Sceptre Amazonite

Amazonite. The best budget Falkar dupe by far. I have bought 3 bottles, and It has helped me to make my real Falkar last a long time! For those moments when I want to smell like my signature fragrance, but I don't want to feel like I'm wearing $40 worth in a single day, this is a great alternative. First time I bought this, it was perfect out of the box. Second time it smelt AWFUL, and after a few weeks had macerated into the scent I remembered. So, get this a few months in advance of the autumn and let it sit. That or order it from a retailer that has probably had it sitting on a shelf for a while. The second time I got it from Amazon and it must have been newer stock. I wish this really captured the amazing performance of the original, but it is still satisfactory for the price. The other Sceptre scents are also awesome. I highly recommend them all. This one just happens to be my favorite!

Damn this is good- right out of the box. I’ve never tried Falkar so I can’t say if it’s a good dupe or not but it’s great on it’s own. I get mostly leathery cypriol and oud with some warm fuzziness from the nutmeg and cinnamon. It’s rugged but the texture is light and it’s more airy than bold. Excellent longevity and projection without being suffocating. Personally I would wear it on spring days or even summer nights but it’s definitely a cool weather fragrance. Gucci Guilty Absolute is my all time favorite fragrance and I wouldn’t say they’re super close but there’s a solid chance you will like Amazonite if you like Guilty (or dislike this if you dislike Guilty).

Bought this for AU$44 from Amazon, as out of stock. These buys never usually work out, but it just arrived a month later after I'd forgotten I bought it. First impression, this is super unique. The Cypress, Oud and Musk are amazing and I almost want to get a backup bottle immediately. If you're in to unique niche, ouds, etc, this is a bargain of a pickup. Loved Malachite and Oceana when I first got them, but I'd almost place this above them at this point. Clearly I need to spend more time with Amazonite, but off the rip, it's a banger. A blokey woodsman with a heavy machinery vibe, who likes dirty challenges would wear this.

Spot on falkar clone, bought falkar almost a year ago and been waiting for winter so i can cop this. It was a blind buy in the sense of this perfume but i loved falkar and people seem to agree that its a dead on clone, couldnt agree more 10/10 for me. (I dont know if its just me but i cannot smell the "Polarizing animalic and goat fur notes" nor the "Strong gasoline and diesel-like accord")

I usually wax poetic about my favorite fragrances. However, this one is very straight forward and simple. That is what makes this amazing. It is the best oud and leather fragrance there is. To give you a mental image: this is very similar to Versace Oud Noir and YSL M7. This is so much better than both of those, however. It is sexier, smoother, more masculine, and more wearable than both.

Don't know if this is similar to Falkar or not but is the most unique one in my collection. It's a bit harsh opening of citrus and incense mix but it settles to a masculine woody and manly fragrance after a while. If It could have been done by well known niche brands definitely would have been marked on three figures price. Worth having in your collection for the price selling.

This is REALLY GOOD but it's not a sexy fragrance. It smells like an aromatic open field of tall grass and flowers. Performance is great, opening is super strong. I feel like people are going to acknowledge that you smell amazing but girls are not going to throw their panties at you just cause you passed by them.

The oud in this is a bit different from Traditional middle eastern fragrances. I like how it's done. Scent is a bit light but after having it a week it's got better so I'm sure after a month or 2 it'll be great. I highly recommend this whole line from alhambra. Oceana is absolutely fantastic.

So I love Oud, be it soft westernized takes or the stinky ones. This one has the same level of stinkyness of Montale's Black Aoud's oud, but not the same power and of course no rose. I love it. For the price is ok. Not a blind buy because you must be trained in challenging scents.

Follows a pretty common theme in eastern perfumery by using Oud, Musk and Saffron and olibanum. Just doesn't have any Rose present or any citrus for top notes. The cinnamon and nutmeg are a nice touch.

If Darth Vader had a smell, Sceptre Amazonite would be it: leathery, tarry, smoky, dark, menacing... extremely diffusive and long-lasting. Be careful with the sprays: two may be too much. Beautiful.

