Philos Pura

(!!!UPDATED!!!) First off keep in mind I got a good already macerated batch and probably with more maceration will make this thing even more gorgeous and wonderful. Okay this fragrance is wonderful imagine Erba Pura but a bit less long lasting and a little weaker. That’s this fragrance, from what I remember from Erba pura this is barely any different, I’d probably give this a safe rating of 90-95 percent just because I don’t remember the smell of Erba pura fully. But don’t mistake that and think it’s weak. With two sprays on my arm my parents smelled it and very strongly throughout our whole apartment and whichever room I went in. It is a beast. As soon as you spray it you get an instant gorgeous blast of fruits, like bananas, peaches, light plum, pear, and grape smells. With a bit of citrus to make it less super sweet and more of a fresher tone to it. It’s just so juicy, mouth watering and refreshing. Not any sort of gourmand like angel share for example but more of a nice refreshing natural summer treat like a bowl of fruits. With my nose I almost get the slightest sun screeny hint giving it a very summery vibe almost. This is a gorgeous fragrance if you want Erba pura BUY IT, cheaper than any other dupes I’ve seen online! Now I’d you’ve got the money to spend on Erba pura and just want Erba pura then just get the og, but if you’re on a budget or just don’t wanna spend that money then buy this. Totally underrated, and there is any difference with this an Erba pura it’s probably because this is a little fresher. Similarity: 9.75 (just because of the sillage and longevity) Smell: 9.75 out of 10 (wonderful if you like the profile) Strength: 9.5 out of 10 (Le male elixir or 9pm projection) Longevity: 10/10 I’d say an estimate with 1 or 2 sprays on the same spot is 14-16+ hours on skin ( This is after I had sprayed it twice, let is sit on my skin for a few hours, took a shower, then went to sleep, and then woke up and smelt it a little bit after I woke up. But it also depends on person, def 18+ hours on clothes easily probably closer to 24+ and I could even see it lasting through a wash Price: 10/10 (it is definitely worth it especially being in the 20-30 dollar range) PS this fragrance is completely unisex but I could see it leaning so so so very slightly feminine to a trained nose or to someone who is used to wearing things like sauvage elixir or red tobacco for example

Disclaimer: I have to mention upfront that I don’t know the original Erba Pura and have never tested it. Like all my other fragrances: This is a blind-Buy When I first sprayed this fragrance on a scent strip and immediately left the room for a moment, I was genuinely surprised when I came back— the entire room was filled with what I could only describe as a women’s perfume. My immediate impression was: this is 100% feminine. Not unisex, not slightly leaning feminine—purely a women’s fragrance, very much in the direction of Laura Biagiotti Romamor or YSL Black Opium. Strangely enough, I found it really beautiful. Sweet, powdery, and hard to break down into exact notes, but very pleasant. It’s incredibly sweet and powdery, and I can imagine it getting even better as it matures. After around 20–30 minutes, the dry-down kicks in—and that’s when it really struck me: I know this scent! I’ve smelled it so many times before but couldn’t place it. The fragrance felt 100% familiar, even though I had never tested Erba Pura itself. The Drydown is phenomenal: warm, sweet vanilla paired with amber, smooth blend. What’s truly impressive is how affordable this fragrance is considering the strength and beautiful character it delivers. Vanilla and Amber as the base note is very pleasant. Price-Value 10/10 (one of the best price-value ratios I know) Scent 8/10 Blind-Buy-safe? If you don't know Erba Pura and you are the Lalique Encre Noire-Guy (like me), then it is not blind-buy-safe. If you like sweet scents, 100% yes.

#782 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Xerjoff's "Erba Pura" is one of the most underrated premium scents of all time IMO, so I had to try this out. Tomorrow I'm giving this bottle to the lovely woman I had lunch with today because I want her to smell like this. The opening is fruitier, not as sharply citric as Erba Pura, almost candy-like at first. But the fruitiness calms down in dry down, as usual, when it is 90% a dupe of Erba Pura, but more musky, which I prefer (I've favored musk scents for years). It's unisex enough I'm getting a bottle for myself. This lasts and projects for hours, but not in an obtrusive way that will offend anyone, so safe for any use. Smells clean, fresh, a little fruity, and lightly vanillic. I love it! I do prefer Xerjoff "Accento" to the very similar "Erba Pura" because I like pineapple notes, and fortunately Alhambra decided to clone Accento with Philos "Centro"(I've got that one too). I am really impressed with the scents they've introduced in the last 12 months and I hope they keep them coming.

