Bohème

I ordered a sample pack, and while this was not one of the samples I chose, this came free with my order. This is one that is definitely better if you let it sit a bit. Initially, I got a super strong olive smell in the opening. I mean, it straight-up smelled like olives. But,I didn't wash it off, I waited for the dry down, and oh my is this good. And the longer I've had the sample, the less I get the olive smell in the opening. This is a very cozy, sexy scent. On my skin, I get mostly the moist tobacco with vanilla, sandalwood, and musk. I really don't get the cinnamon or the leather at all. If those notes are turning you off, I would suggest getting a sample to see how the scent blooms with your skin chemistry. I am female and not really into unisex scents, but I would say this is perfectly unisex, and I love it. Sometimes, I layer it with Vanilla Musk if I want some extra sweetness, but it is good all on its own. I am definitely going to be purchasing a full bottle. This will be a great fall/winter date night scent. So glad they chose this one for my free sample!

Bohème is sweet, sexy, and absolutely one of my all-time favorites. But don’t mistake this for your typical sugary scent—this is grown-up, bohemian goddess sweet. The cinnamon is amazing—tantalizing and warm, weaving through rich toffee and creamy vanilla in the top notes like a slow, hypnotic dance. Then the base unfolds: smoky caramel, golden tobacco, and a dreamy swirl of sandalwood and leather that feels expensive and impossibly smooth. And that leather? Unreal. Not rawhide or saddlebag—this is Italian sports car leather, soft-as-sin driving glove leather. MDA truly does leather better than anyone, and Bohème is the crown jewel. The musk wraps it all in a velvety haze that’s intimate and magnetic, bordering on erotic. This fragrance is not just unisex—it’s regal. On me, it’s pure queen energy. My husband can’t stop leaning in when I wear it... and honestly? Neither can I. This is not your basic boho scent.. it’s truly queen! SO good!!

SKIN TEST: This is decadent. This is syrupy. This is sticky, dense and fruity tobacco. This is a pair of butter-soft brown leather driving gloves. This is full bottle worthy to me and it’s going right into my wishlist!!! Heads up — this is best worn anytime when the temp dips below 65 degrees; optimal on a rainy night with the candles light. This is what I wanted to Swiss Arabian’s 2025’s “Toffee” or even their “Tobacco 01” releases to be. I love that, while it’s sweet, it has spicy depth and earthy accords. I think this lives within the Killian’s “Angel Share” or Lataffa’s “Khamara” scent DNA but adds leathery and tobacco notes, driving this typically unisex-leaning-feminine fragrance squarely into the unisex lane. I think Boheme is very sexy and would make a great date night scent for anyone who loves a high-end smelling warm/spicy scents. I better-blended and more approachable version of Mischief Academy’s “Mad Hatter.”

Top is very vanilla and toffee, but not in a sugary or cloying way. Dries down quickly to musky tobacco, honey, and cinnamon spice. There is just a small hint of warm, worn in, leather to keep it grounded. Truly a fragrance for the boho queen. This is a fragrance for cool weather - to me, it evokes windy fall days and crisp spring evenings. It's not one of the woody cozy smells I want for winter, but not the citrus or sweet ones I reach for in summer either. It’s for the in between. For wandering book stores, lingering in coffee shops, and tormenting dive bars with your friends. This is one of my favorites from the samples I bought and will likely be a full bottle buy! On my skin, it is long lasting. It started noticeably fading after 6-8 hours, but I could still smell it on my skin for about 12 hours after applying.

I bought a discovery pack ages ago and decided to revisit some fall scents for a big size order. Boheme makes me so excited for fall and temps to come down so I can wear this at full power! I love the sweet but not too sweet tobacco scent that warms up beautifully with that cinnamon note. It rides the line as animalic on me but the warm spices and toffee/caramel brighten it up so it doesn’t fully get there. Boheme can be a very versatile scent that can easily go from day to night if you reapply. I’m on hour 4 of a light application and I feel like it’s very doable for an end of summer scent. Definitely on my full size list for the near future!

If you love Kilian’s Angels’ Share or L’Erbolario Dolcelisir, Boheme is a must-try. It manages to capture that intoxicating, boozy warmth without the harsh, rubbing-alcohol sting often found in similar boozy profiles. The opening is a delicious blend of cinnamon and toffee, evolving into a pipe tobacco that almost mimics a spiced apple note. It is rich, cozy, and the performance is stellar.

Usually I don't go for leather scents, even those where the leather is a middle note but this is perfection in a bottle. This is the feeling of sipping a dark cocktail in a moody, maximalists lounge at sunset until the moon comes up. I love it and was an instant buy for me.

This, no. So super super sweet, so dusty and cheap smelling, like something I would use to make soap. But mostly the super sweetness is just off-putting with the other notes. I couldn't stick it long enough to find out what velvet is supposed to smell like.

This is a beautiful boozy vanilla with a little smoky tobacco. This is a little sweeter than SDV with the addition of toffee and caramel, but also has a little smooth, supple leather in the dry down to set it apart.
