Amyris Femme Extrait de Parfum, MFK (Brought, Tester, 70ml. 65 ml. left, 110 USD) Review on October 22, 2024 I am enjoy Orange Blossom note lately and I retest them one by one. Then, I am understanding the charming point of Amyris femme. Francis Kurkdjian, apart from being Fougere Love and Manipulator. He loves Orange Blossom. If you trace back to his older creation. There is few iconic fragrance that highlight Orange Blossom as key highlight. He carried over this DNA, APOM (A Part of Me) also added the Orange Blossom. I retest Amyris Femme yesterday along with my recent acquired "Orangers en Fleurs by Houbigant" and I think Amyris femme key beauty is how he twist Orange Blossom note merge with Fruity accord, woody material and lite amber chemical aroma. Orange Blossom sparkling is merge with Pear note and Madarin. Sparkling and fizzy, and it stays linger on skin, I think he can really prolong the orange blossom in well good manner and it is not cliche, along with quality of material. I think this is really good contender for Orange Blossom lover. I think it hard to make the Orange Blossom dominant fragrance without being heavily covered by Fruity note. Well, I think this is slight miss-leading because this is actually not woody dominant (Amyris) and it goes in other direction comparison to Amyris Femme edp. Plus, even this is extrait version. This is barely last 3-4 hours on my skin. Well, I think this is how orange blossom perform on my skin. I do notice slight Saliva feel when everything settled down, but it is not really brother me. I highly recommend this as Orange Blossom fragrance, and I think this is more inner circle scent of Francis Kurkdjian's creation. I think I can say this is slight niche but easy to use as the same time. The scent lingers and substantial than usual MFK, I am bidding myself who can create Orange Blossom scent better, either Patricia de Nicolai or Francis Kurkdjian. ===== First Impression: "Elegant Femininity" in a bottle, Grace Kelly comes to mind when I first applied this fragrance. It unappealing for first few minutes then Jasmine, gradually build up. Nice, Clean non-Indolic, Cooling. And then follow with Woody note, I can only Assume this is Amyris. It sort of reminds me of Sandalwood. But not as dense, as woodsy, more piney, more softly balsamic. Reminds me of Soft Patchouli fragrance profile. If there is Iris, I believe this is Iris in Floral aspect, no Orris side. Not so long. White Fruity note show up, follow with Amber, Aroma Chemical One. The scent develops as the note suggest and it linear, Concoction way. But damn, this is so Classic. I remember sniff Amyris Femme EDP, MFK and recall Lipstick undertone but in Extrait version, I barely perceive any. This is floral dominant with mild Fruity Support, In a clean way. On the woody base that petty much reminds me of Soft-Patchouli fragrance. But it lightness, Airy aspect really keep me going. I personally think 70ml. is more than enough for this classy, female elegances. If I have to attend any friends' wedding, I would wear this one. You may describe as boring but I think this is truly well blend. Stable. A bit Adulthood (35+), but yeah you understand concept. Score 8/10

The opening almost smells grape-like, at least for a second or two. Then, I get the pear then orange. Underneath all of it is the perfect jasmine people keep raving about, with good reason. The dry-down doesn't have any amber or muskiness to it really, to me-- the florals, fruit and a beautiful iris tone are what lingers. There is a sandalwood note that consists only of the sweet aspects of the wood, to me, and has no traditional masculine feeling to it at all. At the very end of the dry-down there is a soft clean smell. It is really nice throughout its whole journey, in a way that reflects real skill. The overall sense of it is very feminine and friendly, and it seems amazingly well done. If I had to describe it, I would say it is an interpretation of a modern fruity-floral for a sophisticated person. Sometimes it seems fragrances aim to just be beautiful (to have people find them beautiful) but somehow they fall short to me (I know this is very subjective!)- I feel this way about Chloe, for example, or La Vie et Belle. Nothing wrong with those scents and they are nice enough but when I experience them they are more of a photograph of beauty or an interpretation of what it might be like than the actual take-your-breathe away real thing. My feeling about Amyris is it is the undisputable real thing. I just find it quite lovely and special. Edit: I realize I compared this scent to ones that are a fair amount cheaper, so it may be unfair to make that comparison when Amyris probably simply has better ingredients.

