Smell of chic barbershop, perfume that refers to the men's personal hygiene products of the Bozzano brand. But, in a very strange way, too pleasant. According to the comments of the friends below, the perfume improves in quality and performance after some time of maceration, which was not necessary with me. You'll see that I'm lucky... lol I received the perfume yesterday and wore it today, at 8:30 am, exactly nine sprays, being: two on the wrists, two on the inner parts of the elbow, two on the neck, one on the head, one on the chest and one on the shirt. That was enough to project WELL for more than two hours. I didn't touch up the perfume throughout the day just to test its longevity. When I got home, around 7 pm, the perfume was still well fixed on my skin (of course without projection). The fragrance is very pleasant, as for the similarity with the original (I mean, its inspiration) I don't know how to specify the percentage, but I believe more than 80% similarity with Sauvage EDP. It's not a clone, obviously, but it's, in fact, very similar. I'll test them side by side and comment again. It's worth the cost x benefit, I recommend it for everyday life. I got this after smelling it side-by-side with Sauvage EDP... It is hard to tell the difference between the 2.. Like with all the Alhambra frags, you have to let this one sit to smell and perform at its full potential.. I did not get this fragrance because I love it.. It is pleasant, but the reason it has its spot in my collection is that because this is the most versatile DNA in my opinion alongside the Cool Water/Aspen DNA... If you like Sauvage EDP and want to save your money, get this, do a few sprays, let it sit for a month and then you have Sauvage EDP for less than 20$.. You're welcome! Cheers! What I want to touch on is performance : it gives me a decent scent bubble with more silage than projection, but after 6-8 hours it simply goes away (and fragrances tend to last on me quite a bit)... That being said, for about 15$/100ml that you pay for this, you still get a great deal - smells like Sauvage EDP, good quality and, for those who find Sauvage to be to much because of its strength, this could be a good option

It is not terrible but in comparison to Dior Sauvage EDP and EDT this one misses the mark by just a small margin. I am picking up a leathery nuanced in the dry down that Sauvage DNA does not show at any of the different stages. It’s also missing the quality of the ingredients are not at the same levels. Salvo Intense is a linear fragrance that has an interesting juvenile approach to the Sauvage DNA, it’s fresh and last for a few hours. Really good for the price but if you are after a Dior Sausage DNA just get the actual thing. I was experimenting and wanted to check this one out but in the future I just get a Sauvage bottle, I know it’s going to last me 5 years.

This is legit just a weaker version of Sauvage EDP. It smells like an expensive body wash. The smell is almost identical to Sauvage EDP. Very fresh, peppery, citrusy, and very little sweetness. Smells 98% like the real thing, so scent-wise this is a no-brainer. But the only issue I have is the longevity, it lasts 4-6 hours max. For me, this makes the OG EDP useless but I got Sauvage edt for my bday so I won't be using this as much. Probably use Sauvage Edt during the day and Salvo Intense at night. Update: I actually prefer this, it’s less headache inducing unlike sauvage edt! Smell 7/10 Longevity 5/10 Projection 3/10 Price 10/10

Anyone can get the similarities but it's not exactly there either. Edp opening is great and has this freshness and sweetness. Salvo Intense doesn't seem to open like that and goes to the later scent development stages. It's also more spicy so you'll more of the Edt also. This makes me wonder Intense is trying to clone Edp or Edt. After about 1.5-2hrs Salvo Intense becomes very close to the Edp. Anyway for something around 15usd it is a cheap alternative for those who wants to smell like Sauvage. Even good for all usages. Room and clothes etc.

Close to Sauvage EDP, but it is not as smooth, and it is missing more vanilla in the dry dow,n but I paid $15 for a 3.4oz bottle as opposed to $157 for a 3.4oz bottle of Dior Sauvage EDP. Very easy switch to make for the massive price difference. Believe me, the original fragrance is not $142 better. I will use this for most occasions I would use my Dior for, and save my Dior for moments when I really want my fragrance to make an impression.

Most of Middle East dupe houses don’t complete the maceration phase and from personal experience I can tell you that at first they all have the tendency to be kinda off, they smell unfinished and the notes could be al over the place. This one has some oud notes but it’s very subtle and maybe just to my nose. The fragrance in general seems to be improving since I bought it few weeks ago. It seems to perform well but time will tell.

