Legacy

I own Blue Talisman (EDP) and have compared these side by side. If you’re looking for a one-to-one dupe of Blue Talisman, you’ll likely be disappointed. The opening of Legacy lacks the spicy notes that blend so perfectly into the juicy pear and ginger in the original, adding nuance that works incredibly well. Legacy doesn’t have those same spices, and I suspect that’s due to the Akigalawood either not being the Givaudan version or other materials being used in its place. Legacy also has a noticeable musk in the opening that I don’t detect in Blue Talisman, or at least not nearly as prominently. That musk carries through the opening, mid, and dry-down and, in my opinion, is the main differentiating factor between Legacy and Blue Talisman. In fact, when I first sprayed Legacy, I was very disappointed. While I did recognise the juicy pear opening, the ginger wasn’t very prominent and the musk was very much at the forefront. It can best be described (respectfully) as old-worldly. I’ve even seen another comment describe it as “old lady.” However, after three weeks, Legacy has changed significantly in a short amount of time. The musk is now less noticeable and feels more complementary to the other notes, the ginger pops more, and the musk no longer gives off such an old-world feel. As with many UAE fragrances, I suspect this will continue to improve with time. While this may sound harsh towards Legacy, I actually rate it highly as a fragrance, and you can clearly smell that the quality is there. It just isn’t Ex Nihilo level quality. That said, it sits in the same general ballpark as Blue Talisman, and as long as you’re comfortable with a little more musk and less spice, it’s still well worth picking up for the price.

This has a creamier sunscreen note that the OG doesn't have, or at least has it toned down. When you first spray both, this is noticeably stronger, but that projection doesn't last too long. The OG has lighter projection, and both seem to last the same amount of time on skin and clothes at the end of the day. This type of scent profile amps up when your body heats up, and people catch your sweet scent bubble. You may also become anosmic to this scent. I sprayed it before going to a new doctor, and the first comment the doctor made was that I smelled good. She also wanted to know the name of it. At that point, I couldn't smell it on myself, but the whole room smelled like it when I started to consciously think about the smell in the room and how sweaty I was lol. The OG is slightly better quality-wise wise and I found it at a better price on ZGO with a random discount code (use the Capital One Chrome extension). But for the price of this, I'll be using it as a gym/errands scent and reserving the OG for dates, dinners, office, etc. This and Versace Eros Energy are my heavy hitters for summer 2025. Edit: Forgot to mention, this is the best clone fragrance in my collection and one of the most versatile, clone and non-clone. It feels criminal to even call it a clone. The best summer fragrance under $100, period.

I wore this for several consecutive days before daring to write this review. The opening is quite clean ripe pear mixed with cold ginger, and bergamot cutting through just enough to keep it from being overly sweet. Maison Asrar completely removed the orange note from the top, and that was the right call. Many clones tend to have a harsh sweetness right from the start Legacy does not. The mid is its strongest point. The jasmine here isn’t heavy or cloying it is light and airy in the truest sense. The Akigalawood underneath elevates the florals without masking them. This combo is closer to Blue Talisman than any other clone I’ve tried. The dry down: amber + white musk + a hint of vanilla. It sits close to the skin and lasts quite a while. The vanilla isn’t overpowering just enough to add some warmth, nothing more. Sillage is moderate it won't fill a room, but people standing close can definitely catch whiffs of it. To me, this is not a drawback at all. The community often mentions a 90–95% similarity to Blue Talisman. After testing it myself, I can confidently say that number isn't just marketing. Personal rating: 9/10

Usually when I hear of unisex, the fragrance typically leans more to either masculine or feminine. But by damn this is perfectly in the middle. Either can pull this off and feel confident in it. This is fresh with a slight touch of sweetness from the pear with a warm drydown of amber and musk. I'd use this primarily in the spring and summer As for the scent. I like it, not a love. But with these clone houses, I know maceration is a thing. So if it developed significantly enough to warrant an edit, I'll be back. 7/10 Update: It's nearly three weeks later and it matured well. And wow, the notes seemed to have adjusted better over time. It smells, deeper and richer before. What started out as 3 hours longevity is now about 7, maybe slightly over that. It projects much better now as well. This definitely shines as a warm weather scent. When the sun heats up your skin, that's when this fragrance really activates. This is now a hit in my collection Updated rating 9.1/10

