturbation does some wonders or it will be a skip. In the air it's much better though, without pickle

I get it all: the gin and tonic, the pickle juice, and some pine dipped in some cleaning product. I don't absolutely hate it but why would I ever want to smell this way?

PierreLouis bottle masturbation seems to be quite not the best so far, still pickles but this time with a bit more pine, either that or I'm gaslighting myself

I was hoping this would be a dupe of molecule 05 but as stated in other reviews, it is indeed a dupe of escentric 05. darn. smells alright though

Gin and Tonic, Minty Woods. I dig this one alone every now and then, but it goes pretty nice with Encre Noire OG or Sport.

Strong pickled woods. Pine note comes out more like pickles and some musk on dry down. I could have skipped this one, number one and 2 is plenty. I prefer 2 musky woody with no pickles.

This leans masculine to me. It kind of smells like dried saliva to me but not to my son, he said he’d wear it to the gym. As a woman I’m not sure I’d wear this.

I bought this because it was supposed to be simply Cashmeran and I wanted it for layering. The notes here (and elsewhere) are wrong. This is not a molecule 05 dupe. As others have stated it appears to be an Escentric 05 dupe. It smells cheap and citrusy. Not at all like the comforting woody notes you get from Cashmeran. Guess I’ll just buy molecule 05 so I know what I’m getting.

I’m not sure what I was expecting with this one but it’s not at all what I thought it would be. I’m new(ish) to perfumes and figured cashmeran would smell like a fabric the way wool does. Soft. This isn’t intense but it’s not soft as in light and fluffy. That’s on me for not reading the reviews. It smells like what I think a high end limo driver might wear or what tailors would wear at a suit shop. Fancier but not the fanciest. Not the billionaire but the personal and favorite driver of the billionaire. Maybe the personal assistant. Definitely leans decently masculine. Doesn’t scream at you, not flashy. But its presence is not unnoticeable. The person who wears this is probably an introvert but has a unique charm with people. A bit mysterious. Definitely a fragrance where if I hugged a man and it wasn’t over sprayed I would clock it and take interest more than I would’ve without. Not because I love the scent but because it’s unique. More mature. I don’t really picture very young adults gravitating toward this. To be honest I think someone established in their 30’s or 40’s seems appropriate. If I’m honest I also see this being a fragrance a successful man in retirement age with a semi long well groomed beard smelling like this. He likes gin & tonic. He likes bourbon. He wears nice shoes and probably wears a watch. If the grandpa actor from knives out was younger and snazzy that’s kinda what I see. It reminds me of Halston z-14. I haven’t smelled that in over 15 years but immediately my brain went to that. A light and fresh but spicy and woody fragrance. I’m not sure if I’ll keep it but I’ll let it macerate and see if it changes at all. Not disappointed or let down by this at all. - Adding to my other comment I think a rustic cozy cabin gives the vibe of this smell. No neighbors too close but still feels safe. It’s warm and inviting. You drink and get a little buzz and that inner warmth heightens. You look around and see everyone in the cabin all bundled up laughing, playing board games, and you feel at peace. You can’t wait to do this all tomorrow

Very similar to the other Monocline fragrances by Alhambra. Basically, a soft musky woody fragrance that's subtle when worn alone, or adds depth when layered with other fragrances. This one has a stronger woody note than the others. It smells like a mix of cedar, pine, and cypress. This definitely would be fine on its own as a woody fragrance for men. For me, it doesn't work as well for layering since the woods are stronger than the others in the Monocline line...unless you want to add strong woods to your layered fragrance. Average performance. It's a good value at $15.

This is not a molecule 05 dupe. It smells pretty good tho. I have never smelled essentric 05 but I'd assume this is a dupe of that. . again . Not molecule 05 Also I don't get pickles at all from this

Very similar to Escentric 05, personally I love it!
