Papillon D'Or

I have been sniffing LaBomba every chance I could for 6 months. My plan was to get Jouri my next online haul. I skin tested LB & Power of You for compatibility with my chemistry. Both liked me. Anywho, I seen this in the comparisons to Jouri, it had a good price. I got both. Now, first let me say that I love this. Let me also say that this in the opening, does indeed smell like the inspiration. The difference is most present in the dry down, but the ambroxan is present throughout. It provides a fresh, muskiness. With the sweet peony and orange blossom, the ambroxan gives a fresh powderiness, soft pink musk. The double shot of vanilla is so sweet. It is lovely, but the dry down of LB is patchouli based. That patchouli with the vanilla and fruit leaves it a lil richer, P D’or is fresher and muskier. The sillage fills a room and longevity is about 7 on skin and lingers on cloths until they are washed. I will be able to wear year around, day in cooler weather, & night on our hot humid nights. This is a very pretty fragrance with a very pretty bottle. Safe blind buy and if you have issues with the patchouli dry down in LB, but love the fruity sweetness, this may be perfect for you. 15/10