I bought Afnan Turathi Electric as I'm chasing this BT DNA. I got the Legacy MAISON ASRAR a couple of weeks back, trust me when I say this " Turathi Electric is nothing as compared to this GEM" My God, this perfume is a mistake, for 50$ you can't sell something like this. Charge me 220$ for this, and I will come back and get 2 more. If I am the owner of Maison Asrar, I will not sell this without macerating every single bottle. This smells complex and deep, pleasant, but not sweet, erotic, but not feminine. This is the perfume you want to wear when you're drunk and want to enjoy a scent. I don't want to eat anything but just drink coffee, so I can continue to enjoy it. Maybe it's me, but I like it over my 200+ perfumes. I have ordered my 2nd bottle within a week. In the air actually 1:1 perfectly. Up close, legacy as a touch of bitter soapiness, which I like. BT seems to have a touch of this like nutty sweetness. In the dry down they also differ, with Legacy having a bit more punch, where BT is a bit more musky skin dry down. The slight difference in up close smell does not come off as a difference in quality to me, but I would say up close, BT seems to have a bit more consistency of the smell if that makes sense. I enjoy BT, but it's not a love for me, and I liked the profile as an easy-going daily, so to me getting this clone made a lot of sense, and really glad I did. Bottle is a bit gaudy but not nearly as bad as most other dupe bottles. Really enjoy this, quite confident people who claim this is a low quality sham are those that get easily brain washed to buy a 200$ value bag for 5000$ if it's from LV over a 500$ value bag for 1000$ if it's from some random brand.

I’m not a “professional” or a trained perfumer but to me this is a 1:1, or damn near 1:1 to Blue Talisman. I had a decant of Blue Talisman & fell in love with it so I wanted to find the close dupe to it. After doing a bit of research & watching some reviews, I found one from Cal Cologne saying Legacy is the closest thing to it. Boy he didn’t lie! To my nose I can’t tell a difference. Everything about this fragrance is amazing. It’s easy to wear. The scent profile is magnificent. It’s linear to me. From the opening to dry down it pretty much stays the same scent. So if you’re not a fan of linear fragrances maybe it’s not for u. If you’re just looking for something that smells great & easy to wear this is it. Not to mention the price tag on this. Well worth the money. Definitely a safe blind buy imo if you’re looking for a BT dupe.

Took my mom to her surgery. Sprayed 4 sprays on each sleeve of my flannel and 2 sprays on each side of my chest and 2 on back of my neck for 14 total sprays. My mother didnt get sick in the hour car ride to the hospital. And while waiting for her surgery (4 hours after spraying) 2 random nurses popped their head in our room while my mom's nurse was in there and said " I hate to be nosy but i have to no what is that smell its amazing " I didnt realize I was the subject but instantly my mom jumps up n goes "its my son! I smelt it in the car too and thoughts it smells so nice" I laughed it off, they left. But my mom's nurse made sure to say "seriously spill the beans" before i left. Take that for what you will, also needless to say im an oversprayer but it lasted all day n literally PULLED compliments from 25-35aged nurses.

Okay, I was wrong. I just fell in love with this banger. My god, this smell so nice and after like 5 days the projection and sillage are improved. To be honest, when I wrote my first review on this, I was very disappointed, but it's completely opposite now. This thing keeps getting better every time I spray it. smell = 10/10 in the air If you put your nose to the skin = 8/10, that ginger is not syncing Projection = 8/10 it's not a room filler, but you get wiffs now and then Sillage = ???? yet to be discovered, it's too early to say exactly but I would give it like 8/10 Overall = 9/10 considering the price and the bottle(OMG). Hands down, it's already in the top 5 dupes ever, and trust me when I say I have put my nose to every hyped dupe. In the top three summer dupes.

Rating: 9/10 At first, I wasn’t sure how I felt about it—but now I love it. It’s definitely on the feminine side, maybe unisex leaning feminine, but the scent is smooth, light, and powdery in a way that feels uplifting and addictive. Makes me genuinely happy when I wear it. While it might work slightly better on a woman, a confident man can absolutely pull this off. It has a soft elegance that feels versatile. Performance is solid—about 6 to 8 hours of longevity with 1 to 2 hours of noticeable projection. Hopefully it continues to evolve and get even better with time. I can see this becoming a signature scent for spring and summer, but surprisingly, it could also work well in the fall and winter because of that smooth, cozy quality.

Honestly never smelled Blue Talisman, so I'm reviewing this on it's own. I always wanted to try that DNA but not necessarily Blue Talisman itself. This is a very well blended fragrance in my opinion, you have that nice floral note together with a bit of a sweeter touch from the pear and the brightness from the citrus. All of that on that musky base really makes this a wonderful fragrance, especially for the price. It invokes a feeling of sitting in orchard in bloom in southern Europe, drenched in the sunlight of the afternoon. Longevity as pretty good on me, but it doesn't project a lot. I believe that if you are into, say MYSLF EDP you might find yourself liking this one quite a bit.

