Maison Asrar DXB – A Hidden Gem This was love at first sniff. The quality and craftsmanship are outstanding for the price point. It opens with a bright, realistic blend of orange citrus and a subtle kick of ginger, all wrapped in a soft, clean musk. The composition leans very natural—there’s nothing harsh or synthetic about it. Surprisingly, it doesn’t carry the typical Middle Eastern fragrance DNA—no oud, no incense, nothing smoky or overly bold. Just a fresh, smooth, and easygoing scent. The ginger note is noticeable at the top but fades quickly within the first 30 seconds. I haven’t smelled the original, so I can’t compare, but Maison Asrar definitely has something special here. Maison Asar DXB is a surprisingly good ultra-budget clone of LV Afternoon Swim, but it definitely gives off that "not quite there" feeling. It captures the overall vibe perfectly in the opening with a very similar bright, citrusy blast, and for the price, it's honestly a steal. However, if your nose is used to higher-quality blends, you'll easily spot the difference. It lacks the juicy, hyper-realistic depth of the original LV, and the dry down feels a bit linear and slightly synthetic by comparison. Overall, it's a fantastic, cheap dumb-reach for hot summer days, just don't expect the exact same magic as the original.

This is a decent alternative to AS and honestly smells really good but there are a few drawbacks. When I first got it, there was this very unpleasant cilantro note but after 3-4 wears and a week of maceration it is completely gone. The people in these reviews likely didn’t give it some time for testing. Although I think it’s good, the original is still a league above it just because of the quality and refinement of the scent. This one does last longer though and has about the same projection. It just smells like an extremely smooth citrus fragrance with a watery smell to it which I love.

Got this because I was intrigued by LV's Afternoon Swim, but didn't want to pay LV prices only to get weak performance and longevity. Initially, this gave a cilantro scent up close and I was VERY disappointed, so I just started spraying it on my back and legs, because the juicy orange scent projects further than the perceived cilantro and was always very nice. I don't know if a month's time made the difference, or if I have just gotten used to it, but the cilantro smell I initially picked up is gone and now it's just one of my easiest reaches for the summer.

I was looking for a good afternoon swim alternative, then someone recommended this. I would say the scent profile is 85-90% similar especially the dry down and possibly better performance than the original which is a positive looking at the price. Bottle feels heavy which is a plus as i bought it as a gift for husband's bday. He wears it quite a lot. I don't think he realizes that the bottle looks like the frame of Dubai. He should do as he commutes daily to Dubai from Sharjah 😂😂

This is the best Afternoon Swim interpretation on the market. Deliciously juicy opening with good projection for the first hour and longevity in the 3-4 hour mark on my skin. For my usage(exercise, errands, walking around) it’s perfect. It’s airy, really smooth and refreshing. Great bottle and atomizer too. Feels like a steal for the price.

If you’ve experienced island dreams, switch the grapefruit with orange. Not really getting any florals. Just got this so I’m going to let it sit for a few weeks and check back. But even if it is just a linear orange bomb it’s still a W for summer. Update, still an orange bomb, slightly candied. I wish it wasn’t so linear. But still a W.

Smells good! Opens with a strong orange peel scent then dries down to a light clean musk. Good for summer or hotter days. It last a few hours but I usually layer it with afnan rare reef and it last much longer (more rare reef than dxb) its a nice fruity combo.. I got it on sale for just under 30 bucks so its good for the price.

If you like afternoon swim, you'll love this. While it leans a little more lemon than the LV fragrance, it's still just as enjoyable. I found the performance and sillage better than LV's AS, though not amazing. For this price point one can't really complain though

I have the og and it doesn’t last at all, this is a very good buy it’s like 90-95% same thing and it last very long I got 7hrs plus from this very good buy trust me no cap!!!!

I don't how a dupe house can really make a better fragrance than LV, better, stronger projection and longer lasting, its honestly weird to me its this better than the original

I don't get a cilantro note whatsoever. Just smells like a sweet orange. That's it. dries down into a fuzzy musky smell. I get like 3-4 hours.

This is hands down the long-lasting Afternoon Swim dupe I've tried! I'd say it's about 80-85% similar with the DXB smelling a bit more synthetic upon the opening notes. The OG is fresher and has a more natural citrus vibe, but DXB's dry down is super close, even sweeter, like candied oranges, and the synthetic notes fade out. It lasts for a good 4-5 hours on my skin, much longer on clothes! Jean Lowe Azure is more similar at first, more fresh, citrusy, less sweet. But it fades so fast, only 1-2 hours max on a good day. I would probably choose DXB over Azure because it lasts and is actually usable. Azure is nice if you're cuddled up with someone but if you're going out, it has no projection or longevity, even with tons of overspray! I would recommend this, even though it's not a *perfect* copy. The value comes from the performance while retaining much of the same DNA from the beloved Afternoon Swim at a fraction of the cost. Overall, 8.75/10!

