Vogue Night

Vogue Night is my favorite fragrance from this collection. The packaging is 80's glam and gaudy; I love that! This fragrance is long lasting, sexy, and unisex. Like seriously, this fragrance would be great on a man and a woman. It does lean a bit masculine, but it appeals to a mysterious vibe when worn by a woman. I enjoy the heavy dark berries in the opening; for me these notes stay the entire time. I bought this fragrance so that I would have all of the fragrances in the Maison Alhambra Vogue collection; but it was the caramel that made me excited to purchase Vogue Night. I was not expecting the blackberries at all! The aquatic notes make this fragrance so cool to me. I also enjoy how this fragrance develops. Everything doesn't come at once, and each layer of notes fade to the background while remaining present throughout. They blend well as they come together. The orange is delicious, and instead of being overpowering, the pachouli kinda stirs the juice. Today, I paired Vogue Night with Victoria Secret's Rush lotion and mist. It's 24 degrees right now where I live, and Vogue Night is doin' its thang. I cannot wait to wear it in the warmer months. Oh yeah, it's been over 9 hours with one application, and I can still smell Vogue Night on my clothing and skin.

Cuando lo compre me pareció bastante lineal y un poco más a lo femenino, pero después 1 mes y medio de maceración es sorprendente el cambio de notan mucho más las notas cítricas de bergamota y acuáticas muy fuertes, el caramelo sigue presente en toda la evolución del perfume pero lo equilibra muy bien el ambar gris y el almizcle que lo mantienen a raya, tiene una nota de jazmín y flores blancas pero no es prominentemente femenina, la frambuesa es una delicia, diria que es bastante masculino. Un perfume riquísimo unisex pero más masculino, ideal para una noche de Primavera y Otoño. Excelente creación de Maison Alhambra que me sigue sorprendido. Dura 6 o 7 horas proyectando bastante las primeras 2 horas. Pará usar vestido de manera formal camisa blanca, jeans y náuticos. Saludos desde Argentina!

Un perfume unisex pero un poco más masculino

So for me this scent opens with a strong blast of syrupy dark berries. Blueberries and blackberries. It almost smells like pancake syrup, but there's a green edge to it and something slightly spicy. It is definitely giving fruitchouli for me, nothing super aquatic. It reminds me of the perfume Heat by Beyoncé. I think that's discontinued so if you like that one then try this one out. It also smells similar to Q Donna from Armaf, which I got sick of after like a month. It's super strong and lasts all day on my clothes. Lasts a few hours on my skin. I think it definitely has the potential to become nauseating so I wouldn't overspray. I probably won't repurchase this again just cause the scent profile isn't my cup of tea.

These bottles hilariously look like something Avon would put out in the 80s. It’s not a chic vintage look either.. they look like my Grandma’s old bottle of Odyssey.. or Night Musk. At least they are not nearly as ugly as Lattafa’s antiquities bottles. I’ll never get over the ham radio one.