A clear homage to Falkar, this fragrance manages to capture roughly 60–70% of its DNA. However, it falls short of fully replicating the original’s signature darkness and depth. Instead, it leans more heavily into spice, where notes like cinnamon, saffron, and cypriol take center stage, standing out more prominently than in Falkar itself. That said, it’s hard to fault the effort. Recreating a high-end, luxurious composition, one that likely relies on premium raw materials is no easy task, especially within a $25–50 price range. Inevitably, some compromises are made. Performance-wise, both longevity and sillage are slightly weaker than the original, but this is hardly a dealbreaker. Given its affordability, the wearer can comfortably apply more without hesitation. Where it truly impresses is in the blend: smooth, cohesive, and remarkably well-executed. It avoids the common pitfalls of many budget fragrances, with no harsh alcohol blast or overtly synthetic character, making it a very respectable interpretation overall.

My mind is going wild trying to understand what it smells like. I get spicy cashmeran like molecule No.5, oud like D&G Velvet Oud, Leather like Guerlain Cuir Intense, the base of Coach black, but somehow you could wear it on any cool night like Tyler below said; It's not too dense. It has a classically luxurious feel to it without feeling too dated. It somehow reminds me of the scent of american crew hair products with added oud.

This one is interesting. Imagine it resembling an animalic, yet smooth goat's fur resting on a dark bed of florals. This is it. Insane performance, to the point where i get enough of it. 12 hours later and i still smell like goat fur. Masculine, floral, animalic, smooth - in one. Oxy moronic, but you gotta try it to know what i'm talking about. Absolutely not blind buy worthy.

Oud-like leathery cool clean spice, like a mens hair product. Long-lasting. Layered this with Lattafa Sehr and a woman stopped and asked what fragrance I was wearing. She kept saying how incredible and beautiful it smelled. She said she doesn't do online purchases, but she was intent on getting these because they were that good.

Grapefruit is definitely there in the opening and lingers quietly in the background in the drydown. It reminds you of Tygar dipped in leather, oud and gasoline. Blind buy on your own risk, the scent is very niche. I got the funniest comments on this. "You smell like an old communist" "It smells like an inside of a Trabant ( small old car made in East Germany) "It smells like toxic slippers from Temu". Personally i also get that plastic chemical scent one user bellow me noticed, so i can understand why this is not a crowd pleaser.

#772 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I bought this scent and a sprayette sample of Bvlgari's "Le Gemme Falkar" for a side-by-side to determine if the Sceptre "Amazonite" is an actual clone. Side-by-side. Opening, dry down, potency. No difference. Amazonite is a dead-on dupe of Bvlgari "Le Gemme Falkar."

Its a dead on clone of falkar but this was unpleasant to my nose, very animalic. I waited a couple of months to see if it gets any better and i ended up selling it for peanuts. Beware, this is the definition of NOT blind buy safe

Anyone with access to gas chromatography equipment? You would do a great service to discover what molecules Lattafa is serving up. Maybe it's allyl amyl glycolate? Some other toxic soup? As with several Lattafa concoctions of late, Amazonite affronts with loud and intrusive hot melted plastic straight from the bottle. The plastic subsides a bit but persists all day. Perhaps the blend will age and transform into something glorious but I am not optimistic because the problems here are so severe. Given the disgusting chemical warfare power of Amazonite, other reviews applauding its performance or comparing it to anything by Bvlgari are suspect.

Wow TIL I don't like animalistic oud. I tried not to blind buy this thing but got a good deal and bit. Wearing it right now. I can't wait to go wash it off of me. I grew up on a farm and that smell of goat fur in the distance is unmistakable............. I mean I guess my nose isn't as refined as I thought it was

Smells like a mold covered rotting corpse. This scent will repel anyone that comes within your scent bubble. I couldn't even give this away.

This is really great, I bought this and Malachite, and this darker bottle and juice is quite amazing. Not the typical middle eastern oud fragrance, I really like how the spices, cypriol and olibanum work together. The presentation is also great. I like the name, it is worthy for amazons.

I dont understand, its a falkar clone or kobraa?
