Fragrantica, you definitely have a blind spot when it comes to these UAE clone brands. Sketchily and inaccurately catalogued, so many perfumes overlooked and not even included on Fragrantica. But every fringe niche house gets a big write up and adulation, especially tiny snob brands most of us do not have access to. Clone houses are a huge trend you all seem to shun and marginalize. Lattafa and its subsidiary brands such as Maison Alhambra, Asdaaf, and Rave have released dozens of fragrances you don't even include. And don't get me started on Paris Corner. In the case of Platinum Blend: The bottle is a big rectangular block with FOR MAN in red letters and the scent is based on an obvious fougere profile, but you label it for WOMEN. The fish in question is WHITING, a mild marine fish. The notes are included for saltiness. It's not fishy-fishy. People overreact to the inclusion of any aquatic species in perfume...Womanity is a great case in point, a salty fig that had people pearl clutching because of the alleged caviar note. Well, pearls are aquatic and no one is grossed out by them; people are so weird.🐟

Alces Alces- I couldn’t have said it better. I’m in my 40s. I find it incredulous that massively produced frags are costing about the same as a monthly car payment. When I was in my 20’s no one spent over 100 dollars.. even on the finest of fragrances. How did this happen? How did the frag industry pull this over on people? Especially in the age of synthetics! Every true ingredient has been banned. Everyone is using the same synthetics as the other. I’m so tired of coming here and viewing the new frags., all over priced, niche brands that no one can get a hold of. I’ve spent a lot of my free time reading about fragrance.. collecting fragrance and I’ve come to one conclusion.. it’s a monopolistic price fixing business. For a frag to be produced MASSIVELY.. and for that bottle to cost 400 dollars? They are FOOLING YOU. Don’t fall for it. Fragrantica needs to step up and give proper attention to what most of us is into at the moment.. clone houses with honest prices.

Fragrantica, keep doing what youre doing. Clone houses have no place here. Niche is where its at. I wont even buy designer because almost all designer stuff smells cheap. I wouldnt touch a clone house with a 30' pole. You do need to create entries for On Bite and Tupliano Red, FYI.

How does fragrantica get this wrong??? They have Platinum Blend as a woman's scent, when it clearly says For Man on the bottle. Really? It doesn't get any easier than that, to see who the scent is for yet someone still screws the pooch......
