Sceptre Bronzite

I purchased my second Maison Alhambra fragrance, which is Sceptre Bronzite. My first Lattafa/Alhambra fragrance is Exclusif Tabac, which i disliked. It was linear and nuclearly harsh. The only tobacco note is the top note, then it became a vanilla scent, not bad but boring to the ass. Sceptre Bronzite is different. It doesn't smell cheap, even from the first spray without any need for maturation. This is designer level, on the same vein with Ferragamo uomo line. In fact, this dna is very similar to Salvatore Ferragamo Urban Feel(the blue bottle) mostly for the ambery fresh base. Sceptre Bronzite is less "blue", "shower gel" and more woody. It is also fresh and obviously has a marine note, though it is dry and not aquatic. In the dry down, you can smell the dry vetiver note which is my favorite note, very dry and woody. The fragrance opens with a burst of citrus, it was hard for me to call it a grapefruit note because it wasn't so natural smelling anyway. One can argue that it smells like cheap cleaning orange product, i don't think it's that bad, it's acceptable - only when you smell it upclose. In the air, it's ok, the fragrance is not a potent scent anyway. It is quite airy and fresh. I would say it is 70% stronger than Lalique Encre Noir Sport. The scent has more body and depth. Coming to the middle notes you can smell the amber and the musk kicks in. Quite strange because this is a fresh scent, but the middle note gives an impression of a warm, dry fragrance exactly like the Ferragamo Uomo blue bottle. This scent DNA is not unique at all, however, i'm still happy that i purchased it. Joy Amin called this one the best Maison Alhambra fragrance a few months ago. May be he's right. The bottle is heavy and speaking of quality. The feel of holding it is fantastic. And the atomizer is pressurized, just like the Missoni Wave bottle. I don't really respect this type of atomizer, it feels good but it makes you spread out the fragrance in your body, which would make it project more however decrease the longevity. The longevity of my bottle is appallingly abysmal. 3 hours and it became skin scent. I know it needs maturation time. I have a F Le Parfum from Fragrance World which is a clone of Y Le Parfum. After 6 months of maturation that bottle became a beast.

Wow. Just wow. I love Tygar's DNA. I first smelled it during a trip to Japan and fell in love. Since then I've been toying with the idea of a full bottle. While I can afford it, £400 on cologne just doesn't sit right with me. I get far more of a thrill from something cheap yet sentational. And now thanks to this? My worries of a world without Tygar have been put to bed. This for me is everything Tygar is. It isn't as sparkly or effervescent which comes down to price point. Tygar will be using far higher quality ingredients. But this does everything I love about Tygar. Huge hits of grapefruit and other citruses (I get slight unripe orange with the grapefruit), backed by ginger which has been blended up and smothered on a floor made of ambroxan. Seriously this is ambroxan the way Sauvage does ambroxan. Which is to say, to a degree it's all you can smell. I just got my bottle, did three sprays and my room was filled with the scent. This was a blind buy for me. But I bought it after smelling turathi blue (finding it subpar) and this to my nose is more natural and smells higher quality. Quite a few people on here seem to agree, hence the blind buy. It is definitely closer to Tygar than Turathi, this does the three major notes of Tygar incredibly well and does not smell at all synthetic. I will be wearing this in Istanbul on holiday and I am very excited to do so. Presentation is gorgeous too. Box is great, bottle looks a million bucks and is hefty with one of the best atomisers I own. Now, would I say this is blind buy safe? Due to how heavy the ambroxan is I'd argue no. If you know you love this scent profile like I did, then absolutely. It's like the initial grapefruit blast of BDC, mixed with the ambroxan of sauvage and then you chucked some root ginger in too. Absolutely class. 9/10 - 1 mark deducted for not smelling as sparkly as Tygar

