Niche Royal Rouge

This one to me smells like alien by mugler. I just feel that this one is more deeper kinda thick and is slightly bitter in the beginning. That being said if u love alien by mugler, you will surely love it. It’s a sexy date night fragrance for me. Stunning!! And for the price point- this is just absolutely gorgeous. I got it for $14. The bottle’s very sturdy. Just so worth it.

Wow think I am too timid to wear this. 2 sprays on both arms an hour in silky power flowers yet soft & airy. Next time just 2 sprays ;) really beautiful.

To chime in, I also get a very strong Alien DNA from this but I was hoping for that, since Alien is one of my old favorites and I love collecting other fragrances that are similar. This one to me actually feels much softer than the current Alien formulation, which to me can be very screechy at the opening. Also, surprisingly, I get a soft rose from this. I smell mostly a slight pepper note, jasmine (more in the dry down), rose and ylang ylang ( which is very prominent at the first spray, and sandalwood. I would say it's a more woodsy, slightly more masculine take on Alien, although I know it's duping Rouge Malachite (which is also compared to Alien). Don't get this if you are afraid of strong scents, but it's a definite like from me and coupled with the price = win.

This definitely needs to macerate! When I first opened the box and sprayed it was very sharp, masculine and reminded me of liquor. I was going to sell it because I didn’t like it. I put the listing for it, kept it in its box and left it in a corner. I was cleaning up and saw the box, so I decided to try it one last time and it smells so much better! I definitely see the Alien vibes. It’s very floral and smooth, could be unisex like Rouge Malachite. It changed so much that I decided to keep it. I got it for a great price and its 3.4fl oz so it makes more sense to keep it anyway! Glad I gave it another chance

I never smelled RM so I cannot say anything about their similarities, but I like this fragrance. The opening is very floral and green, but it quickly changes to a sweet creamy scent, almost coconutty, which reminds me of D&G The Only One Intense, and a little sunscreeny. I really like it, very appropriate for spring. After a few months, it's much smoother and creamier than I remember. Still a like!

While this wasn't a "love at first sniff" for me, I can see myself enjoying it more with time. I just got my bottle so it needs to macerate still. Maybe that's why it wasn't enjoyable right off the bat. I'm a huge tuberose lover, and I love Mugler's Alien, which I get Alien DNA in this fragrance as well. So, time will tell but for now, it's a solid "like".

it does smell like Alien ,especially on the dry down. Its prominent tuberose and a slight tropical vibe. BUT in the opening for me it’s less refined Molecule 5 plus tuberose and a tropical vibe, in the dry down it settles down to be more like Alien. Even though Niche Rouge doesn’t have cashmeran note, as Molecule 5, but probably sandal plus patchouli give that effect. Also Niche Rouge reminds me Lattafa Quaed al fursan unlimited white, but less creamy. To me this scent is not wow and at that point i can feel the scent is middle eastern as there’s something different in the quality comparing to lux or niche european and u.s. brands. Probably this needs maceration, but I don’t want to wait for that as I’m not so much into this scent profile in general.

This is a blind buy waiting for me on my doorstep and I’m still at work... and i JUST saw a comment saying it reminds them of Quaes al fursan unlimited!!! NOOOOOOO!!! Please please no!!! I hate that one! It smells like rotten milk! Please tell me that’s not what this smells like! Ok... so now I have it. It is not like my most hated perfume, thank goodness. I have to let this one sit before I can really speak on it. I got a medicinal note yesterday that seems less today so let’s see

Medicinal and heavy on the amber. Dislike. Will sell.

It does not smell like Rouge Malachite at all too me. RM is a warm creamy floral, this one is about saffron, warm spicy with added coconut - this is how it smells to me. I don't know the original Alien but it does not smell like the current one, I think Alien is much cooler. It does need to mature for a few weeks if you are ordering online and it is travelling to you, just like others are saying. I hated it when it arrived, now I love it. Good as a clubbing perfume for autumn as it's quite yummy and warm. Edit: I layered it with Ramz Gold and Choco Musk and now it smells more like Alien. Still warmer though, amazing for winter.

Gosh, I just recieved this 2 months ago. I was really disappointed because I really wanted a very close dupe of Rouge Malachate because I can't afford the Orginal. I do this alot because I enjoy perfume and i want to have a variety in my collection. The Pepper note is SO STRONG. IM HOPING FOR THE TUBEROSE TO APPEAR AT SONE POINT.( like over dominant it ) Everyone saids The OG, is TUBEROSE heavy. I guess its got to sit for more time , maybe a year. Fingers crossed 🤞🤞

This one to me opens RM by Giorgio Armani but the drydown screams Just Cavalli by Roberto Cavalli, I own both of them and both have same draydown. I got much headache of neroli ,patchouli (a strong one).The difference is Niche is more soft and sweet-milky but still almost same RC-smell. no not my cup of tea.

A versatile perfume to wear in a tropical weather. The spiciness is very sexy too, especially after maceration (A MUST when buying ME perfumes). Not really a 1-1 clone of Rouge Malachite, but it does work. I'd say it's about 65-70% similar.

Rouge Malachite without tuberose? What even is this? Lol I just recently got Emper Luxe Rouge and it smells incredible... I recommend if you're looking for a RM clone.

Can't wait to try this and decide whether to get Rouge Malachite at all. It got too expensive! But I don't see that it has sage that is very important note in RM.

a success blind buy from this house. very alien. true ladyish. it turns better and better after maceration for sure.

This is beautiful. The more I spray the more it shows me its true character. It’s just wonderful!

Reminiscent of Armani Rouge Malachite however has that oudy saffron Middle Eastern scent to it.