I agree 100% with the previous reviewer Vanian about Amyris Femme Extrait being a modern old-school perfume, and also about its similarity to J'adore (the original fragrance from the turn of the millennium, before they diluted it). The main 'culprit' is jasmine, which emerges as the strongest olfactive component of this perfume and actually overpowers both amyris and iris. Don't get me wrong, I'm perfectly fine with that, because I adore jasmine; however, if you happen to have an issue with strong jasmine and white flowers in general, then Amyris Femme Extrait is not your thing. (Btw amyris itself has a fresh-resinous smell, if it makes sense... like a combination of lemony vetiver or verbena and elemi, sort of.) The other listed notes (pear, mandarin blossom, amber etc.) are not so prominent, and they only serve to support and enhance the main composition. As expected from Maison Francis Kurkdjian, the scent is very elegant, classy and wearable; it smells expensive! It is not a powerhouse - I would say that its silage is moderate - but it lasts a long time and creates a beautiful aura around its wearer. Obviously, one could find much cheaper alternatives in the 'elegant jasmine' category on the fragrance market; however, if money is no object, then this is a great investment for a sophisticated, professional, powerful, intelligent woman. I could imagine someone like Dame Anna Wintour or Baroness Michelle Mone wearing this fragrance.

Among huge variety of perfumes it is not easy to find “the one” ❤️ See, choosing the scent, sometimes we are thinking not only about our own taste but also trying to be modern, cool, pleasant for the crowd, unique and fashionable. As for me, I always preferred classy, even vintage fragrances but it’s true, our time needs contemporary heroes, usually people do not appreciate old smells 😃 From other hand the modern perfume fashion is too loud, too challenging, too overwhelming.... “Amyris” found me ☀️ A moon and a sun, modern and vintage, crowd pleaser and self confidence, chic and casual, girl and Queen 👑 Unapologetically long- lasting perfume with great projection and very very delicate but noticeable sillage. Bright, clean and sunny opening but absolutely different in the middle and dry down phase. After 30 min it becomes powdery powdery, a bit sweet, fluffy and soft. In a moment it can remind you of a “Podree” NR, but of course like more quality and thinner version ... miracle 🦋🧚♀️ This perfume is highly recommended to those who want to keep their special vintage taste but still be in step with present, on one wave with fashion and trends! Keep calm and trust Mr. Francis Kurkdjian 😉 Good luck and be inspired 💋

Have you been bored with florals, and tried woody florals only to find them too masculine? This is a woody floral like I've never found before. It's gorgeous. I tried so many things to find something special that wasn't vanilla, fruity, or aldehydic, yet still feel unapologetically feminine yet modern. I tried Roja Elixir & 51. I tried Xerjoff Dama Bianca. I tried Jimmy Choo, Elie Saab, and so many more. I used to be of the mind that things smelled "feminine or masculine," and now realize that was just my associations with common notes used in each. I often wear fragrances marketed towards men if I find it unique and addictive. But on the days that I want to exude a classic interpretation of femininity and still be anything but boring. . . Amyris Extrait. If I had to compare it to anything for reference, it's like if Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely got an extreme make-over. No sharpness, just crisp floral without being green. No powder. And sweet without being able to identify the source. So, not vanilla, sugar, honey, caramel etc.

This is so pretty! I can understand the comments on being on the mature side or “done before.” That being said, as a 36 year old who’s been sampling a ton of white florals, I don’t feel this is overly mature and it’s easily one of the nicest white florals I’ve smelled. Certainly not worth the price but I like my version from CA perfumes. The pear is not very prominent. It’s just enough to add a touch of sweetness and keep it interesting but not enough to take away from it being a sophisticated primarily floral scent. And I love that the Amyris adds a creaminess that’s refreshingly different from the usual vanilla. The jasmine and mandarin blossom are blended well enough that neither one is obviously distinguishable. This is definitely very different from the original Amyris femme, which is very defined by the lemon blossom and Vetiver. I’m not going to try to deny that this is a tad basic. But goodness is it the very best version of what it is. The florals are balanced and the pear is just right. It feels so classy.

