Rose Honey

I didn't like this one the first time. When I first tried it, it was like all the notes in it were fighting for supremacy and I couldn't smell anything specific, but it gave me a headache and numbed my nose. I tried it again a few days later and this time it was better, I could detect the cloves and the tobacco. I love the aroma of cloves, but I wasn't thrilled because I'm not that fond of the tobacco note, and this one was so strong that it dominated everything. I left it alone for about two months and now I notice the change. It's become my new obsession. I don't smell the tangerines and plums, only when I spray it there is a fresh, juicy citrus scent that lasts for a few seconds, then disappears completely. What I can then smell throughout the day is honey (a polyfloral honey I would say), labdanum, a fine, bitter note (which is not at all disturbing, but gives depth to the perfume), which reminds me of black tea leaves, the cloves are permanently there, the tobacco - which is tempered now, and a very pleasant smell of dried hay. I don't smell vanilla or Tonka beans, but maybe I need to let it sit longer. However, I really like it the way it is now, it seems perfect to me. It's a fresh, slightly spicy, sweet (not that classic sweet, but a refined, elegant one, which is not overwhelming), elegant scent. I wear it on any occasion, sometimes even when I'm at home. At the moment, it's one of my favorites. I am also surprised by how long it lasts, more than 12 hours on my skin.

Lassan egy éve vettem meg. Most hogy állt, egyszerűen zseniális illattá fejlődött nekem. Eleinte csak mézet és dohányt éreztem. Most viszont teljesen kifejlődött. A szegfüszeg az elején finoman fátyolosan körbeleng a mézzel és édes dohánnyal. Ez a dohány olyan mint egy ínyenc enyhén cseresznyés pipa dohány. A szilva és mandarin csipetnyi velegye selymesen ott a háttérben számomra. Egy abszolult kifinomult illat. Az ára nevetséges a minőségéhez képest. Közepesen tartós nálam és felvitel után 4-5 órát belengi körülöttem a levegőt észrevehetően majd még órákon át bőrközelivé válik. Nagyon ajánlom azoknak akik szeretik az inyenc édes dohány illatot.

This smells like honey on a classic arabic fragrance base! It's SO good! The honey in this smells so photorealistic to me. It's such a sexy and sweet scent. The sweetness is the slightest bit reminiscent of Scandal, but this is so complex, dark and unisex. The dry-down makes the prominent honey become a bit softer, while the other notes such as the tobacco come forward more than before, turning it into an even more complex and mysterious smell. It's so good. I love it.

Let this one sit for some time (before you rate it) and you’ll be surprised how good it is, especially if you’re gourmand lover!!! It’s a really delicious honey mixed with tobacco.

This is such a masterpiece! I am so impressed with the raw honey effect they got going on here, with the spices and all. VERY posh smelling.

On the first spray this is just rough and clearly unpolished, spicy tobacco and cloves dominate the opening. Also it reminds me heavily of Raghba wood intense from Lattafa, with this being a touch sweeter. Still my expectations are high on this one. Its an arabic fragrance, and in my experience its worth being patient with such because most turn out solid after they mature. Will vote and give ratings on this in about 2-4 weeks edit (april 30): my expectations were met. this has improved significantly since the last review above. Since I havent smelled Tobacolor (or anything from Dior's private line for that matter) I will judge this fragrance as a creation of its own. One thing i like here is how the honey note grew a pair and is now much more detectable, also it balances out the sourness from the clove tobacco combo. If you want to buy this only for the rose then skip. Rose is nowhere to be found here at all, except for the art on the box and the bottle. Other than that, not much else to report in terms of smell. The performance is ever so slightly stronger after a month, a nice 6 hours on my skin with okay projection (I would be mad if this didnt cost 15€) Even so dont bother studying this one if your nose isnt accustomed to "intense" smells. this is how i imagine a beekeper smells while sitting in a lounge bar filled with cigar smoke, booze and vanilla scented air freshener. Its worth the money, but if I wanted an exact clone of Tobacolor, I would look elsewhere. Smell: 7/10 Projection: 6/10 Longevity: 7.5/10 Packaging: 8.5/10 Bottle: 8.5/10

This fragrance is one of the strongest fragrances I own- on its own it is very honey forward but the tobacco is strong too. I cannot smell the plum or any other notes apart from those and as many times as I’ve used it I’ve never once smelled rose.It’s a lovely winter fragrance but a bit too polarising on its own. Rose honey pairs exceptionally well with angels share types of fragrances and That’s mainly how I use it. Now I will say with hand on heart that this is better than Montal honey oud and if you like that type of fragrance you will like this. It’s a unisex fragrance and can be worn by anyone who has the confidence to pull it off. The longevity is insane I’ve smelled this on the inside of a coat weeks later and it wasn’t even sprayed on the coat but had transferred from my skin onto it. The bottle is 110ml size and it will last you forever, it’s a great buy from a really good Arabian brand.

Wow wow so- this fragrance is yummy, I love the opening with the burnt vanilla and honey, the tobacco in this is moderate but comes out more in the dry down, longevity is moderate at present so will let it sit for a month or two and bring it out in time for those cosy winter nights. This is a 90% dupe of Dior Tuberose- it’s a bargain too, got it for less than £20 from NOTINO. Update on this fragrance after one month- this so beautiful, the longevity has improved tenfold. Smoky with a blast of honey in the opening but this quickly dries down to a creamy honey and tobacco fragrance- totally addictive, my Montale honey aoud is now in the back of the cupboard as this has way more going for it. Don’t hesitate on buying this as it is an amazing fragrance.

I get mostly plum and honey, only a hint of tobacco. The smell is godsent, sweet yet retaining a certain "serious" edge. It's not a boring vanilla or those sugary gourmands you get in most releases nowadays. My gripe with the fragrance is that it's weak; at least my bottle is. I get 4-5h of total performance while heavy spraying. It's a shame. I am sure I bought a legit copy of it.

Smells really similar to ambre eve from fragrance world

Got my bottle 2days ago, all I get is tobacco smoke & a heavy dose of honey. Letting it sit, will bring it out next fall.
