Salvo Elixir

Bruhhh... this is literally just as good as the original. I don't usually go nuts for Maison Alhambra scents, but this is amazing! I received 6 unsolicited compliments l on this fragrance, from different people, the first night I wore it. Just 4 sprays from a BRAND NEW bottle, and the performance and projection were perfect. A couple were "OMG, you smell amazing!" and "You smell delicious!" while nuzzling her nose into my neck for another smell. This is WAY better than Lattafa Asad! I think Asad smells good, and high quality, but it just didn't smell like something I wanted to wear. This does!!! This also has an Ambroxan element that's closer to Sauvage and Asad just didn't have that essential element. Again, I don't typically like Maison Alhambra scents, but this is phenomenal. Get it!!!

#750 in my "Tour de Fragrance" The notes in this listing are completely wrong. They are the notes for Lattafa Asad which is absolutely nothing like Sauvage Elixir. Asad is black pepper, pineapple, tobacco, coffee, patchouli, iris amber, vanilla, dry wood, benzoin, and labdanum. Sauvage Elixir is grapefruit, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, grapefruit, lavender, licorice, sandalwood, amber, patchouli, and Haitian vetiver. Salvo Elixir is also grapefruit, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, lavender, amber, earthy, licorice, vetiver and patchouli. This is a great clone at a great price. Not as long-lasting as the original (four hours for this) , nor close to the longevity of Asad (which lasts all day), but for the money, good enough to put up with respraying over lunch.

I half way was expecting this to be my favorite inspo of Savauge Elixir, but I was wrong. It does smell fantastic! It is a major amber bomb, but you can kind of pick out most of the notes(the pineapple, patchouli, tobacco and coffee are interesting together). It actually does have good longevity for me, but the projection is only good for the first hour or two. After the first two hours it has average projection and maybe a little above average sillage. Certainly not the beastly performance of most fragrances of this DNA. I think Lattafa Asad, and Riffs Prive Blue are still my two favorite inspos so far. Of course I've only tried three.

Supporting notes - Not so much. But it has so much similarity to DSE, that it only makes sense to buy this. This is splitting hairs, - They are SO close. And for the price, it is silly. You will pick up nuances that make them different if you smell them side by side, but it is a fragrance that gives you total bang for your buck. Exceeded my expectations, and it is as close as anyone could ask for in a clone anno 2026. Thank you Maison Alhambra!

A spot on clone of Dior Sauvage Elixir, for 30 dollars you get a magnetic cap, pressurized-ish atomizer, and solid juice that last up to 8 hours maximum (on my skin personally). Although my only complaint is that the bottle is only 60ml, despite looking 100ml😔😔😔. Update: After a couple months, it's starting to smell more like a combination of Sauvage EDP and the Elixir, it's still very good in my opinion, but just a weird note lol.

This is Dior Sauvage Elixir, no doubt about it. The absolute ONLY difference is the concentration. It's evident from start to finish. This is slightly lighter, because of concentration. It is also not as long lasting. Again, due to concentration. I do have both so I feel like I kinda know what I'm talking about. Not buying a backup of DSE. Gonna buy 5 more bottles of this, and just spray away!

Similar to Lattafa ASAD. This is a masculine spicy oriental fragrance. Nice longevity. Very versatile. But better suited for people around 30 years old and on. The cap is magnetic and the bottle presentation is only 60ml. But the price is pretty decent. I wouldn't wear it in hot weather but you can wear it using very few sprays.

The only difference I notice in smell is that Dior Sauvage Elixir has more of a deeper woody licorice to it immediately when sprayed. Sauvage Elixir also last a bit longer. Otherwise, Salvo Elixir is pretty spot on for an inexpensive clone. LOL at any complaints about this clone when it costs nothing.

Amazing clone but there are 2 problems, first is that I get a bit of medicinal smell compared to sauvage elixir which is obviously more well blended, and the second one is the horrible performance that it has (less than an hour of projection and lasts 4 hours on my skin)

price to output ratio is mad crazy no idea about its similarity to original sauvage elixir ( me poor ) but very first day , first use the performance this gives in comparison to it's price i paid ( 17 usd equivalent) is mad crazy will update 3 months later

I cant believe that this 15 € fragrance with the funny knockoff name could actually be so close to Sauvage. This gets extremely close and i totally suggest it as a cheaper alternative.

