I found this scent addictive to me I can't figure out what exactly makes me want to keep smelling, but can say that this composition of oud, lotus, bamboo, sandalwood is very interesting to me! Cannot detect pear, but can vetiver, if opening sweeter to me , vetiver keep this composition cooler, greener. So far all samples from chapter 2 very good!

I get mostly oud in this with some of the other woody notes, but not a lot of the lighter top notes. That being said, I find it a pleasant, dry, smooth oud and not too overbearing. The oud is lukewarm (as opposed to something warmer or spicier) in a nice way, and just the right amount of sweet. It is not cloyingly sticky like oud can sometimes be. The vetiver and sandalwood keep everything smooth and inviting. There's a touch of something green-sweet underneath, but it's not identifiable to me as bamboo or lotus or pear. I would not have guessed any of those notes were in this without looking. The brand's website says there are incense, amber, tea, and nutmeg notes as well; I might believe the tea and amber, but it doesn't have the gentle spiciness of nutmeg or the smokiness of incense. I comes off to me as well-made but not luxury. Like a nicer mid-shelf bottle of alcohol at the liquor store, but not the kind behind locked cases. It's a nice, wearable oud, maybe a good intro for the oud-curious. 7.5/10.

I voted for unisex even thought I felt it leans toward more masculine. I wore this perfume on a wrong day - it was a bit much on warmer weather. I get a clean, lightly moist yet very dry oud and woody scent throughout the wear. Feels like I am hiking in the woods after a rainy day with clean and moist air. Quite a linear performance.

On my skin, opening is an ozonic fragrance with sandalwood base. Very clean light scent and a bamboo/lotus is the best way to describe it as it is crisp airy green scent. Dry down presents more woody notes and is no longer ozonic, it starts to present notes of clean laundry. Longevity 6hrs, Projection 4/10. Overall 6/10

I liked it on first spray, as I typically like pear perfumes. Unfortunately as it dried it turned more ozonic/ aquatic. I think it could work well on young men, but felt too fake for women (you have no chance of passing this off as how you naturally smell on a date). I don’t think I’d buy it, but I don’t think it would be bad on someone else. If I ever tried an aquatic scent it would be this one, but I have too many gourmand perfumes to try before I do.

This smells very woody on me! Almost too woody.

For some reason, all I can smell when I spray this is that pink soap that is very common in public restrooms. It's got that almond/cherry/soapy scent and it transports me back to the fountain style hand washing station at my elementary school. While it is not an unpleasant smell, I find it unwearable due to the strong association.

this is kind of a pleasant super transparent green smoke air-scent, very spiritual and meditative. hard to call it an oud fragrance, i don't smell oud at all. and that bamboo-lotus combo makes it even lighter. I would imagine this to be a nice room scent. it actually reminds me of Singapore spa salons where wooden furniture, lotus and bamboo are frequently included in the room interior. unfortunately the lasting power of this is quite beyond limits. it's not even a skin scent, it disappears within a blink of an eye... are we sure it's an extract de parfum?

I'm not usually a fan of Oud but the use of Oud in this fragrance is lighter and more comforting than I've ever smelled it. It starts out a little minty, light, with almost an almond scent to it. Then I start to detect a soapy fresh pear along with a nuttiness. The bamboo and lotus (maybe?) brings an aquatic feeling to it which feels a little hard to describe. The dry down is a warm, woody, light, almost fresh oud—again a representation of oud I haven't experienced in other fragrances. It's very unique and beautiful. Definitely unforgettable.
