Rose Oud

To me, this is a very complex perfume. I didn't like it at first, but now I really appreciate it. In the first five minutes after spraying I feel a slight bergamot accord, but it disappears very quickly and a very delicate rose remains, and the oud and davana come into force. Gradually, in the background I can also feel the caramel (very fine, barely perceptible, but it's there) and a green fresh spicy, I think it's from the lily of the valley and/or freesia. But the oud and davana are very strong here, this reminds me of a walk in nature, on a warm day, when the earth is still fresh from a rainy night and I walk past the fields where the smell of lush herbs is very strong, occasionally, I also catch a floral breeze that comes and goes. For me, this is a mysterious, warm, elegant, sensual perfume... but I can't wear it all the time, because I would have to be in the right mood for it (something like Dark Academia kind of mood). It seems very mature to me, the earthy notes literally bring you down to earth. Update: I had such a surprise with this one recently! So, I went to a walk at the mall last week and I decided all of a sudden to wear this perfume because I am getting used with the note of oud and this one seemed the right choice, as I remembered that the oud in here was present, but not extremely strong to overwhelm me (not like the first time that I've tried it and I wasn't used to smell oud). Well, this changed a lot since the first times that I tried it. The opening in this perfume is rose, oud, and leather (not bothersome, but like a new handbag or jacket), which feels quite strong for the first 30 to 60 minutes. Then, as I went with my friends at shopping I got wiffs of fluffy marshmallows and Love don't be shy by Killian. At first, I thought that maybe one of my friends used LDBS, so I didn't pay much attention, but then I walked home alone and I could still feel at times that LDBS wiffs so that's when I realised that it was this perfume. Now, when I've put my nose on my skin the notes of rose and oud were still there, but somewhere in the backgroud was that floral marshmallowy scent. It's an interesting change. I wear it more often now. It doesn't have the same strength like a year before when I bought it though, I feel it more soft now, although very persistent (7-8 hours) with a moderate sillage.