Such a good fragrance. Vibrant summers. So I have blue talisman and thought I love it enough to get a clone. Did all my research and turned out this (Legacy) was it. The summers are extremely hot where I live so I keep new fragrances in the fridge for a few hours after receiving them and trust me it really helps. This is a gem. I always spray new stuff in my toilet and then close it for 10 mins then go back inside....really gives you the feels lol. this is beautiful. Also....i get blue talisman is very expensive for what its doing but what its doing has never been done before. I have never smelt Pear the way they have made it smell.....absolutely amazing. Get this.

BUMBOCLOT! so you're probably on the hunt for the best blue talisman clone and im here to tell you this is the one for you. cal calogne and neeb(aromatix) both agree that this is the closest to the original ive tried blue electric, the lattafa one, the dua brand one, and 2 other ones and they all have that same weird sweet fruit-ish opening. BUT LEGACY!!! has that burst of fresh grapefruit sweetness with like a dash of ginger and tonic water. so sparkling man i tell you if Legacy is a 10 (which i rarely give out) blue electric is an 7.5, lattafa is a 6.5, dua is a 7 and the other 2 just go overboard with the sweetness making this basically into a feminine scent

Fragrance Journal Entry #4 This fragrance is absolutely gorgeous and is not "feminine" what so ever, i don't even get the comparison to sun screen either. I cannot speak to how close it is to blue talisman but as a stand alone fragrance it checks all the boxes, performance is incredible, versatility and compliment factor through the roof. This to me is the best modern blue fragrance money can buy. It's fairly linear so don't expect a ton of depth here but if you want a signature scent worthy fragrance that you can just grab and go for anytime anywhere then you'd be hard pressed to find better than this. Rating: 9.6/10 Blind Buy Safe? YES

This is a fantastic option especially for the price. While I prefer Blue Talisman, its literally a tenth of the price. Not everyone can afford the very high end fragrances and options like this are a great pick up. The floral notes don't come across feminine. The jasmine, musk and pear work great together and its a very pleasant, easy to wear, easy to smell fragrance. Longevity is good and so is the sillage. A little powdery in a good way. Softens the pear and citrus so that it doesn't dominate the scent profile. I encourage people starting off or on a budget to reach for this to start to get a glimpse of unique scents at a great price.

When I first tried Blue Talisman I was not super excited about it. But then I tried Legacy and fell in love with it immediately. This is more masculine and more spicey. It smells really high end and mysterious. You wear this if you want to be interesting and unique. it does not smell designer but it smells like character. Totally love it. Unisex? no not for me this is still more masculine. But it smells very clean, fresh and to someone who has his life all well together. Maybe the best of the royal collection. They did an awesome job on this fragrance. worth every penny.

to everyone complaining - is this your first time with gulf orchid/maison asrar? this thing needs to mature on your shelf for 4-6 months to be powerful. other than that this is literally the closest one to the real thing. i got a sample and they are almost exactly the same. cant differentiate them apart. keep in mind that this is a citrus musky freshie - it will glow in high heat like summer. in winter this will easily get suppressed on your skin and be gone quick. and to everyone asking - yes, the real ex nihilo blue talisman lasts only 3 hours. this one lasts 6

Not sure how this compares to the OG Blue Talisman, but I can say this is head and shoulders above Art of Universe to me. AoU was much sweeter and linear, also reminded me a lot of Game of Spades King which is a dupe of Erba Pura with just more pear. Maison Asrar Legacy is much more refined, smooth, with a lot more depth. There is still the fruity aspect as AoU but it's not dominated by the sweetness like AoU is. There is much more richness and uniqueness to Legacy that is, in my opinion, superior in almost all ways than AoU. Highly recommended! 9/10

Where do I start !!! This fragrance is an utter masterpiece, I remember smelling BT around 7 weeks ago, I wasn't INSANE about but I liked it. However, this juice here, simply fabulous. Fresh but smooth pear in the opening which dries down to an intoxicating Pear, Jasmine and musk concoction. The longevity is decent and the projection is quite magical, always leaves me with gentle breezes of the scent which just take me BACKKK. Don't expect beastmode performance, but tbh it's not needed for this; elegant and refined, buy it.

After months of sitting around it’s finally really good. When I first bought it, it wasn’t bright or rich in smell, so I put it to the side and thought it was a blind buy fail. You got to let it sit for a while, but when you come back to it you’ll be amazed how close this is to blue talisman and the performance. I got a couple compliments with this and a co worker of mine even purchased it because they liked it so much.

how long should I maserate this parfume? mine were produced or batch at December 2025, and it have been like 3 month since the production. but the SPL are still weak for me, the sillage like an hours and the Longevity only 2 hours after then it’s just a skin scent. should I macerate again?? the smell is good, but for the SPL and price I think better buy velixir icarus

A genuinely amazing floral & fruity summer fragrance, very similar to Blue Talisman. For the first 3-4 hours it projects very nicely then transitions to sitting closer to your skin. A nice compliment getter that I believe is truly unisex but leans slightly feminine. For around $40 on most discounters, this fragrance is a steal and I highly recommend!