I recently reviewed the EDP version of this and claimed that it starts as pure string burst of citruses. In comparison, the Extrait starts off much softer. I get a lot of juicy sweet pear which I did not in EDP. I can definitely conclude that Extrait is overall more softer and creamier than EDP. And that’s what justify owning both for me. As it dries down more jasmin, iris and orange blossom come through and scent starts to lean more flowery than fruity, but pear is still somewhere in the background and detected. The scent reminds me of jasmine tea. As the time pass by, scent dries down and warms up with amyris-amber base. But don’t get me wrong this is still bright, luminous and quite sparkling perfume. Very well refined and blended to perfection. This is perfect elegant scent for day wear or office setting. It stands well under extreme heat. Performance is well, you get about 8 hours on skin and arm length projection. Love it!

An intense, chic and solid perfume. White flowers are in the foreground, balanced by something woody and a lot of juicy pear. This perfume makes me feel happy. Here in the Netherlands it is cold and gray outside. I long for spring. To the first flowers that come up and the birds that sing. This perfume gives me that feeling. The perfume strongly reminds me of two other fragrances; J'Adore from Dior and Gabrielle from Chanel. As if. As if it were a cousin of theirs who was brought up in a porcelain castle, so chic. But thinking about the two fragrances this one reminds me of also makes me realize that the price for this perfume is unjustifiable. As beautiful as it is.

So I finally compared this to the original Amyris Femme and have concluded that this is quite different With the addition of white florals this takes on more of a vintage vibe. This is also more feminine, soft and powdery. The original is louder with the citrus and woods and also has a sparkling quality which is what makes me prefer it. If you like scents like Chanel No5 and Mademoiselle then you will probably love this. If you still want that ultra feminine rich woman feel without the powderyness go for the original Amyris If the citrus/wood combo reminds you of cleaning products then go for this one. This perfume is fit for a sophisticated woman

Amyris Femme extrait is a beautiful woody white floral. I usually tend to steer away from woody notes because I sometimes find them too masculine on me but this is different. It opens a bit strong but settles into a delicate white floral. It's very feminine and the longevity is great. I was initially going to get the EDP but after smelling a decant, it personally seemed way to similar to Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle. And while i adore CM, i wanted something different but slightly similar or at least had some. I'm happy i got this perfume. I absolutely love this.

This is aromatherapy in a bottle. Such a happy, vibrant smell. I don't want to call it fresh, because in my case it would be an understatement, as fresh smells don't normally sit well on me with very few exceptions. This is a energetic, vibrant, burst-of-life smell. I wouldn't mind having a full bottle, and a body cream. Strong! It does get into my nose on the start quite a bit, so I would spray carefully. You want to move with this smell, be active. It's not a cozy perfume, more for the bright mornings and active days. What a delight!

I finally splurged on a bottle of this after ordering (and using up) samples. The original Amyris Femme has a harsh/ screechy lemon opening that I didn’t love. The Extrait is a well rounded, softer formulation with a beautiful, sweet, woody powdery drydown. This fragrance smells clean, sweet, familiar, and so feminine. It smells expensive, but warm- people want to lean in and hug me whenever I’m wearing it. It’s glorious in warm weather, and never cloying.

It' s an extremely bright and feminine parfume. Dusty Orange blossom (dusty becouse of the beautifule Iris) than later soft jasmine and very vearable voody notes and amyris. Projection is huge (even in a garden party in 32 degrees) and it lasts minimum 12 hours on my skin then days on clothes. I prefer in hot days but I bought it in end of august- I hope there will be hot days in this year. Huge Love and I'm very happy to have a Full Bottle!

I have a sample from MFK. I thought it was a little to old school and too much jasmine in the opening, but the dry down is softer. It has decent sillage and longevity for my skin where most other fragrances disappear. I prefer Amyris Femme which is fresh, light and mood lifting.

It's beautiful, incredibly elegant, somewhat old school. Huge blast of jasmine at first, but it's a clean jasmine, like you're smelling fresh ones. It's also got some greenness in it. This would be great in the late spring and summer.

Elegant and really long lasting scent (I use 2 sprays), very unique for sure. Compliments getter. I have also BR 540, but Amyris is not so sweet- they both are worth every penny :)

Such a lovely elegant parfume. Great for your wedding, romantic holiday, honeymoon, anniversary, romantic birthday dinner. I love this one so much.

A loud parfume. Beautiful opulent feminine with great performance. To me, nothing like tres chere Mizensir. I definitely enjoy AmyrisExtrait.

