Yasmine

I have a jasmin shrub in my garden and when it blooms and you can smell the scent of the white flowers in the evening , it's pure magic! This perfume is exactly that on my skin. I don't get the other notes. This is better than Tataouine. For me it's simply the BEST jasmin perfume I found so far. I will get a full tola bottle ASAP. Edit 25.06.24 : so grateful I was able to buy a tola before they discontinued it. I'm so sad they discontinued another masterpiece.

I know this musk will be the death of me..sigh. I really do not like the smell of musk on my skin because it dries down to a sweaty body odor to me. Anyhow I love the smell of jasmine so much, I decided to give this attar a try. In the opening I get way more Iris than jasmine, so the scent is distinctly powdery to me...reminiscent of baby powder. Edit: the jasmine in here is quite animalic..i never knew until recently that jasmine could come across animalic. somehow on a first sniff my nose also picks up hints of a plum note and maybe something like melon..but on second sniff I lose these notes, so I am not sure if these notes are actually in this fragrance or my nose is playing tricks.