Took me some time to come around to this man this has grown on me tremendously. One of my most complimented fragrances on my vanity. The longevity is damn near eternal. I live in Florida, and if you can even still get whiffs on your neck over eight hours later, considerate a win. Definitely will be picking up another bottle once this is done. 10/10

Omg, I am not even capping. I just got this fragrance in the mail today. It is the exact same as blue talisman. I don't even smell the difference. I haven't had the chance to test out the longevity and silage and such but the smell is exactly like blue talisman. Opening and dry down is perfect. Don't waste money on buying the real thing. 9.9/10

Out of those I tried (art of universe, turathi electric, zodiac) easily the best of the bunch and closer to the OG. I dont think its blind buy safe, its a linear fragrance, try before you buy. Ignore the haters who 99% wouldn't like the original as well. If you like the BT DNA this will get you 95% there for a fraction of the price.

I own BT and this has convinced me that I don't need to buy another bottle of BT. This is nice 95-99% close to the OG . The presentation is nice the bottle is heavy like concrete heavy, the cap is nice and the atomizer is good. I highly recommend this one. I didn't need to macerate this one . Fresh out of the box it's ready to go..

After having gotten a decant of Blue Talisman I'm surprised on how close it actually is. The opening does differ a bit in profile, the scents are about the same but Blue Talisman is sweeter and intense in terms of how the pear smells. On dry-down it's hard to tell the difference. Highly recommended!

got my (first) bottle of this maybe a month or so after it was released, and i wore it yesterday and its sooo insanely strong. scent is more full/ deep/ developed also. got another bottle last black friday for cheap on joma. this house is killing it with quality when it comes to clones. 9.5/10

It is slowly becoming my summer office scent. It lasts easily 8 hours on me with 3 of those projecting. Despite the size of my collection I just got a backup battle. ( I also have Art of universe - louder so great for weekend, and Electric ... Just got that one, so need more time to decide ).

My daily scent. I’ve tried a few other versions namely Tarathi Electric, Art of Universe & Illusion, and definitely prefer this version. I quite like how it deviates slightly from Blue Talisman. I bought this maybe 2 months ago and will buy again when I run out in about 2/3 months.

whenever buying dupes i let them sit for a month or two knowing that it needs time to mature. to me and my friends it smells like a fizzy soda, similar to squirt. after it dries down it smells the musk comes out. gonna give it more time to mature but overall 8/10. gf loves it so.

The best fresh citrusy + floral scent I have in my collection. Worth the money I can say safe blind buy if you are looking for unisex fragrance. My brother and sister loves this fragrance. IMO the notes are correct and perfect for office and anything indoor.

Okay so this is very floral, borderline more to the feminine than unisex, with that, I still find it to be a lovely scent, definitely a day fragrance, will have to convince my self that this isn’t to feminine to wear but overall I really dig it. 7.5/10

On first spray i felt it smelled like a plumb scent. Couldn't smell pear. 3 days later this is absolutely delicious. Soft floral must pear. Still a beautiful skin scent after applying at 730am. Its 630pm and still lovely.

Ah man I really want to wear it as it does smell great! But I can’t help but fell a bit embarrassed when wearing it out as it’s just too feminine! What a shame. It’s a great scent but just not my vibe.

Epic scent. Worth the Hype. Even from Day 1! Super fresh, electric, clean and smooth. The only issue is that it’s leans pretty feminine IMO... Dry down still great. Projection 6.5/10 Longevity 7/10

I'm quite sure that this scent profile will become even popular. Yes, there's hype around BT, but i think deservedly so! Legacy is a spot on BT twist with great longevity, highly recommended

This is legit a 1 for 1 to my nose lmao. I like this scent profile, but don’t love it. But just because of the cash this bad boy will save you compared to the OG. I rate it highly

Perfection, favourite dupe purchased alongside vulcan feu, this is amazing with great performance and scent profile that is unique, if you want to smell majestic, grab this.

This is what liquid brun is to pafums de marley althair for blue talisman. edit: this has a strong alcohol drydown on my inner elbows dunno if I like it anymore.

Perfection from opening to dry down everything feels very high quality the bottle the cap and the scent itself lasted easily 10 hours on my skin

The opening is feminine, the dry down is more male than unisex. Beautiful beautiful drydown. I just wish it had better performance

Fresh clean slighlty sweet floral and it’s pretty. Needs time to mature and improve longevity but after that it’s beautiful
