Mother x Love, 'A nostalgic ode to the endlessly enveloping feel of a mother’s love’ was the fragrance in the collection that really jumped out at me. Mother x Love opens on the skin as an ethereal cloud of aromatic freshness. A delicate touch of ginger maintains its effervescent qualities as it’s joined by a melange of soft white florals on a base of vanilla and white musks. As the fragrance evolves on the skin the musks rise to the surface where they remain until the end, evoking images of cashmere. The overall feeling conveyed by the fragrance is airy, elegant and comforting. The beauty of Mother x Love is in its polished simplicity that lets the quality of the raw materials shine. It’s a fragrance that I have found myself reaching for more and more lately in recent times of stress. It’s completely unisex, and perfectly versatile. Perfomance on this fragrance is fantastic too. I can absolutely not describe the fragrance as well as the reviewer below (koxayous), but I will say this is very beautiful. Personally I cannot pinpoint any specific notes, aside from a soft musk (no screechy-ness). Somehow I smell a bit of a rice note with some sandalwood (none of these notes are listed - also not on the official website). I suppose it's just how the actual notes translate on my skin. This smells like what I wanted Musc Moschus to smell like (I find that one really very sweet to the point of too sweet). There is no sweetness here, only softness. It's quite longlasting, but the sillage is very light (as you would expect with this type of scent). It gives me a zen mood. I agree it is very comforting. I very much enjoy wearing this.

Got a sample set from a local perfume store in SF and am really impressed by this house. Longevity is fantastic on this one, and the name apropos. Very clean, soft musc with beautiful vanilla accord that blossoms and dominates the dry down. Like tihota and Narcisco Rodriguez musc had a cuddly baby. A comforting feeling envelops, with the litchi and white flowers (jasmine mostly to my nose) giving this a distinctly feminine feel. The pepper and ginger turn this into not your average musc. A definite smell for anyone looking for a skin/better than you scent.

I WANT THIS SO BAD its just a fresh, comforting smell thats giving like. gentle, sweetie girl vibes. u really smell the lychee but not too overpowering. it dries down perfectly onto skin!!! I need her so bad!!!!

This is a soft and comforting floral musk fragrance to me. It starts out a bit spicy, the bite of the ginger and citrus coming into play. However it instantly warms and softens up with the jasmine and becomes this beautiful, intimate, musky scent. On dry-down it becomes a soapy, warm, soft, jasmine musk with the suede adding this cashmere-like texture that feels welcoming. It balances between being soft and fem with being clean. It's not a scent that I usually go for myself but it's unique and beautiful nonetheless.

After trying this sample on blotter was smelling just a nice musky scent, but after wearing on my skin was pleasantly surprised how much fragrance opened up! Beautiful fruty/woody/musky composition for everyone, for every day and any season. The name suggests it's about comfort and love and that's exactly what I can imagine after wearing this perfum. It reminds me of a softer and more elevated Nouvelle Vague. Opens with a bright burst of citrus, almost a touch bitter, but quickly evolves into powdery, slightly sweet, skin scent. I get hints of the ginger and swear I smell a touch of coconut even though it's not in the notes. I wish I smelled more of the suede. Very fresh, clean, and comforting. White sheets drying outside in the sun.

I had a good wear of it, and here is my thought: creamy, vanillary, spicy, warm, and slightly floral throughout the wear. Quite linear scent profile. Three sprays on my back of neck and shoulders lasted for 10+ hours. It is a cozy scent, but does not remind me of my mother as the name of perfume intended to be.

On my skin, a musky dryer sheet, florals with shower gel sweetness. A smoother version of MFK 724. Longevity 7 hours. Overall 7/10

Smells just like a more floral Nivea cream. Very loud. I preferred this on skin as it calms down and the vanilla becomes more prominent. Stays linear on clothing. Definitely reminds me of my mom...as she used Nivea lotion. I was hoping for something more.

Just okay for me, nothing with a wow factor. It is a pretty and safe scent, would be a nice gift for someone for mothers day if you arent sure what they like, but nothing I would reach for every day.

Unfortunately this is nauseating to me - I think it's the combination of ginger, sweetness, and musk. It's also a bit lactonic to my nose. It does remind me a bit of baby powder and lotion, with a prominent spiciness from the ginger and black pepper. It's not for me, but I can see how it could be soothing for some.

The first spray is a blast of citrus notes which linger for a long time. Then comes the saffron, and the suede. No musk or florals.

I loved the top notes but the dry down is strictly floral. It’s a alright jasmine.do not buy it without letting it sit first.

It's a unique and very different scent. In the opening, I get a noticeable lychee note. It comes across as a fruity floral—fresh, slightly sweet, and easy to like. As it dries down, it becomes more floral. It almost feels like walking through a garden. Performance is good. On my skin, it lasts 10+ hours with solid projection, especially in the first 3 hours. Overall, it’s an interesting and unique scent, but not really my vibe. To me, it leans more feminine than unisex.

a fruity floral musk but the star is vanilla. this is almost identical to the discontinued kenzo's 5:40 in Madagascar but rounder and softer. we are used to assume that vanilla is a sweet ingredient, but here just like in kenzo it is fresh green and slightly sour from magnolia and litchi, an unusual but nevertheless very pleasant interpretation. the only issue for me would be its lasting power - about 2-2,5 hours. super weak for extract de parfum
