Rose Oud

This is no joke, I have this and oud rosewood. As soon as I bought this I was kicking myself as I realised they are almost identical if not the dupe I even prefer more due to the slight more sweetness. Would definitely recommend.

Nose Note #135 Although the juice color is almost pink, oh man is it far from being a girly scent. It actually reminds me of Qaa'ed Al Shabaab by Lattafa. I smell a lot of heavy leather, though it may be a particular rendition of oud. My wife also says it smells like chicken shit, which means it's either leather or some interesting take on patchouli like in Bvlgari Gyan. Definately not the rosiest scent. For real oud-rose combo check Lattafa Oud Mood, Opulent Oud or a maybe Rouat al Oud (another Oud Ispahan smell-alike I have, which is yet not so much about rose or oud and is quite a different experience from Rose Oud by Maison Alhambra). I like Rouat al Oud much better. Check it out, it's more feminine. Unisex? Maybe leaning male. Strong and powerful. Not a blind buy. Will satisfy those looking for something new, interesting, with a hint of Middle-East.

Hmmmm.... well, it is rosY oud, but mostly it smells smoky, woody, leathery and earthy. It's a dry smell that I imagine would be pretty easy to layer due to its simplicity. I just wanted much more rose than oud, and this is more "I have been sitting by a campfire". Not at all a girly scent. Unisex though, as anyone can be sitting near a campfire Totally agree with Semyonsemyoff. I too see the comparison to chicken shit. No, this perfume doesn't smell like shit (it's a good part of the shit), but it has a certain smell - kind of almost like a gasoline smell.
