Sugar Me Dulce de Leche

If you have sugar me carrot cake then you have this one already. I don’t really smell any major differences between the two. This one is less “nutmeggy” and less carrotty than carrot cake one. I wouldn’t buy both just choose which you would prefer in nuances and save money. If I had to choose between the two I would pick the carrot cake one, it is the best one in that set. The crème brûlée one has a weird pungent thing in it that I don’t find pleasant (that is in time out currently to hopefully tame it down).

@Brooke Thompson These have been on the market since September... at least in UK. They're widely available from TikTok, eBay, and online Arabian fragrance shops, even the prices dropped by now since they initially launched. Looks like a lot of reviewers bought them a while ago. Edit/responce: I get your stance about coverage. There was close to nothing online, these were available to buy but no reviews or influ content floating about. I found very little videos, eventually influ "leaking" content and just went for 3 out of the 6 fragrances based on the notes and own judgement +maybe the 3 videos found online. I see this happening more often with arabian perfumes. I've just ordered a chocolate flanker from the French Avenue (same bottle as Coconut Leche but brown) line and there's no buzz online yet, no reviews and very little options to purchase it from (literally 2 sources, tiktok and one arabian frag retailer in UK), it's bizzare. But tbh I get a lot of arabian fragrances before they go viral or influencers hype them - purely because I follow the market and catch the stuff pretty quickly the second I see it somewhere online and it's something my taste. I might not buy immediately, just to make sure it's legit and I rather buy from the best source at the best price. I've just literally ordered 4 new arabian perfumes which if you aren't searching for specifically, you may not even heard about. One isn't even on Fragrantica yet (the chocolate one), but I have seen 2 out of 4 being slow-dropped/hinted about on fragrance YT channels, being introduced as "I shouldn't even be speaking about these, the realease is in spring" and we're in December and they're on the way to me in the post, so...? 🙃 I've noticed some arabian frags have faster release in US tho, like apparently Zimaya Smores is already out???? I've ordered it in UK too already, but again, it's not yet fully roaming on tiktok, ebay and other. Of you don't knownit exists, you will find out once the influ release their content and stuff goes viral. If anyone in UK is reading this and is also into gourmand releases and arabian frags speciffically. I'm thinking of setting up a forum on fragrantica where we can drop our first hints where to buy very very fresh releases which just peaked on the market 👀👀👀 drop a DM ✌️

Are we getting all 6 perfumes from this line on Fragrantica? Unreleased stuff is already on here and they can't update perfumes which came out at least 2 months ago, quite embarrassing...anyway. Dulce de leche doesn't smell like dulche de leche. It smells like hazelnut and caramel. It is very strong on the hazelnut. It's not creamy or velvety, it's just sweet and nutty. I like it, but it's not what I expected. It's not even leaning towards Nutella, it has no chocolate, it's like hazelnut paste. Which is not bad, but if you wanted dulce de lache, it's not it! I also have: Creme Brule - fenomenal. Smells exactly like creme brule, the burnt sugar from the top of the desert. My fav from the 3 scents I've picked up from this line. Pistachio chocolate - doesn't smell like pistachio. It's extreamly coconutty! It smells like roasted coconut flake cookies drizzled in a bit of choc. The coconut and cookie scent is predominant. You need to like coconut to like it or tolerate it. It's extremely strong. I sprayed my night gown with it and it was going strong for 48h, to the point I actually had enough of it after such time. So spray with caution! I'm waiting for more reviews of the cotton candy and marshamllow as so far I heard they're both leaning floral. And the 6th one, carrot cake I don't have any interest in. I've smelled carrot perfume, or perfume with carrot note and it's not something I like.

I purchased this one and the Pistachio one back in September (and asked on the forum to have them added to the database on September 30th), so they've definitely been available for a couple of months. That being said; Dulce de Leche is basically the ol’ ‘vanilla caramel latte’ of perfumes. It’s creamy, sweet, and inoffensively pleasant. You’ll notice caramel, milk, and a hint of tonka bean... and then promptly forget it five minutes later. It’s Molten Caramel’s meek little cousin: softer, sweeter, and with absolutely zero drama. MC is a bit more salty - and overall stronger. It' nice to have around, but don’t expect anyone to write songs about it or even remember you’re wearing it. Longevity/sillage are, surprisingly for Maison Alhambra, pretty weak.

@K Sweetleaf no need to put a tantrum. This is a perfume forum, we don't need to be rude to each other, we're here to enjoy our time out of the other nonse we're dealing with in our daily life. Let's at least enjoy sniffing and commenting on the perfume alone.

It smells like Condensed milk with a dash of cinnamon. I actually really like it. However, the scent only lasted a very short while. I feel like it disappeared when it dried down.

When I saw the notes I immediately blind bought. When it arrived, I tried and sold the next day. This was not what I expected or wanted. Yes it’s sweet, but not creamy and almost soapy on my skin. I didn’t like it at all.

She did it to me last week on a review as well, then proceeded to harass by messages. But thanks for your opinion on a situation you know nothing about. Go peek at her bio to see what we're dealing with..yeahhh, reason with that. Look, I'd love to just discuss fragrance here too (as I have done in all my previous reviews except for the 2 that involve her, again AFTER her accusing me of lying about longevity) but troll ass ppl like this unfortunately make that more and more difficult.

I think the description of the notes lacks a prominent one: the hazelnut, which is really present in this perfume. It's a winter/autumn fragrance with a nutty side, it has caramel/ hazelnut/ brown sugar/ vanilla and it's not as creamy as i was expecting it to be, but I'm not complaining it introduced me to the hazelnut note which I'm unfamiliar with and that i think is a classy and warm smell to wear, it makes me want to hug myself A good choice for layering with other vanilla fragrances

I bought this one over two months ago, and gave it as a present to a young girl after one spray. Not because it is not good, it is in fact very nice, but has got absolutely nothing to do with Dulce de Leche: this is a hazelnut nougat scent. For those familiar with Spanish and Italian Christmas desserts, this is a Turón or Torrone scent. It lasted about 3 hours on skin before maceration, just FYI ;)

Got a sample of this and it smells a lot like the carrot cake one? Is that just me?

Its nice. At first a little nutty and the dry down is like a biscuit with caramel.

Those notes make my teeth hurt! 🤣