#769 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Right off the bat, this is not a clone of Bvlgari Le Gemme Tygar. Trust me. You won't care. It's certainly closer to Tygar than Turathi Blue, but the lack of musk and ambrette makes it a sharper scent than the Tygar. It's worth owning on its own merits. In the sense that citric freshies all smell very much alike, whether Vuitton L'Immensite, Lattafa Al Qiam Silver, Jean Lowe Immortal, Lacoste L.12.12. Blanc Fraiche, Kajal III, Armaf Caballo, it almost makes no difference. All in the same grapefruit and amber scent category as Tygar, but not Tygar, and neither is this, but again, close enough you won't care. That's true of most of Alhambra's "clones." They aren't trying to be 100% dupes, just similar enough you won't care. Like when "Vanilla Ice" changed the syncopation of David Bowie and Freddy Mercury's "Pressure" so he could claim he didn't directly rip off the track with "Ice, Ice, Baby." Now, bracing for the criticisms for saying this, I like Bronzite better than Tygar. Sharper, fresher, bolder. Tygar is tamer than this, and I if you own this, paying $350 and up for Tygar will never cross your mind. I certainly will never do it again. Tygar is a fine citric freshie. It's not worth $350 and up. I bit the bullet and paid $138 for 19-69's "Miami Blue", and that will probably be the last freshie I ever pay more than $100 for. Bronzite is car pool, elevator and small spaces safe. Totally business appropriate for warmer seasons. Primarily summer day wear. Not date wear for me. Absolutely a safe blind buy.

Just opened and tried this for the first time and all I can say that this stuff means business! I sprayed a couple sprays on my wrist and can still smell it whilst typing this. The projection here is great! This is definitely going to stay in rotation especially for its price. It comes across as a clean and somewhat watery scent which I like. I'm not into overpowering musky leathery fragrances as I like to smell like I've just left the shower. But with Bronzite you get an amazing blend of freshness, a slight hint of sweet spiciness enveloped around a woody essence. This is definitely something you can wear all year round. It's a safe blind buy and can't go wrong for the price! I'd call this a well refined fragrance that is for the modern man! If this smells like a clone of Bvlgari Tygar I can now see why Tygar is considered one of the best if not the best fragrance out there. I've waited some time now and I've got to say the dry down is gorgeous and smells way better than the initial opening. Solid 9/10 for me!

This stuff is super great scent ! I love the dna of Bvl Tygar scent so much and sceptre bronzite smell 90% similar to Tygar. Here is what I get : - Opening : Blast of citrus and grapefruit, create a Fanta/7 Up vibe to it - Mid : The citrus is gone, but the grapefruit is still here, and the Ambroxan/Ambergris is getting stronger. It's create a Tygar elegant vibe. - Base : After 3-4 hours it is going to be skin scent, but still smellable, my girlfriend still smelled it after 6 hours on my skin After 3-4 weeks of Maceration you can smell it slightly Incense in here, which is incredible because I didn't get any incense when I bought it. Totally, I love this scent dna and the Sceptre Bronzite did it very well, it's smell uniqle. This is well-blended fragrance with Grapefruit - Ambroxan - Incense, create a elegant vibes, old money vibes. Suitable for the summer day & night, for someone wearing a black suit, white shirt, polo t-shirt.

With so many Bvlgari tygar alternatives in the market, it's hard for people to study all of them and pick one. But the thing is, no matter which one you pick, at the grand scheme of things, it'll be hard for people to even tell the difference. Sceptre Bronzite is not a bad clone. It smells very, very similar and it's one of the ones I've used that has a good performance. But what I hated was how pungent the musk smelt. I had it for months before I sold it. It gave me solid 8hrs+ on skin with good projection. Now, I'm using Khadlaj Empire Crown, and while it smells more balanced and smooth, the performance isn't that great. I might get Arabiyat Prestige Nashwa Cologne, next, or maybe Aariz(sospiro vibrato twist). These two would cover every area for me, but they're more pricey.

Nose Note #604 This is a little different from Al Qiam Silver Lattafa and Théorème Homme Rue Broca. This is a little sweeter, the other two don't feel sweet to me at all. The ginger in the two is biting and nicely bitter, here it's less so. This is perhaps a little more crowd-pleasing than Al Qiam. Is the difference that noticeable? Not that much, but if you are picky... You definately don't have to own more than one Tygar clone. One of these is enough. This and Al Qiam perform about the same. Theoreme I think is a little more long lasting. 9/10, great like all of them

I get more compliments from this than my $330 bottle of L’Immensite. I genuinely don’t understand why because I see my more expensive bottles as being more complex. But this stuff just performs. Extremely pleasant and likable. Lasts forever on my skin too. Idk if it’s because I let my bottle macerate but I’ve never had any performance issues. This will outperform Ingenius Ginger as well as Vibrato too. It may be relatively linear but it just is an absolutely easy dumb reach. I want 10 bottles of this stuff

Ever since I got tygar, Ive been wearing it almost every day. So I decided to pick up this clone, which even looks very similar to tygar. (Turathi blue is just too ugly for me.) compared to tygar, sceptre bronzite is slightly sweeter and a bit brighter. there is a alcohol in the opening, but it disappears within a min. It feels more unisex and casual. In the air, it smells about 95% similar to Tygar. longevity 3–4 hours, honestly feels same as tygar. If you love Tygar, just buy it.

