Think I’m in the minority of people who find this to be a beautiful fragrance. I believe a lot of people who have smelled it, find it to have a “vintage” vibe and I can understand, respect and appreciate that take. To me, it is mostly a warm, cozy, rich, deep, complex—powdery, soapy, somewhat (mostly) white floral, coconutty, musky, fresh clean scent w/a touch of sweet citrus notes (have to emphasize you either have to love/greatly enjoy powdery fragrances or be open to them at the very least). If you can’t get behind that, then this won’t be for you bc it has a good dose of powderyness—not baby powder—just a mostly “musky” powderyness. This is a cozy, clean scent you might find soothing and comforting to wear after a shower before bedtime or maybe when you just want to feel relaxed and comfy at home and want to smell nice. I would wear this anytime the mood strikes, but think some people would appreciate and enjoy this more after a shower or bath before bed or a day at home. It’s supposed to be more suited for warmer weather, but I feel like it can be worn all year regardless of the climate, but what do I know 😂? When I sprayed it on, I immediately had a sense of deja vu and quickly realized why. Back in the early 80’s when I was in junior high I used to wear a fragrance called Lutece by Houbigant and this is very reminiscent of that to me. It’s not a dupe and doubt it is an inspired by fragrance, but there is something that is so pleasantly nostalgic for me about Heritage to Lutece (specifically by Houbigant bc there was a Lutece that was also made by Dana and that does not smell the same as the Lutece by Houbigant) for me. What’s so crazy and what I am grateful for is that as a kid (13/14 years old), once upon a time, Houbigant made a fragrance that I was able to afford and that I had the fortunate opportunity to enjoy wearing—this gorgeous fragrance—by a fragrance house that now makes fragrances that are definitely out of my budget! I also love that this fragrance (to me) is uniquely complexly beautiful from fragrances these days.

This fragrance is very different. It’s a powdery musk with a touch of coconut. It smells soapy, which isn’t a bad thing. If I feel like it should be blended with something else. I’m just not sure what I’m gonna blend it with. It’s long lasting on my skin probably about 8 to 10 hours and projects well. I put it on in my room and my sisters could smell it in the kitchen, which is quite a distance away. I just got the bottle so I’m going off my initial smell of it. I only sprayed one spray and it feels a little overwhelming and I tend to like a heavy scent. I’m not sure about it. I think I like it, but I feel like it needs something extra. I personally think it’s a winter /fall fragrance. I can’t imagine wearing this in the summer but I guess I have to try it to see. It just smells so creamy, like something that I wanna smell on a cold day. The bottle is beautiful. My sprayer is kind of funky. It doesn’t spray well. It’s sort of drips out unless I press it fully. I just wanted to spray a little bit and normally it puffs out but this one just sort of dripped out, unless I push it all the way down. I will buy a back up bottle, just in case I find a good blend to wear with it. Something a floral or vanilla. I’m happy with the purchase. I don’t think it’ll be around long for some reason. I see so many bottles on eBay, for sale, so I’m buying a backup. It will probably last a while, because it’s a beast mode fragrance.

Blind buy. I guess I’m part of the minority who truly enjoy this. To my nose, it feels like stepping out of a luxurious bath and smoothing on an expensive coconut body lotion—warm, silky, and indulgent. The most prominent notes are the musk, the creamy coconut, and those soft, sweet fruity nuances that drift through the scent like light. The coconut is done beautifully: soft, creamy, and elegant. It melts into the musk effortlessly, creating a smooth, skin-like aura that feels both intimate and comforting. There’s no harsh, sunscreen-like edge—just pure softness. It smells clean, creamy, and luminous... almost like the color white. Smooth, soothing, quietly mesmerizing—almost addictive. And honestly, I feel like this is a lifer for me—very much in the same family as my beloved Narciso Pure Musk.