I like this equally to Lattafa Asad, but my wife likes this better, and Asad is about her second favorite.

This is closer to sauvage elixir than Asad, but it sadly doesnt have the best performance.

I've had this frag for a while now . I blind bought the entire salvo series from Maison Alhambra because I like the brand and I'm also a big fan of sauvage. The elixir is my least favourite, in fact I have a real hard time trying to like it. It's just not my cup of tea. I really disliked Asad by lattafa too. This one is better than Asad in my opinion. Not sure how close it is to the real thing but it started to grow on me with time. It takes a lot for me to get used to this scent and I have to learn to appreciate this type of scent somehow. It's slowly turning in to s more familiar scent like Drakkar noir which I love hence the beginning of a more appreciative attitude towards salvo elixir. But I'm not quite there yet. There is still something in this scent I can't get comfortable with. It would be so much easier if I had a trained nose and could point out what exactly it is that disturbes me. In conclusion, if you like sauvage elixir,you'll like this . Specially considering the price. It's dirt cheap. ***UPDATE*** 14/10/25 This has now gotten so much better to the point where I can enjoy this. Now it smells like a darker and deeper sauvage. Perfect for colder months. Maceration is a real thing ladies and gentlemen.

First time I tried it, I was like "Okay it's just Asad in another bottle", until I sprayed them both (Salvo Elixir & Sauvage Elixir) side by side. I would safely say 80-85% similarity. No it doesn't have the same quality as the OG but for under $30 it's good. Asad is also good but not as close as this one. I haven't full worn it yet so I can't tell you much about the performance. The bottle is nice even though I find it's too heavy for 60 ml fragrance. Update (2024-7-28) : It's indeed a more wearable version of DSE, the spiciness isn't as heavy as the OG. The longevity is quite good with moderate to intimate projection. I recommend you to do 12-15 sprays.

90% Sausage Elixir. The main difference to me is the black licorice isn't as deep and the fragrance isn't as well blended. Compared to Asad, this hits the licorice and smokiness notes better, but kind of lacks in sweetness. Performance obviously cant compete with sausage, and this lasts about 6 hours and projects moderately. If you want this to perform decent you need at least 4-5 sprays. I got my bottle about 3 months ago, and it got much closer to sauvage in that time. If you can get this for less than $40, then I'd say its worth it. But if not then just get Asad.

As an avid fan of Sauvage Elixir, I set out to find a more versatile version because Elixir is unsuitable for hot weather and enclosed environments. Although Salvo Elixir reminds you of the scent profile 90%, it still lacks the spices, richness, performance, and complexity. However, this is why it is an inexpensive option and a good candidate as a more wearable substitute. The projection for the first two hours is decent. The 60 ml bottle has a weak magnetic cap, but a weak one is better than none. I prefer this over Asad.

Good dupe thats been overshadowed by Asad. Scent wise i find it to be a 1 for 1 minus a tad bit of licorice vibe. Lacks the performance ofc, kind hard to top the OG tbf. But for sub $30 can you really expect this to be a monster. Bottle design is odd however, it has the design of the normal 3.4 sauvages yet only holds 60ml. It does have a magnetic (weaker than Dior caps) cap that almost supports the weight of the bottle. Kinda like the Chanel magnetic caps.

Sauvage Elixir is not a unique or distinctive fragrance although it's a good fragrance. And the Alhambra Salvo is a pretty good replication. But ask yourself, as I do, if you need another fragrance in his wheelhouse. I prefer the first Salvo, called "EDP", which dupes Sauvage EDT. Question of taste. Apples and oranges. The Salvo EDP (duping Sauvage EDT) is dynamic and a more remarkable wear to my nose.

Not mass-appealing. Not blind-buy safe. Don't buy into the hype. If you don't have a few other banger winter frags, don't start with this one unless you've smelt a tester of the OG in-store. 4-Month Maturation Update: This actually smells decent now so I retract my initial negative review. It's like Dior Sauvage EDT with an amber accord. It's nothing amazing but still pretty good.

