Musk Bushi Sensei

I adore this perfume, wasn't necessarily expecting to. Got the small size to try it out, ordered another larger size. It's a beautiful nag champa style incense, especially as time goes on. Don't really smell the other notes listed, except there is some animalic deer musk style musk. The picture of the "white musk" on the Fragrantica notes that you can vote for is misleading. If you are a sucker for nag champa incense scents for your skin, and can take a wee bit of skank, check this one out.

Nag Champa, Roses, Honey, Musk and Ambre Sultan all get in bed together in this beautiful loud and strong perfume oil. Reminds me of the 80s in the best way possible.

Pretty blend of honeyed rose, osmanthus and musk with unexpected nag champa qualities. Frankincense not being able to create that aspect by itself, I wonder what else may have been added to give it this. Dry down brings it closer to a laundry white musk, still retaining some of the rest of it’s elements. Being a nag champa connoisseur I quite enjoy it, but not being one for strong white musks, it doesn’t quite make my favorite list. The rose also stands out just a bit too much for me. Sillage moderate, longevity high. For 3g for around $20, not a bad deal at all. Bravo, good sir!

Beautiful floral/rose heavy scent with a little honey sweetness and a touch of smoke or incense in the background. Got it as a free sample when ordering some others from MAM. As it dries down the incense comes out much more and makes this more unisex and interesting. It's definitely a scent that is growing on me. Thirty to forty-five minutes after it turns incense heavy, it changes again and the rose begins to become more prominent. It's fascinating just how much this changes through the life of the scent.