I had a sample of this and I honestly didn’t know what I felt about it. It’s a sweet, warm, luminous floral, in the same family of Dior’s J’Adore (though they don’t really smell alike, they radiate a similar aura), warm sweet pear and florals, it’s very feminine and very smooth, sophisticated and very very pretty. Much better than J’Adore, it’s more modern and youthful, better quality. It’s nice, it’s not generic, but I don’t love it. When I wore my sample, everyone around me told me how good I smelled. One guy even said this is the best perfume I’ve ever worn (that crushed my soul a little bit lol) and he asked me what it was. They think it suits me and that I should make it my scent (yes, they know I’m a perfume freak and they’re used to smelling all sorts of fragrances on me). That caught me off guard, because they’ve never said that about any other perfume I’ve worn around them and I have over 60 perfumes. They didn’t know that this was just a sample I was trying out, and that I don’t love it lol...I don’t know why I don’t care for it, I feel like it’s abit too sweet and abit too warm for a floral (I love a fresh, dewy floral, OR a sultry, vanillic one). It reminds me of a cold dessert I had at a South-East Asian restaurant, some sort of sweet jelly in coconut milk. Needless to say the sillage was room filling, but far from assaulting, even for a work environment, since people were coming up to me telling me I smelled good. It works in an air-conditioned environment, but I would never wear this outdoors on a warm sunny day.

A friend lent me her bottle to try for a week. Let me tell you about the rollercoaster journey this perfume and I have been on in the past three days! At first spray I was not a fan! It seemed very old fashioned - flowers, grandma handbag, and something a little fecal. After about an hour, however, it turned into the most beautiful, delicate, feminine fragrance! I absolutely adored it, and could not get enough of it for the next 24 hours! The longevity is a beast! The next day I sprayed myself liberally again, fighting against it for an hour to reach that effervescent, fresh floral perfection! It's not woody, it's not musky, just a delicate fragrance of white florals! Amazing! I sprayed myself liberally on the third day as well, and sadly I can barely smell it! So while it is a gorgeous scent, I cannot justify buying the full bottle since I have become anosmic to it in such a short time.

Although I need more time with this perfume, first impressions are important. It's an orange (clementine maybe?) blossom scent with a stemmy jasmine and an earthy iris. I don't know how the amyris itself smells, but it says fresh piney balsamic, I can't pick up the pine note but I can pick the notes with fresh-balsam qualities. Lovely! As the fragrance progresses, a light clementine note emerges, but it is never pungent. In fact, this perfume is quite soft and creamy. It falls mostly into the 'white flower' category, I can even say 'bridal friendly'. The extrait is beast in terms of longevity and sillage. Lovely and high quality jasmine 𓇢𓆸

Floral, fresh, and powdery-sweet. It opens with a scent like sweet oranges and jasmine; more pollen than juice. Iris is prominent here as well, cool, powdery, and refined. Meanwhile, the pear amps up the freshness and gives it a greenly-fruity dimension. Personally, I find Amyris' fresh, powdery florals a little shrill, but that’s more a matter of personal taste than anything. It’s a well formulated floral scent, with both dimension and unity. It’s playful but refined, equally good for a mature woman who feels playful and youthful, or a young woman with alacrity and poise.

I find the opening somewhat weird and stuffy, but only for a short period. Then comes the harmonious beautiful vintage scent. I cannot explain the notes very clearly for I don’t know exactly what amyris smells like. But jasmine is the most prominent scent to my nose at the beginning. Others are just smoothly blended together. The dry down is extremely gorgeous. This bottle gives me a vibe of bright vintage summer. It’s classic and also unique at the same time. Anyway I don’t think it’s really a crowd pleaser. I would buy a full bottle but not at its full price.

as expected from an extrait version, amyris femme extrait starts off denser and spicier than its edp counterpart before settling into a silky smooth blend of powdery floral sweetness, almost creamy in the drydown. only small gripe is have is that i don't think the pear was a necessary addition as it kind of sours this a bit in a way i don't really appreciate but i digress. strong like. this and the edp aren't redundant at all, quite distict from each other and can both have their place in a collection.

Very pretty, has a sharpness to it. The pear is my personal favorite part of this fragrance. I don't reach for it that much but when I'm in the mood, I really enjoy it!