Love the scent. Hate the performance. Excellent Tygar accuracy—for about ten minutes... then it's gone like ground fog at sunrise. If you overspray like an anosmic teenager you might get an hour out of this. It's a shame, too. Again, the smell is exquisite, and the presentation classy and beautiful. But... if you need it all day, you'll need the entire bottle with you. That's a bit of an exaggeration, of course. A 5ml travel spray decant will probably last all day. ;-)

I refunded my original bottle , but then 2 weeks later I decided to reorder as this scent couldn't leave my mind.It was stuck with me. I re bought it. for the price this is a beautiful scent with the longevity lasting me about 7 hours projection isn't insane , defeniteley decent for the price though.I would like to mention that the scent is very versatile and mass appealing therefore leading to compliments. I recommend this a lot! rating of 8.8 for the price of £16

amazing by alhambra !!! it's 95% like Tygar with beautifull bottle and presentation. projection is more power than longivity, first hour projection is nucular and secend hour is strong too and became to skin scent after that and has longivity for maximum 3 hours. for the price point it's steal. for me one of top 3 of maison alhambra . scent : 10/10 longevity : 7/10 projection : 8/10 price point : 10/10 overal : 8.5/10 strongly recommend this.

One of my favourite scents ever is Parfums De Marly Perseus so it's safe to say that I enjoy grapefruit. When I first smelled this I didn't know what to think. It is extremely unique and I wouldn't say that it smells rich, but it smells like wisdom. Grapefruit backed by a little ambroxan and a touch of musk. I think that this is insane value and if you want a grapefruit fragrance that isn't as dry as Hermes, look no further.

This stuff made me decide to sell my bottle of Vibrato. I also have Alexandria Black Panther and Michael Malul Terra Nova. Don't get me wrong, the Vibrato smells better and lasts much longer, but I can't justify the price difference with how cheap this is. It has a much darker opening that I actually prefer to BP and Vibrato, the dry down is similar. Again, I prefer Vibrato and BP, but it's not enough while this is only $17.

Fantastic stuff Citrus musky ambroxan with a hint of ginger. Great for summer but I love wearing this on cooler days too as it's fleshing and can punch through the cold. The only other perfume that does this is for me is Creed Himalaya. So this is a huge love for me. The presentation is great too! 10/10 - I wouldn't change anything about this if I could, it's rounded, performs well, looks great and smells even better.

Opens like an orange soda, with a lot of citrus, it reminds me of the energy drink 'Monster Khaos'. This soda smell lasts for maybe 30 mins. As it dries down it smells a little bit more clean and floral, overall really nice scent. I don't know the smell of either Tygar or Vibrato to compare, but for the price, this one is really worth it. 6 - 7 hours in my skin with 1 - 1,5 hours of moderate projection.

Killer Tygar dupe. Cheap and attention grabbing. Non-Offensive crowd pleaser vibes that never fails to get compliments. I have two other friends who wear this exact bottle. One has already bought a few bottles in advance since he runs out often! I recommend all the sceptre line scents! These rock. The bottle rocks. They are accurate dupes and even if they weren't, they smell awesome. Pick this up.

All I can say (at least as a first impression) is that the packaging is great and the bottle is mesmerizing, heavy, attractive and luxurious-looking. The fragrance is beautiful. Fresh, elegant and understated. But, longevity is a major downside. Sillage is alright, not a monster but definitely perceptible from an arm distance. I’ll give it some time and see.

Smells EXACTLY like Sospiro Vibrato. 96% likeness. Personally, I like buying the clone AND the original. This was on sale on Frangracenet for under $20. I recently became obsessed with Vibrato and was heard this was a good dupe. I really don't know how they do it. If you like Vibrato and don't want to spend the $$$$, you will not be disappointed!