#740 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I actually held this review back because when I first got the scent it wasn't in the database. Solid clone of Sauvage EDP with the same performance as the original. Let it sit on the shelf a couple of months since Alhambra doesn't bother to blend their scents. Unbeatable price. Nothing more to say.

Sauvage EDP but with the power of the EDT. Is very very close ... i can hardly tell the difference as i have both. 7/10 for me .. smells great. Keeps me from using up all my Sauvage which the EDT alone is costing a fortune these days when i run out. Great for everyday use. Got it for like 20 bucks at a beauty supply store.

I really hate to admit this because of how much I love Sauvage EDP, but this is spot on and arguably better. The opening is harsher than Sauvage EDP but everything else is better. It lasts longer, it projects better and it is a fraction of the cost. Insane stuff although I am not too fond of the bottle.

Not as fruity or fresh as Sauvage, but still a great scent all on its own. Very spicy, peppery, and just a touch of bergamot. For the price, I'm VERY happy with this purchase - one of my favorite fragrance purchases recently. Versatile year-rounder that's still intimate enough to get compliments.

Definitely a good alternative to the og! You may miss a bit the lemon opening and feel the pepper is a bit higher but all in all it has a real great performance and if you like the og you can blind buy it for sure!

I’m not a Sauvage fan but this is actually very good, not gonna use it routinely but a nice add to my collection. Also where I live it cost about 10 dollar which makes it a no brainer.

It's a Sauvage EDP Intense. That's it.

I've had this frag for a while now . I blind bought the entire salvo series from Maison Alhambra because I like the brand and I'm also a big fan of sauvage. This one opens as a more closer clone to sauvage edt than the regular salvo but then it changes and becomes different altogether. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a EDP interpretation of sauvage or sauvage EDP or something in between those. I've actually never smelled sauvage EDP so I couldn't say for sure but for me this smells somewhat closer to the original edt in the beginning but after that im not sure. Again , if you want to smell like sauvage on a budget than go for it as long as its not overpriced of course. Otherwise go for the more accurate ones closer to the real deal. As I mentioned before, one of my favourit is ventana by armaf. I'm sure there are better clones out there but once the price is close to the original then why bother? For me personally ventana does the job and I also have a special blend that a perfumer threw together for me which is more than enough to scratch the itch for sauvage. I just refuse to pay such a price for a scent that has been cloned and twisted so much that it has lost its charm and uniqueness. Yes it's a good scent but that's all it is.

Hear me out, for the price i paid ( 12 bucks ) this is a nice standalone perfume, it has a decent longevity and performance, not anything crazy, and the scent in nice. But I compared it to my decant of the OG - sauvage edp - and oh boy, wish i hadnt done that, because now ill keep thinking about how this salvo intense is supposed to smell like. The OG is smooth beautiful and clean, really cant go wrong with it, there is a reason it is so popular. But salvo intense, well, leaving aside the fact that its just not as bright, as clean, feels like 480p vs 4K resolution of the OG, this perfume has this harsh note or accord, its not a synthetic note per se, but its just... stinky. I dont know what it is, but the OG didnt have it, and this note is extremely present, its not a nit picky difference like in many clones where you wont notice the difference unless you smell them side by side with their OG. It's intense here and makes this perfume be not as balanced as the OG In terms of closeness, no more than 70%-75%. Still put a like though because it does smell nice, especially in the air and it doesnt feel synthetic, its just that comparing it to the OG more easily highlights that its far from being a masterclass of a perfume

I let it mature for about a month before posting this review, Maison Alhambra just rushes the juice to the markets and the scents dont really have the time to marry. Pretty par for the course in the clone space, but I figured it was worth mentioning. As a Sauvage EDP clone this does a pretty good job honestly, a creamy lavender scent with a good bit of that ambroxan fizz. When it dries down it loses most of the creamy/vanilla note, and just leaves the powdery lavender + ambroxan behind. It actually reminds me a lot of how "Bubble Yum" bubblegum tastes. It definitely has Sauvage dna, but it leans more into the lavender. Gives old man vibes but ultimately it smells decent. I get a little of the rubber smell that people talk about in the opening, but not to the extreme like others. Its a serviceable scent, Sauvage itself just really isnt for me, so this isnt really my cup of tea. Its a relatively safe blind buy, however dont even bother trying it until you let it sit for about a month. Take it outside and spray it 10-15 times then let it sit.