MFK makes some pretty good soft, blended perfumes. This one opens with a diffusive accord best described as “floral,” as if every aromabotanical flower was bred together in an explosive pollen orgy. Some jasmine, ylang, tuberose, iris, neroli even? All with a side of soft woods, creamsicle orange, and pear. It’s got similar ingredients to J’adore, but doesn’t grate the senses so, instead wearing like a vintage aldehyde scent. It also reminds me of Coco Mademoiselle (the parfum) but not so rich or natural. The drydown reveals a slightly more distinct jasmine, though the floral accord is still vague and green, synthetic like orange blossom soap. Not super high quality ingredients, but this is an easy reach if there ever was one, and it lasts all day despite being so ethereal. I would add this to my wishlist for its effortless sophistication, but as there are many more interesting choices at lower price points, I don’t see it making it into my collection any time soon.

This is a heavy floral-fruity fragrance, which is very juicy and natural smelling. It does smell expensive. I don’t love it, I like it, but I would not wear it often. It primarily, to me, smells of a fusion of heavy, narcotic jasmine and pear (like the very prominent pear note in the now extinct L.A.M.B. fragrance by Gwen Stefani). I believe it has actually got real jasmine essential oils in it, not just aromachemicals. It goes without saying that this fragrance is beautifully composed by Francis Kurkdjian, a truly magnificent perfumer, but it’s just not for me. I realise that I don’t like fruity perfumes at all apart from green apple or citruses. If you like white flower or narcotic fragrances, definitely try it: it is also definitely one for pear fragrance lovers to try out.

On first spray, this is a bit overpowering. I think I audibly coughed when I first smelled it. I’m going to give it more time to settle on my skin but that first spray is just a little jarring. Now that is drying a little, I can give a better description. Like AVF, this is a very unique scent, however it is in no way masculine or unisex. There’s something at the bottom of this that smells really good — but I cannot pinpoint what it is. The Amyris is extremely strong, and in the forefront of the composition. I think I need more time with this to see how I feel about it, but I’m rating it okay for now. I got a whole lot of spring scent samples without realizing! Regardless, this does smell quite nice. Just not certain if it’s for me yet.

OMG. I sampled this and I hate to say it but at first it smelled like a bathroom spray used to cover a --- you know what --at my grandma's house....but didnt do a very thorough job. It is also very reminiscent of other MFK fragrances. As it dried down the jasmine came forward but still felt very old lady like. My daughter liked the way it smelled on me and that's saying something because she usually turns her nose up at my samples. The longevity is really good. Put it on at 9;30 this morning...its 6:30 and I can still faintly smell it. I will not be purchasing a full bottle particularly at the MFK price...but give it a try for yourself.

As a lover of the original Amyris EDP, there is something jarring about the opening of this. Smells a bit like Amyris EDP with addition of cat pee and wet rag mustiness. The indole is super strong on this one. It gets better as it settles, promising exactly what is expected - an intensified version with more of a white flower lean. But not a fan as the original is already a fave.

I bought this and got rid of it after my eau de parfum was low. Thinking it was superior to the OG, I was wrong. This is loud screechy and the added pear and jasmine were just obnoxious on me. I will happily repurchase the parfum and stop the search for perfection because it lays in that dna.

Smells just the EDP but this one is sweeter maybe due to the pear note and I'm picking up an unlisted oud note. This one is stronger than the EDP too.

While it opens with a very bright, floral, and balanced scent, this effect disappears within half an hour, and it turns into a bitter, sour, and throat-irritating mandarin cologne. The floral notes fade, leaving only an irritating feeling in the throat. I would say it's priced based solely on its opening. Also, while the sillage seems very high at the beginning, I found myself reapplying the perfume five times during the day, and even then, the scent only lingered on my wrist, and as I said, it was a bitter mandarin scent. It's definitely not worth this price.

I don't usually perceive scents as gendered, but no joke, this smells exactly like an elderly Christian woman on her way to church for Easter Sunday, and not in a good way. It's floral, cloying, and absolutely *overwhelming*. I tested the sample I got on a strip of paper and I could smell it across the room for about a WEEK after. Damn, this stuff is *terrible* in my opinion! And what a contrast between this and MFKP's Baccarat Rouge 540, which I'm absolutely in love with! DEFINITELY try a sample first to see if you'll like it, in part because MFKP's perfumes are *so* expensive and you don't wanna waste hundreds of dollars on something you might hate or something that might make others around you puke.