Just got this in. Smells similar to Sauvage Elixir. Since it was just under $14, I’d consider this a big win. Is it as rich? No. As spicy? No. As long lasting? No. Is it good enough for the price? Most definitely, especially since the original is so strong that it is almost unwearable unless you are outdoors. Now, Maison Alhambra needs to work on a Parfum version.

Smells a little detergent-esque and medicinal to me. Definitely not bad for the price, but it is a little bit of a subjective fragrance - meaning it might come off as a little offensive to people around you.

So strong it is almost unwearable beyond 1 spray. Reminds of a Sauvage Elixir but without the quality EO's and the skillful blending. I do not think anyone could mistake one for the other side by side, but in itself, it is a very decent offering at it's price point and I honestly cannot fault it in any way. LTDR Poor man's Sauvage Elixir.

Performance is good for me. Smells really close to the original. A bit fresher than Asad and less sweet, more licorice. Nice heavy bottle with a magnetic cap. So the question is: this or Asad? Get this if you want something close to the OG and get Asad for the same DNA with a slight oriental twist. Both are very good.

To me all this Al Hambra so-called perfumes are nothing else than cheap Chinese $2 fragrances with those crap names, longevity are horrible, i have few of it, one of them was to be very popular AVANT clone of Aventus, but last only 5min, after that you can just look into the bottle...I will go for ASAD LATTAFA as i own a bottle and it is pretty much closer to ELIXIR even I don't like Elixir at all but I have ASAD ZANZIBAR so bought ASAD to have them in collection, but I will stay FAR FAR away from Al-Hambra fragrances unless they improve projection, longevity and sillage , also to start naming those fragrances with proper name, not SALVO, CHIC etc... That is more made in China...

Imagine Sauvage Elixir with less depth and a lot less power. I don't like the Original and this is a fresher take on it. Unfortunately the performance is bad, maybe 4 hours or so.

This is all you need to know about Salvo: Yes, it’s pretty similar about 80% (which is pretty good) The opening although you get the similarity straight away, it’s a bit off putting, there is the rubber kinda smell, or better yet, unsophisticated woods, do you know when you store you perfume for too long in an inappropriate way? and you get those old rotten woods on top of the notes, that! And it persists for a little bit, it will go away though. The dry down first half is very pleasant and very similar, then the second half it becomes too close to club de nuit, and the sandalwood with Licorice do not shine, which is what’s nice about savage it goes from that classy soapy to that sweet sensual and it kinda goes very close to Oud for greatness, or at least to my nose I get nuances of it, very subtle but it is there. Then salvo dies beyond that point, it goes skin scent it’s there for hours but skin scent nonetheless. Overall it is worthwhile if you want it to go to the gym, or casual situations where you don’t want to put on the expensive savage, saving the OG for the more special occasions, in other words if it’s your signature and you’re on a budget buy both and save the OG for more special occasions, and the clone for more casual occasions. Other than that don’t bother, the OG is way better, more sophisticated, dry down to die for, and very strong. Also the clone is kinda of a mix of edp and elixir with club de nuit late dry down.

I own and love Sauvage Elixir. It's very masculine smelling, woodsy (pine-tree-ish), warm and spicy, and comforting - it reminds me of Christmas in a bottle. I love to spray it on my clothes before I sleep but realized I'm wasting it so I decided to look into a dupe I could do that with. Salvo Elixir has a very similar scent profile, it's about 80% close to Sauvage Elixir. Sauvage Elixir has a richness and complexity to it that this dupe just doesn't have. Salvo Elixir opens up harsher (rubbing alcohol for the first 15 seconds), and it's definitely more linear, and lacks the licorice undertone and depth, but it's close in the dry down. On my skin, doesn't last very long - it becomes a skin-scent after 1 - 2 hours. For the price (I bought it for $22USD which is almost a 1/10th of the 60ml bottle), however, it's okay if you want to be in the same ballpark. Edit: So I used Sauvage Elixir when going out in the evenings a lot this past winter. I definitely get compliments on it. It's just very rich smelling, dark, spicy, and masculine. As mentioned I like to wear this at scent profile at night, especially after showering and before bedtime. I spray Sauvage Elixir on one arm and Salvo Elixir on another arm and although they share similar scent profile, you can definitely smell the difference. Sauvage is way more rich and complex. I still think Salvo Elixir is similar, but you can definitely smell the difference in quality.