A better dupe than most, kinda boring as its own thing. Generally I'm more of a fan of clones that do their own spin on things rather than those who are simple imitation. For the facets of the scent that can't touch Sauvage Parfum (the metallics), they don't attempt to compensate with something else the way you'd see from a latafah branded product, for instance. Instead, there is simply a hole in the fragrance. Performance for price is extremely good however performance against OG is like a candle compared to a roaring fire. If you want to wear something that smells remarkably close to Sauvage Parfum on a daily basis that doesn't break the bank (like I do), this fits the bill perfectly. However, still get a decant of the real thing for date nights and functions.

You need to have a lot of patience when buying this one. At first spray I did not like it. Very synthetic and the notes are all over the place. No harmony whatsoever,after a month of maceration it became a little smoother,less offensive to the nose but the synthetic,almost nauseating scent is still present. Like petrol or something harsh. Left it sitting in the box for around 4 plus months and out of curiosity tried it again today. Its now a lot smoother,more cohesive and the harsh petrol smell is gone. Compared to the OG edt salvo is less fresh,more spicy and darker. Performance and longevity is good. Price is very cheap. Overall a good frag if you are willing to wait for it to mature(in my case 4 plus months)

Out of the box it stunk, had this harshness and weird rubber smelling note. I put it away to mascerate for a couple months and when I had came back to it I was suprised by how much it had smoothened out. I tested the Sauvage EDP and Salvo on skin and they were very similar. Sauvage is a little fresher and projects better. All in all, I am not the biggest fan of Sauvage edp but this is an unbeatable discount price of the original that most people will not be able to pick out the difference

Sauvage EDP with a hint of EDT. I had to let my juice mature and after 2 months of waiting it has become a monster - not beast mode but it’s strong. It’s heavy on the ambroxan. I feel like it’s not that good on my skin, only on clothes. If I do 6-7 sprays, I get 7-8 hours of longevity and I can also smell it on my clothes the next day. Projection is moderate but it projects for 3-3.5 hours with 8 sprays. I got compliments wearing this thing. Got it for a crazy price of €9.

This is the sharpest and most strident of the Salvos. It's certainly not sweet or resiny or ambery or oudy or easy to love. A 21st century barbershop fragrance with intensifying molecules. I don't have Sauvage EDP to compare. But this stands out from the crowd of all fragrances, western designer and UAE knockoffs. Easy to find for USD 20 equivalent and kind of a no brainer. UPDATE 5/2025 now 10 euros. I wonder if it's been changed.

Does smell like Sauvage EDP 85-90% similar imo but with less vanilla so for me it’s more versatile. It has average/moderate performance so apply heavy or spray on clothes to last longer. I have Sauvage edt and did not want to spend over $100 for the edp, this satisfies my need for a smoother version of the edt. Edit: After being gifted EDP this clone is spicier and fresher than the OG, less vanilla...

This is probably the best readily available Sauvage EDP clone out there rn. This smells super close to the original, and lasts just as long, at least for me. The sillage is great, and so is the projection. For $20-30 bucks, this is a no brainer if you like the scent profile of Sauvage EDP. Even if you haven't smelled Sauvage EDP before, I would say it's still a great blind buy.

Honest, get this over Dior Sauvage EDP. No it won't last as long and the first spray isn't amazing like Dior but 20 seconds for the scent to settle and then 6 to 8 hours performance very similar. Save $60 or more and get this. Again unless you are connoisseur of Dior, which I understand, this is pretty dang close.

Extremely close to the Original EdP. My nose might not be the most sophisticated but even side by side there aren't many differences. In the air no one will know that this isn't Sauvage. Performance is around 5-6h at max so this is the only drawback. It's not a big deal if you keep the price in mind.

Very close to Sauvage EDP! Has a little synthetic opening for like 10 seconds other wise very close. May require more sprays not as strong but its like $22. If I bought this first, I wouldn't have bought Dior version unless it was my signature daily scent. Beautifully done!!

I haven’t smelled the original, but this is a good men fragrance. It works for me for all year around fragrance, also it can be work and date fragrance. Projecting better than I smell it.

Pretty good, heavy on the pepper and ambroxan, however, doesn't last all that great, unless you overspray, like 30+ sprays. Not a terrible performer, especially for the price.