Heritage is a masterfully subtle and refined fragrance, crafted for those who appreciate the elegance of clean scents. Softly creamy and delicately powdery, it remains airy and fresh throughout. With luminous notes of coconut, vanilla, and musk, it conjures a serene sense of calm, an olfactory escape into pure tranquility.

Very good, I like that it smells clean and fresh and gives somehow an after smell pretty interesting. I'll note that it smells fresh and a soapy in a good way it's great for after shower when you're looking to smell fresh but idk if it's a signature scent, it's definitely made for clean girl aesthetic 👍

High quality perfume for a very low price. Very interesting combo of vanilla and musk that lasts all day long on skin and days and days on clothes. The pretty heavy bottle is pure luxury. 🤎🤎🤎

Blind buy.. By the notes i was kinda looking forward to this. I was hoping for a flowery (soft and fresh), coconutty and clean scent. Like tropical summer fragrance. This was straight up grandma. It got the soapy scent with a hint of creamy. It's nostalgic to me, but it reminds me of an great aunt (with the hair rollers and fleecy pink night dress with the high neck) in my childhood that hadn't redecorated since the 50's. I'm trying to like it, it's not awful, but it doesnt feel modern. I'm going to let it sit for some time, and try again. Let it sit for some weeks. It's now something different! It's still soapy, sweet, creamy, but less nauseating. It's now a citrusy opening, over clean body lotion. Dried down to a coconut cream and powdery iris-esque skin scent.

This fragrance leans HEAVILY feminine and this is coming from someone who doesn't mind feminine leaning. The initial spray is just a makeup powdery bomb with undertones of sweetened coconut shreds and cream with a heavy musky base. It does come off as a bit dated, it's something I'd pictured an auntie wearing. It smells VERY clean, like laundry sheets, which I don't mind tbh since I just want a clean aesthetic sometimes w/o being soapy. Hopefully, the powder chills out a bit and it just becomes clean or maybe I can find something to layer it with.

The scent is fine, very nice actually. My issue is the bottle and cap. I owned it a week, put the cap back on and the top of the bottle broke off. After investigating I found it was a manufacturing flaw where glue got where it wasn't supposed to and caused stress just by capping it. I was able to save the juice but the bottle is trash. pretty disappointed because of all the hey everyone makes about the quality of the bottles.

Clean, fresh and cozy. Definitely more the clean musk than the funky kind. Would be a lovely post-shower/bath and pre-bedtime scent. I’m not big on clean scents and it goes slightly too baby powdery for me but will let it macerate and see if that changes. 7/10

I am an avid collector and have been using Fragrantica as a crutch to help me decide on what I’m going to blind buy. It’s high time I start giving my input. I am not a YouTube perfume reviewer, nor do I do TikTok. With that being said, my thoughts are my own to try to help you guys as much as the Fragrantica community has helped me. I absolutely have to agree with @Brentmoodypt below. It genuinely smells like a bar of soap. I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever use this or not. I just got it in the mail yesterday so time will tell. Right now I’d imagine me using it on lounging days at home while cleaning. Or maybe straight after the shower. Will try to remember to update though.... 😇

This is EXCELLENT!!! Someone was letting it go for 19 on Mercari, I knew I’d like it but didn’t know I’d LOVE it! The reviews I saw said it smells like a resort, tropical but not fruity tropical. Not yellow flower tropical either. It’s soft coconut, creamy and clean. It is soooo good!

Agree with mark below! BUT...I would say 3 out of 5 of my Arabic perfumes? Have been really close dupes that PERFORM! And during this time of Kayali etc charging $150 for a body mist? I’ll take the chance! Ha (not a reviewer) and always macerate especially the creamy lactonic ones

Smells like coconut fluff with a clean aspect. Very nice!!! I love that it's not a cake-y gourmand coconut and it's also not a sunscreen coconut. It's just a clean and fluffy coconut that's kinda fresh and comforting.

Argh. Went on kind of nice hand lotion floral but the coconut comes up very foody and cakey and then I hate it. It’s a foody floral gourmand kind of thing with a taint of cheap oils. Not liked