😍 Absolutely delicious to me! Fruity in the initial spray, then settles to a sweet and creamy scent. Brilliant longevity on my skin, and projection is insane. I also have philos opus noir which is equally gorgeous (and unique) and again, brilliant on longevity and projection. I'm so glad I purchased a back up bottle for both 😉! I think I may need to explore the other's in this range 😉🙃👌

Had to make another review and an update, I smelt Erba pura today again at Bloomingdale’s my mouth dropped, it smells just like this. Then smelt this when I came home and my mouth dropped again, it’s literally 1:1

Levemente sintético, bem frutado e doce com um almíscar de fundo, muito gostoso, bom para ambientes climatizados, não deve se sair bem no calor excessivo, performance é boa, mas nada fora do comum.

This is an excellent low cost Erba Pura like fragrance. The notes are the same. I have Erba Pura & side by side it's basically the same. I really enjoy it & the price. I love Erba Pura. 💚

Citrusy fruity the fruits is wrapped in Citrus very beautiful smelling scent I would buy it again note let it age for while and thank me later

Really good price concious alternative to Xirjoff Erba Pura. The opening is a tad stronger, a little much on the alcohol on a fresh bottle (seems like it could macerate quite well). Very fruity, but mellowed out by the vanilla and musk. Such a great scent profile, it could be worn year round! Only gripe is to the longevity. Projection is only a few hours, and on skin is max 6 hours.

Wow this is incredibly close to erba pura. I have erba pura, the main differences are the following: 1-The original has a stronger citrus note, philos barely has any citrus 2-The performance and projection. The original is true beast mode, philos is decent but no where near Xerjoff Other than that. Basically the exact same. Definitely would recommend 8/10

95 Percent close to Erba Pura. I had the original erba pura and bought this to see if dupes really get close and yes it does. I would definitly recommend this if u wanna save the money and still wand to have the Erba Pura DNA.

I can definitely smell the unwanted Arabic musk the other reviewer was talking about, but it is almost inoffensive. A nice fruity scent for a winter day, maybe in time the musk will not reveal itself at all.

Really strong musk note, so be careful, otherwise smells like smoothie made of fruits.

This is a monstrosity. Please don't waste your money like I did. I wanted it because it was supposed to smell like Erba pura. Let me tell you, the bottle is absolutely beautiful. It is covered in purple velvet like material, with a gold insignia and gold cap. Totally high class, elegant, impressive. The scent however, is another story. It's chemical warfare. It leaves a trail after one puff. It has that horrific Arabic musk, impossible to get rid of even after washing with soap and water. I loathe it on skin. On cotton is somehow much better. A bit soft, a bit fruity, very creamy. The horrible musk is not so noticeable. it's almost pretty. But the places where it touched my skin, it's absolutely terrible. Very unisex, probably better for men than for women. When am I going to learn my lesson with these blind buys? It seems never. I'm going to gift it to a male friend, since my chemistry with it is not good. Try before you buy, and don't rely on a test strip, because it is much different on skin versus clothes.

Como eu moro em um país tropical(BRASIL), seria impensável ter o original(erba pura) em minha lista , haja visto que muito dificilmente poderia usar ele boa parte do ano. dito isto, ja esse PHILOS PURA, se encaixa bem em meu uso e pretensões, possuindo uma maior versatilidade, com custo benefício . projeção moderada em minha pele aproximadamente de 1 hora e meia, e fixação de 7 horas( em roupas fixam quase o dia todo), Recomendo se vc morar em lugar quente demais, pois o original irá te sufocar e as pessoas ao seu lado tb. Não considero ele um dupe perfeito, acredito em similaridade de cerca de 75% no maximo, o que ja é suficiente para o preço cobrado e pelo que ele entrega. Recomendo!!!!

Para mí sin dudarlo es el mejor clon que hay de erba pura. Seamos sinceros, el ADN de la de xerjoff ya se ve en todos lados y cada casa árabe tiene un clon de esta. Es por eso que recomiendo comprar philos pura. Además, es el más barato entre los dupes y encima cumple con prestaciones. Es más, hasta te diría que si tienes el dinero no te compres erba pura. En su lugar compra este clon y algún que otro perfume que quieras

another erba pura dupe from an Arabian clone house. ana abiyedh, amber oud gold, philos pura. they're all identical but never quite hit the mark. just look at the price and pick your poison. only a perfumer could differentiate them from each other.

I had it and i will not buy it again.Its not bad but its more for females.Its a long lasting parfume,it performed well but for the first 2 hours it didnt smell like Erba Pura then yes.

Too loud and screechy, cannot be compared to Erba Pura / Kirke bc of that It's a cheap substitute, in this case it's better to go with OG

Okay so it smells 80-90% like Erba pura and it PROJECTSSS so be carful of the sprays, its not feminine at all I can see it being unisex.