Wear couple of sprays of Khalis Musk (Pure Musk) from Lattafa, to complement the missing musk base note and becomes indistinguishable from Tygar, they cost 75$ together which is far cheaper than Bvlgari's 600$!!, and the notes aren't blended well but 2-3 months will fix that up.

Grapefruit + ginger, simple yet absolutely beautiful! Smells high end, natural, sparkling and not overly sweet, quiet unique. Best suited for summer of course but works in spring and during warmer autumn days too. Ultimate value right here ladies and gentlemen, LOVE IT!

Bronzite punches way above its weight. For the price, it absolutely can't be beat. It's well blended, versatile, classy, inoffensive, and a compliment getter. I find myself reaching for it often, and even bought a backup bottle. I couldn't recommend this more highly.

I don't have Tygar but Vibrato and this scent is like 90% close to Vibrato. The downside is the performance, really lackluster, disappears pretty much after 2 hours. I'll let my bottle sit in the dark for awhile and will revisit to see if anything changes.

This is so fire, for the $16 bucks it costs its a banger. Like others are saying, lasts about as long as a fart. Turathi blue has superior longevity but I dont buying perfumes to wear, I just like to sniff / huff them so Im not bothered

Top Tier! I would recommend this to anyone, Im sure I will buy another bottle of this! Give it a try guys. Good for a blind buy too.. Masculine, citrus notes like blood orange or grapefruit. Also the price is very friendly!

I have Tygar and Sceptre Bronzite and tried them side by side, Tygar is little bit more of quality but Bronzite is for the price very very good. In terms of scent they are the same, for normal people it smells the same

Maceration is key with this whole line. I agree with the last review this is a monster. Super impressive for a freshie. Projection is insane and longevity is very good. It's very close to beast mode. 9/10

I have Sceptre Bronzite and also i have a Turathy Blue In my opinion Sceptre Bronzite is little more better balanced cologne then Turathy Blue and longevity is better with Turathy Blue. I love them both!

Esse perfume é bem mais redondo que o Turathi, tenho os dois e gostei muito mais desse, mais requintado e sem pontas soltas, o turathi é muito cortante, assusta na saída. E o preço então, uma maravilha.

To me it's a little bit sweeter take than my Theoreme, but both last hours on my skin. Great projection, great smell, amazing pressurized atomizer, great for layering experiments too. Big 👍🏼👍🏼

I've had this a few weeks but just wore it today. Pretty nice fragrance. Sillage is decent and I like the scent profile. Smells like a sprite/ginger ale. Almost has a fizzyness to it. 8/10.

love at first sight! Was just sniffing through different fragrances at a store and this one instantly grabbed my attention. Had to buy it. After 10 to 12 sprays, stored for maceration.

For those that say sillage and performance aren't great let it macerate. I promise it'll get better. Out of all my fragrances this line from alhambra benefited most from maceration.

Best fucking tygar dupe. Maybe even better my all time favorite scent. I bought it because obviously tygar is expensive and this is a really affordable dupe. thumbs up 10/10

This is just fresh luxury wearable masterpice fragance! It longevity is long enough after maceration and projection is lingeringly strong.

Having smelled Bvlgari Tygar recently and really falling in love with the grapefruit, musk, ambroxan DNA, I was eager to find something that did something similar with an easier price point. Bronzite stood out to me because of its simplicity, keeping the notes true to what I expected. Upon receiving it and trying it, I can safely say that it absolutely does recreate the DNA of Bvlgari Tygar, nearly spot on. Especially after the initial 30 seconds passes, the general citrus-y vibe changes into a clear fresh grapefruit with a clean musk and amber background. Deeply impressed by the similarity and absolutely gobsmacked by the quality of the atomizer in this price point. However, if there's one thing I can say about it, is that it doesn't nearly last as long as Bvlgari Tygar does on my skin. It basically evaporates completely within 1 to 2 hours, maybe 3 if it isn't too warm. That being said, at the price point it's being offered at I don't mind respraying or overspraying to get a bit more longevity out of it. The smell is addictive and makes me feel fresh and clean and light. If it had a bit more performance I'd go absolutely crazy for it, but for now, I like it and I'm definitely happy that I purchased it. Maybe when it macerates it'll have a bit more performance, but straight out of the bottle, this is my experience with it.