Main Accords: White floral, Woody, Citrus, Iris, Aromatic, Powdery, Amber Notes: Mardarin Blossom, Egyptian Jasmine, Amyris, Tuscan Iris, Woody Notes, Pear, Amber My first wear on skin experience... Okay...this scent is such a great representation of my environment. I live across from the beach... seconds from Malibu...seconds from Valley Hills. My area is full of greenary, clear skies, fresh florals, palm trees, outdoor shopping, ocean breeze, mountain views. Most people here drive expensive foreigns, Mercedes, & Lexus. The style of dress is very much chill, relaxing...though many are not shy of price tags. That is Amyris Femme Extrait It is one of the most snobby, down to Earth, casual meets elegance fragrances I may now own... The opening gives a gorgeous scent of airiness, like that of a fresh Spring breeze. It then goes into a bright development as the citrus hits your nose in the most subtle, in your face, & well blended way. It is sooo smooth & captivating. Definitely leaves you craving more because as the citrus continues, the pear joins & adds this delicious sweet note with a light play on Spring greens. This may be where the hint of Jasmine starts but they are more stem cuts than floral here. Sooo goood. Mind you, they did NOT hold back on the pear. It is in the forefront & letting you know it is here to stay. Now that you are wide awake & fresh to go about your day, you get this woody note that softens the sweetness of the pear & welcomes the iris. The iris is dancing with the pear in the most playful & light-hearted way. Similar to the essence of the scene where the two kids find the garden in "The Secret Garden." The iris adds this extremely subtle powderiness/softness to the pear. As if they are dancing but their feet never touch the ground. It isn't the sharpest iris by far, but well played, prominent, & beautifully tamed against the sweetness of the pear. I never knew I would love & now crave iris & pear as I do now. 🥴😍 As you enter dry down you get a beautiful & gentle woody note that is warmed up by the amber. It isn't a sweet wood but it does level the sweetness of the pear & adds some warmth. You also get the white florals/Egyptian Jasmine. Here it is blooming & sooo well blended as it makes its floral entrance. It had to be one of the smoothest Jasmine note fragrances I've tested. It is definitely a white floral but it is soooooooo not your typical white floral to me. FYI, I am NOT a HUGE fan of white florals, Lol, at all... but this is sooooo gooooooood. It is this aspect of the scent that gives me this snobby & luxurious vibe. It remains fresh, bright, glamorous, & full of everything that represents living between the Hills & the coast on a Spring/Summer day. This is me, with my pano sunroof open, putting it on Sport to cut through the Canyons. I'm wearing jean cutoff shorts, a white partially tucked top, a gorgeous multi tone watch, dripping in dainty gold rings, 3 layers of thin gold chains, thin gold hoops, a perfect pony, & Prada shades. We are on our way to hit random shops in Westlake Village, having fresh Ahi Tuna at NoBu, & driving down PCH just because it is Wednesday. This smells like money, Lol. Not just any money. The type of money that is casually dressed for a day out in Southern California but will whip out that steal Black Card to pay for everything. This is youthful, feminine, poised, & loud. It is the perfect example of an expensive blend that you don't need to wait for an "occasion" or "special event" to wear. I can't stop smelling it. The pear, the iris, the woody notes, the jasmine, the citrus, the amber I mean... this is absolutely stunning. #Enjoy

This version of Amyris Femme opens with a bold, radiant burst of tangerine blossom that immediately demands attention. It’s not the sharp, dizzying rush of neroli that often overwhelms—no, this is a tangerine blossom that feels alive, tangy, and vibrant, like the freshness of citrus warmed by the sun. For some, this might be the perfect weight, but for me, it leans just a bit too heavy, a little too enveloping. As it settles, the scent transforms into a warm, woody sweetness that’s cozy without being too sweet. There’s a powdery edge to it, the kind that feels like soft cashmere against the skin, but there’s also a faint fruity undertone, like the aftertaste of something citrusy left behind after the last sip. While its warmth and progression may not be for everyone, there’s no denying the richness and the craft in the way this fragrance evolves. The kind of scent that wraps assuredly around you, soft yet enduring, sweet but not overly so—a deeper, more confident, less immediate version of its more sparkling EDP counterpart.