This is the loudest AS dupe that I have tried. I actually like it better than the OG, but like the rest, it doesn't last but an hour or two. It would be good for the gym. Azure is a waste of money. Montagne doesn't last nor does it smell anywhere near AS. DXB has a nice fruity punch to it and I enjoy it. Its a great scent to wake you up and get you going in the morning. Its not worth its $40 or $50 current asking price with performance like this though. $25 at the most!

Citrus is a good bit different and sweetness is more amped than OG but overall it’s about as close as Pinnace Oryn. Does seem to last about an hour longer than most clones of AS. Projection is quite stronger than any AS clone I have tried to date. Bottle and atomizer are stellar. I would say it’s 80% close to OG which is good enough for me especially considering it lasts a good bit longer.

Was really intrigued with how this can be the more affordable version of LV Afternoon Swim. Smell is fine, like 80% the same, but could be more refined if it can improve its citrusy character. Product-look wise, Maison Asrar is on a roll with its latest collections!

Smells really good, like sweet orange, one gust of wind and it disappears, have to drench myself with it to get 3-4 hours max.

Unfortunately this has kind of an Arab vibe to it, it’s hard to explain but it has like under tones of some kind of unpleasant incensey Arab vibe to it. Other than that, this has a lot more lemon than the OG and leaves out a lot of that refreshing mandarin orange that AS is known for. This fragrance is pretty pricey for those that live outside the US (because of duties n shit) so I suggest waiting till it’s on other discounters before you drop a bag on this. It’s 65% similar to AS at best. The performance is pretty good, giving me 3-4 hours working and skin scent for 6-7 hours. It’s borderline I wouldn’t even wear it on its own without layering. I’m gonna try to layer this with the OG and see if what happens. Would I repurchase? No. Would I recommend this to someone who doesn’t have the budget for AS? Sure. Just know that it’s not as close as some of these other dupes. **edit: guys don’t always believe what you see online, a lot of these guys are affiliated with the brand and gain some % cut of the money.

Please make sure you order this from a website that offers free returns. This smells NOTHING like afternoon swim. I was so excited about receiving this after watching/reading reviews. All lies apparently. I have afternoon swim sprayed on left hand and DXB on my right hand....I immediately started the return process for DXB lol It smells like lemon pledge lol so disappointed. If totally get trying to save money by not buying the actual afternoon swim because it really is expensive. But this isn’t it lol Edit: it is way more similar after 1 hour but that opening is so bad that I’m not sure I want to smell like it even for the opening

Opening doesnt even smell like Afternoon Swim, i just get screechy lemon and no orange smell that afternoon swim is known for. I mean sure when it dries down its somewhat similar but that opening just throws you off, and on my skin that heavy lemon smell lingers so much that i get a headache from it Just another hyped up product by tiktok influencers, thank god that i went to a store to try this instead of blindbuying it

dhruvvvvv in one of the earlier comments is right, there’s an unpleasant incense smell that will linger around ur skin. Performance is alright, but only initial smell is ok, goes downhill after that. Do not trust these positive reviews

I haven't smelled the og, this was a blind buy after much hype. Disclaimer: I only just got it, it was about $70, it hasn't matured or oxidized yet, but it's currently a cheap lemon peel scream and that's really all. No legs, no reach, very disappointing at this point but I'll come back to it and see

This might be the worst performance ever. Like 1hour max of smell. Smell loud for like 20min and then skin fade. 45min can’t even say ive sprayed the 8 time. Dont buy

I don't understand the confusion. LV can make ALL OF THEIR FRESH FRAGRANCES STRONGER!! They proved it with Symphony and the "Extraits" then instead of charging $345 they fucked everybody by charging 240 bucks more for a fancy cap and the same ingredients!!! Why would they lose money when they can make us spray 30 plus times to get any performance at all from the freshies. Then we spray another 25 times to re-apply...why do you think they made 200ml bottles?!? We spray more, emptying our bottles sending us back for more refills more frequently. LV is NOT INTERESTED in making stronger fragrances. They're interested in cash money. They will probably jump on the bandwagon and start making ELIXIR versions of their regular lineup and charge Symphony money. I would. If you can find a dupe anywhere close with stronger performance why not grab it?