Nose: Oh Dear God! What is that?! Are we under chemical attack? This stuff is harsh as a Soviet ballet instructor with a hangover. Brain: What do you know about hangovers? You're a nose, not a brain. Do you even know what 'Salvo' means here? Nose: no Brain: It means the discharge of firearms to hit a target or to perform a salute. Salvo is supposed to hit hard. Nose: Well if Salvo's intent is to cripple an enemy in many blows at once, that opening blast tore me a new nose hole with pepper, citrus and Johnny Depp's ego. Brain: That strong huh? Nose: As strong as the smell in a tour bus bathroom after a chili cook-off. Brain: I guess you're the expert in the smelling department. But c'mon man, it's bold. Very Alpha. I'll tell the hands to go easy on the sprays, it says elixir on the bottle after all. One, maybe two sprays, tops. Nose: Wait, hold on. I think it's changing. Is that.. lavender, cedarwood, nutmeg? Some woody spicy peppery ambroxan creeping in? It's quite nice now. I like it! Brain: That's called the dry down. Nose: It's lingering beautifully. Brain: I told you. You panic every time we try something with a little edge. Lucky I told the eyes not to blind-buy.

Con esta joyita, ni loco me compro Sauvage elixir. 350 dólares por él me parece un desperdicio de dinero en un aroma que puedes conseguirlo parecido con este clon a unos 40 dólares. Además te sobra para comprar otra fragancia o un producto que desees. Hablando del perfume: Es muy rico, lo noto un poco más juvenil y sintética que la original. Las prestaciones tampoco fallan. Recomiendo más este que el asad por el hecho que la otra la noto más dulce y encima están a un precio similar

Cracked open a new bottle and after 20 sprays it smells good for like 10 minutes and then it’s gone. It’s got that shaving cream kind of smell, but not nearly as quality as Sauvage elixir. But I didn’t expect that at what 14 bucks. The magnetic cap is a nice touch and it looks just like my bottle by Dior which is also cool. I just wish it lasted like at least 2 to 3 times longer even after letting it sit for two months.

Closest to Sauvage Elixir. Better than Asad. I don’t get any of the chemical or synthetic experiences that a few others have had. It opens just like Sauvage. After having this, I have no reason to ever buy Sauvage elixir. On me this lasts 8-10 hours. For the price, give it a try and compare to Sauvage. It’s 95% the same.

Particularmente, foi o pior perfume que utilizei (comecei a pouco tempo nesse universo). O cheiro tem muita lenha/tabaco pro meu gosto, é um perfume que acho insuportável na saída mas que depois que se assenta fica mais tranquilo e mais sério, não compraria novamente, mas gosto não se discute. Não aconselho ir no Blind.

I am absolutely blown away by Salvo Elixir! It’s easily 90-95% close to the original Dior Sauvage Elixir DNA. The opening is punchy with that signature licorice and cinnamon vibe, and the dry down is rich, woody, and sophisticated. For the price, the quality of the blend is impressive..

If this were twice the strength it would be great because it’s very close to dse but after 20 sprays it’s gone in an hour or less. lol so 2.0 oz goes fast for me and it’s a shame. I mean why don’t the make it stronger and charge 10-15$ more?

So much smoother than Asad. A wonderful masculine niche smelling fragrance. Hard to believe that it inspired by a designer flagrance. This is actually a less rough version of the original. Fantastic for the price.

Extremely close to dse.. I own the original and yes they’re splitting hairs. Bought this to save the original for nights out and this I could use to daily. Recommend 8-12 sprays to match the originals potential

After leaving this in my car for like 3 months , damn it got strong AF , one spray nukes the whole room I take back the 8-12 spray comment I made months ago😂

For the price, this is really nice. Definitely reminds me of sauvage. 10/10