Opens up with Tangy grapefruit that instantly reminds me Azure from Bentley. They shared the same vibes but Azure are more creamier and sweeter than Bronzite. Bronzite going with the smoky undertone and retain the smokiness untill the drydown. I think the ginger played a good role as balancer between dry Grapefruit and smoky Ambroxan, the ginger fills the room as conduit within these 2 smells. I also smelled a hint a pineapple in the opening. Its bright, likeable, but nothing unique at all. The quality is absolutely fantastic for its price, for 350k IDR it doesnt smelled synthetic at all. I would layer it with more spicy balsamic fragrance to make more depth on the scent. Longevity is great for a freshie, it lasted 7hrs+ on skin and 12hrs+ on fabric. Sillage is within arm length, good for proper office scents, but the biggest strength lies in the projection. This one projects like crazy for more than 6hrs before became a skin scent. Scent: 7 Projection: 9.5 (it never stops project within the sillage, everyone will notice even its past 5hrs you sprayed it) Longevity: 7.8 (freshie that last more than 6hrs? check!) Sillage: 7 (slightly above average)

I'll be as succinct as possible. Smells very watery (fresh water musk, not marine sea water) with sweetened grapefruit. That's literally it; very simple; and no ginger. Like smelling pool-side musk along with a cup of grapefruit cordial. Smells like the sweetened-grapefruit version of LV Afternoon Swim. If you don't know, grapefruit smells like a novel and classier version of lemon or bergamot, and newbies will just think of it as 'citrus'. In my personal opinion, it's only suitable for the absolute hottest of summer days, and otherwise is a bit too boring and has no bite or punchiness that I like in my fragrances. This is a fragrance for noses that don't like anything too strong or punchy. FYI I've let my bottle maturate for a couple months already.

90%-95% similar to Maison Alhambra Daring Blue For Life (D&G Light Blue Forever Pour Homme clone). This Maison Alhambra Sceptre Bronzite simply smells like a cordial grapefruit with lots of fresh-water musk and very slightly sweeter, whereas Maison Alhambra Daring Blue For Life smells like a slightly-realistic rindy grapefruit with lots of fresh-water musk. Sceptre Bronzite is slightly more mass-appealing, and Daring Blue For Life has slightly more character. Almost identical though. Their fresh-water musk is the same watery note you find in LV Afternoon Swim and LV L'Immensite. This is purely a summer scent.

When I smell this side-by-side with Turathi Blue, Bronzite feels more watery. Yes, it's sweeter than Theireme and Turathi, with an almost watermelony tone (from the calone aroma chemical). Its also light, like Theorem, Turathi smells like gummy, sweet orange oil up close, and I don't like that sweet accord in Bronzite. Bronzite smells both cheap and expensive at the same time, weird I know. Its that watery note doing it. Of the three, I prefer Theorem for its more natural-smelling composition. Still, in the air, all three are going to smell very similar, and I wouldn't say I dislike Bronzite.

Sceptre Bronzite opens with a fresh, semi-sweet citrus musk that resembles Bvlgari Tygar. It’s a pleasant linear composition without the harsh opening often found in Middle Eastern fragrances. Three sprays give me four hours of longevity on clothing. I’ve tested six sprays, but found myself going nose-blind rather quickly, so I’d recommend reapplying instead of over-spraying from the start. Considering both the presentation and the quality of the fragrance, it offers excellent value for its price.

So happy I bought this, it’s excellent for the price. Longevity is pretty good once it’s had a few weeks to mature. Yes it’s got the Sospiro vibrato similarities, a great freshie to have for the gym or for the sunny days, inoffensive and office friendly. An easy reach, keep it in my car for a quick refresher. You are not going to get the longevity of a niche fragrance costing £200+ but you can get the DNA for a fraction of the cost that smells fresh, clean and uplifting.

Testing this and turathi blue simultaneously. Turathi blue opens much brighter and sharper, similar to Vibrato, retains some unpleasantness untill the dry down, where both are indiscernible. Sceptre bronzite is fresh, smooth and deep from the beginning. Better quality throughout, longevity is the same for me. This is the obvious winner.

Reminds me of Tygar and Ingenious Ginger, lesser so Ingenious Ginger because it lacks that orange creamsicle tanginess in the dry-down. Either way, really nice and smooth, highly recommend if you can find it for under $40CAD, I managed to pick it up for around $32 before tax. 8/10
