Sheikh Al Faransi

Shaykh al Faransi - translates to "The French Shaykh" This is signature scent worthy. A very potent attar that lasts me 12 hours easily with it still leaving a beautiful aromatic heavenly scent trail. Let me tell you this thing has 4 different dry down stages and smells complex. 1at stage: At first the attar is all over the place. You will get acquainted with the DNA right away, its a big blast from the authentic ambergris that makes all the notes explode in the air. Its a beautiful and the most handsome Ambergris-Rose-Honey-Chocolate scent. Its blended to perfection 👌. Forget about Alexandria 1/2 or Roja Amber Aoud. This is way better. This is modern Royalty. This is a Kings scent, smells modern and not outdated. The oud, saffron, amber and sandalwood are there for support in the background you dont even notice them. The authentic ambergris is there from the beginning to end. This thing has no end even after taking a shower. 2nd stage: After about hour and a half you get this most beautiful blend of rose honey chocolate and ambergris. Nothing stands out, every note is actually recognizable to the nose. The ambergris gives off this mild salty oceanic glow that's soft and airy that pushes the Top notes to the front, never letting go. Have you ever smelled authentic ambergris before? Its so addictive you have no idea. I never get tired of smelling it. My brain tells my nose to specifically go behind all the notes to sniff out the ambergris. Every time 3rd Stage: Now it becomes more chocolately. The dna stays intact but the chocolate is playing a slightly bigger role now. This is my favorite part of the attar. I love this stuff. Its so unique smelling. This goes on for a good 2 hours. BTW its STILL leaving a scent trail around me. Its currently 91 degrees here, hot and humid. It pops off my skin in the humid and cool environments. Every time I enter a cool building the attar stays intact. Still giving off royal fumes around me. 4th Stage: in the ultimate dry down you get the authentic Ambergris still glowing. Never letting go. Yes the dna is there in the back but greatly reduced. I guess the base of this attar is the authentic ambergris. At this stage the ambergris is salty and airy, ozonic, very addictive. I like to put my nose close the skin and take a good whiff. Very addictive scent. I got a 2ml and this is my 2nd summer using it. The 6ml full bottle has a bigger stick to spread the attar. With every dip of the stick I spread it just across an area of a quarter on each of my forearms and inner elbows. I did that twice. And then on the neck behind the ear lobes. Twice also. If you put on more, it will lasts you longer. If you take a shower its still on there like a strong skin scents. It fades away on the 2nd day. This is truly a masterpiece.

This may just become one of my signature scents. Just outstanding and deserving of all the praise it gets. Truly a remarkable attar, long lasting, decent projection for an attar and so complex. I really hope that this gem can be produced for a lot of years to come since it would be a shame for it to get discontinued for reasons out of Anthony's control. I may as well back up on some bottles since the 6ml I have will last me a long time. So if you are reading this and you are curious about this brand please try this attar I promise you won't regret it and the people of this brand are one of the friendliest of the industry

Addictive, and alluring, has depth to it. The amber is very dense and slightly incensey, the sweetness is a tad bit jammy and fresh in a way, due to the ambergris, the oud is tamed, there's some black musk vibe, subtle sandalwood in the dry down, strangely gives off patchouli-chocolatey whiffs too in between. Overall, the scent is very regal. It reminds me of the Indian "Paan" Desert ever so slightly. But still packs a lot of strength, character, and composure. The best release from this house, without a doubt. It's an absolute delight to wear this gem. 10/10

A luxurious and delectable nectar of the gods. Everything I love about perfume is on full display here. This is such a majestic, rich and mysteriously smokey masterpiece of honey, oud, and ambergris accords. Far more rich than it is sweet, this attar blends themes of luxury, mystery, warmth, and darkness into a fragrance that's nothing short of perfection and easily my "one for life" perfume.

OMG this one right here is heavenly. It competes with my bangers from Kilian, Amouage and Clives. Literally lasts all day, it has authentic ambergris inside and it smells so addictive. This is one of my first attars and I love it. It's a perfect blend of honey sweetness, chocolate, wood, a little spice, and florals. Very easy to wear and not off putting in any way. Just a beautiful, addictive scent overall.

Amazing scent from MAM, maybe the best. The white chocolaty undertones with the amber are beautifully blended, the Oud doesn't really stands out on its own. Great performance and a crowd pleaser for sure. GG

One of the best attar / oils. Unique and refreshing. Good projection for about 2 hours and then a skin scent for me for about 4 hours. Try rubbing on clothes for better longevity. Shukran Habibi!

Highly pleasant. So, here are the two main reasons I bought a 6ml bottle: I'd rather spend money on perfume than on shipping costs, (shipping is free after $300 USD to the USA) and it's obviously pleasant, a real potential crowd-pleaser. I thought it would be an easy wear and likable by many even before I checked Fragrantica after having purchased it. It starts out with camphorous whiffs which quickly dissipate. There is then a little trail of cinnamon-like spice. These notes quickly give way to a light and pleasant floralcy which is not overwhelming, and which keeps me coming back to sniff. There is nothing repugnant or difficult. There are no fecal notes. It doesn't last as long as some of the other attars by this house, and for the price, it really should, but also for the price, it is a genuinely nice perfume that will be enjoyed by many. It's a nice perfume. You could wear it day or night and be pleasantly enveloped. I think better for the cooler months.

Its good. The dry down is even better. I wish, it would last longer on my skin. However, I would love to keep it in my collection always InShaAllah.

The attar is beautiful boozy chocolate. I have over 15 from the house. However, I am starting to believe maybe they are overpriced for what you get. Some of them or my untrained nose are quite similar in smell such such as sheikh faransi FBI

Anthony Marmin is nothing short of a maestro. If you want a beast mode perfume that smells incredible then you need to get your hands on this one. The ouds are soft and gentle and the honey, amber and chocolate are blended seamlessly. I'm generally quite a hot blooded person and this radiates off my skin like nothing else I have in my collection: you can literally feel it buzzing into the air around you. The ambergris is natural and inoffensive and acts like a cradle for the other notes and the rose is deep and thick but I needed to search for it. This is my first from this house and has left me looking at the rest of my collection wondering why I bothered for most of it. I will definitely buy more from this house and received a generous few samples, all of which are stunning and I will review those as I wear them.

This is journey for sure. Anthony Marmin does all the notes delicately with a classy vibe. A very nice experience! Some have said business/formal, but it can also be an ambient fragrance for whatever.