I write this review now after 6 months owning and macerating the fragrance. I think it is ok but to me personally it fails its purpose: smelling like Sauvage. I would say it somewhat smells like sauvage. The general direction, yes. But it’s not like I smell it and say, yes that is Dior Sauvage. Sauvage has just a very specific balance of notes that makes it directly recognizable. I’d argue Salvo intense has these notes too but balance is somehow off, it lacks some freshness, and there is a certain sweetness that is not present is Sauvage or at least not that much. An interesting fix to me is layering this with Montblanc Explorer. (Ratio: 3:2 Explorer/Salvo). In my impression this tones salvos sweetness down and adds more freshness as in Sauvage. It’s not exactly like the OG but definetly closer. Longevity is ok but my bottle maybe projects for 2h then turns into a skin scent. I probably wouldn’t buy again and rather try the club de nuit clone.

As far as a dupe of anything within the Sauvage line-up, this is the one between edt and edp. I'd like it more if the vanilla note came out more. The strength is there but, I'd rather just pay discount or market price for a larger Sauvage Edp bottle as it is my favorite out of the line-up. Projection is fine and is harsh from going from top to mid notes, stays closer to Sauvage EDT in the dry down. Develops to be smoother over time but still missing the vanilla intensity needed to say it has vanilla in it, if it did have that in a more pronounced part from mid to base with the ambroxin than this would be a near 1-1 but better projection of staranise in the mid.

First impressions, good. Definitely smells like Sauvage. However, a slight body sweat note mid-drydown around the 3 hour mark, then fades away into the deep drydown. I'm not sure if it's a maceration issue or my nose, but I can also detect it on clothes. EDIT: After a few wearings and some maceration, I can't detect it anymore. I've never owned Sauvage, but this is a daily wear for sure. Moderate projection with good longevity. Not a monster. Might get a little boring after a while as it's a simple scent.

Smells like burnt tire that ran over a pine tree

I'm personally not a fan. Not sure if it's my unit in particular but spraying it side by side with my bottle of Sauvage EDP, Salvo is much greener and plant like while also being less sweet and woody than my bottle of Sauvage. The sweetness in Salvo is very harsh in comparison especially because of those plant like notes whereas it's very soft and almost sugary when paired with the ambroxan on Sauvage. Longevity is about the same on each but Sauvage is just a much brighter fragrance that's addictive while Salvo Intense is just okay. It's something I wouldn't mind smelling but not a fragrance that would make me say oh that's sauvage. It's about 70% there to my nose.

A good offering of a common orangey, bergamot and ambroxan scent that lasts most of the work day in all seasons. It is well liked by those around and inviting. In Fall of 2024, it is offered at a really low price. While this is really similar to something like sauvage edt/edp, it's a bit quieter and more orangey. It's a trade off i can make for the edt given the price difference, but not for the edp given how rich and smooth that one is. If I get some more funds, I'm going for the CD edp. In the meantime, this will hold. Thanks MA

Wow. Nice budget buy. It's sweet orange, lavender and woods and lasts for 4 hours. One of my worse performing Lattafa / Maison Alhambra but one people around me love, especially my girl. I can pull it off all year and I think it is really close to something like CD Sauvage EdT. Good if you don't want to spend a lot on this scent profile.

Mix of the Harsh Sauvage EDT and the more refined EDP. I've realized I don't like amberwoods so the entire coach for men, this and the original smell harsh (even the EDP). But unlike Coach it doesn’t dry down into a great smell it keeps the same scent that most pick up as clean/groomed so this ain't for me.

At the price point of 30$ you can get a way better Dior savauge clone such as armaf or fragrance world. It smell similar to Dior just for the first 10 minutes, and then it'll smell like Stinky sweat, or wet cardboard ,on skin this is absolutely trash.

This is similar to Sauvage EDT/EDP but much worse. There's a weird BO undertone to it and the Sauvage DNA is there but it's not at the same time. There's something off with it. Modest Une is a WAY better choice.

I fell again for those fake reviews. I wanted to get a good clone of Sauvage EDP or Parfum but not paying $150. The opening is similar to Sauvage EDP. Five minutes later, it smells nothing like Sauvage. I only smell Vanilla and Alcohol. Don't get deceived by these paid reviews.

I have the og edp which I'm confident to say this perfume is 70% or less close and harsh af. Idk why I get this harsh rubber accord.

I think it's horrible, some people say it's a clone of Dior Sauvage, then i hope the OG Sauvage doesn't smell even close to this.

The fragrance that killed Maison Alhambra for me. Never buying from them again. Low quality, headache inducing mess.
