True Word

I've given True Word over a month to develop on me and can say it's basically a lightly fruity, cooling pineapple-vanilla shower-gel scent, combining fruity sweetness from pineapple and vanilla with a bit of cooling shower-gel – all in "supermarket ice cream quality," though. How does it smell: True Word opens with a citrusy-blue burst on first spray, carrying that cooling shower-gel effect that comes across very masculine, fresh, and appealing. Right from the first spray, it refreshes and cools nicely, giving off a synthetic freshness without feeling cheap. Citrusy-blue, a touch of green shower-gel with a cooling effect – masculine, sporty, and clean. After a few seconds, a (supposed pineapple) vanilla combination joins in, which reminds me more of ice cream from the supermarket freezer aisle. If pineapple weren't listed in the fragrance pyramid, I'd never have guessed it was used here. It's essentially a lightly fruity vanilla combo for summer, evoking vanilla ice cream with a very slight shower-gel effect. As with other Maison Alhambra releases, I can't precisely identify the individual notes in this fragrance, since they come across as quite synthetic. Performance: The first 30 minutes have very noticeable sillage, and you can smell it on yourself continuously – I don't experience the usual "nose blindness" with this one. Even after about five to six hours in high heat, you can still smell the fragrance on your shirt and that vanilla sweetness on your skin in the evening. For a summer scent, True Word performs well. For the very low price, this is a good fragrance with good performance. As an overall concept, it's a nice lightly fruity and vanilla-forward scent, though it doesn't blow me away in terms of its individual components, since it simply smells fairly synthetic. Anyone who just wants to smell good and have an affordable summer fragrance can go ahead and get this one, though. For me, this is probably my last Lattafa and definitely my last Maison Alhambra.

Nose Note #1005 I have a couple of Blue Talisman dupes. Imagine Taj 2, but much less indian-spicy. Imagine Azure Royal, but much less sparkly, less sweet, less feminine and with weaker pear note. Hayaati Blue Talesm is basically like True Word but stronger. True Word still has the recognizable DNA (I have not tested the OG, but judging by all the dupes the common traits are very clear). True Word is kind of in the middle of them all. The biggest downside is that it's rather weak. Comparing to Azure Royal, for example, True Word is really not worth even the little money offered. I'm not the biggest fan of this DNA at all and all the dupes I have I've got at random. I just want to say that Azure Royal is substantially different from all the others and is just amazing - the strongest of them all and the best on a woman. Unisex leaning feminine. Under moderate performance. 6.8/10, pleasant and pleasing, but not my cup of tea

Opens with the ginger and pear. Smell wise, it's actually a solid clone, smells similar to any of the other dupes. It sits somewhere between legacy and electric in the scent. I cannot recommend as it only projects moderately for about 30 minutes, then becomes a faint skin scent, totally gone after 3-4 hours. Performance on this would make me prefer any of the other interpretations I have tried.

@Fragrantica I don’t know that you have the right notes listed for this fragrance. Maison Alhambra True Word is most definitely a Blue Tailsman/Art of Universe inspired scent. The notes listed do not reflect that.

Very weak dont Buy this fragrance.

Absolutely weak... I've never came across a fragrance that the second it comes out of the atomizer. It instantly becomes a skin scent.... one of if not, the weakest fragrance I've ever came across... The scent itself is really good... It's just not strong......What.....so......ever.. Mason Alhambra usually puts out solid products, but in this particular instance, I would choose something else... normally I don't feel like I've thrown my money away.... but in this instance, I 100% feel like I did