Divine, ultra chic, elegant and very feminine. Love from first sniff. This is a modern old school fragrance, if I can say so. It also gave me some Dior's J'adore feeling at first application, but only feeling, I do not make any comparison between the two. Smells very expensive, I wouldn't say addictive, but I love it a lot. The overall scent is a mixture of all the ingredients and I truly (at this stage) can't separate them from each other. This is the second fragrance from this house I feel I am falling deeply in love. A must have for all whose appearance show pure elegance. And a must have for me from now on. p.s. Upon second application, I am beginning to understand how the fragrance works on my skin, The main description of the notes above: woody, white floral, powdery, floral, balsamic, is correct. On my skin though all happens so quickly within a few minutes, so initially I really was not able to catch what's going on exactly, then there is that moment when, well I think it is the jasmine, or the jasmine+the mandarin flower are trying to jump all over the other ingredients, to outfight them, kind of to 'push them away' from the scene, and that's the moment when I thought about J'adore. This fragrance reminds me of a 'Formula 1 race', I have never thought about flowers and fragrance ingredients in a competition, but this is what I sense here, until the moment when everything settles down. A harmony!

Being a frag enthusiast, I have a big collection of perfumes and quite many samples. I recently moved from U.S. to EU and of course had to carefully pack my collection. All perfumes survived the move, however a little tester vial leaked in a bag where I had more than 20 testers..maybe more. It smelt fantastic. I started smelling all tester vials one by one to find which one it was, and it felt like it was none of them. When I realized it must have been the Amyris femme tester I had overlooked, as I didn't like it the first time I tried, I was so happy. I was happy because I finally found my favourite perfume from MFK, a brand which I always appreciated but having smelt all of their offerings, nothing really clicked with me. . It is a powerful (like all perfumes from the house) fizzy, radiant scent that I prefer to wear in daylight. I do not think I would wear this in an office, but maybr the edp version is the way to go. But AF almost feels like emitting a burst of citrusy light, it is warm yet fresh, I guess from the combo of woods and citruces.. Test on skin more than once to judge this gem. The only other perfume that gives me this feeling without being similar is an old bottle ('00s, well-preserved) of Pleasures, by Estée Lauder, which I love cause it reminds me of my mother.

Heady, heady jasmine, I don't think I've smelled such good quality jasmine in a while. That note alone makes it a little vintage, but in the best way possible. The mandarin blossom gives it a zesty sparkling but more fizzy candy feel, and the two combined to conjure up an image of an older lady, with her expensive white floral perfume and her boiled sweet with fizzy centre in her pockets. The iris giving it a touch of that powder room feel. Having said all that given the quality of these notes I am really enjoying this. I will happily be that lady someday, smelling like this. Gorgeous.

It’s okay but I find it a very generic/boring floral. Nothing to shout from rooftops about. Nothing about it that makes it stand out distinctively against other pretty and soft floral fragrances. I felt very disappointed by this as I have been really impressed by other offerings from MFK, so I had high expectations, but this doesn’t really match their other work like Grand Soir or BR540. Not worth the money at all. Gave my sample to my Grandmother, she loves it and it actually smells great when she walks by me with it on. It’s very gentle and subtle.

As someone who dislikes Jasmine, I must say this is beautiful. Not knowing the notes, I thought this was a wet jasmine bush, complete with snapped green stems. I now know the bright green snapped stem vibe I got is coming from the citrus aspect in the mandarin blossom and the pear is giving it the 'wetness'. Couldn't pick those up smelling it. I would actually wear this if it was gifted. It's quite uplifting and serene. I love how strong it is, I feel like I entangled myself violently into a jasmine bush and i'm kind of ok with that.

This is my signature fragrance. I like BR540 but I think everyone's already wearing it. This one though is elegance in a bottle. Perfect for office setting, or if you are all dressed up! It lasts all day too. My friends says I smell awesome even from a distance so I tell you, this is a powerful frag as well. Make sure to get the extrait version. The edp is good but the xdp is waaaaaayyyyy better!

Can't wait to try this along with the eau de parfum since it resembles Jadore. Someone explicitly called out the original Jadore before it was watered down. So sad how many classic sensational scents are no longer concentrated like they were in the 90's and early 2000's yet the price tag is still the same. I'd even raise my hand to pay more for the quality you used to get.

This perfume is epitome of class, the freshness and lightness from the white flowers keeps this perfume feminine. The fact that this is an extract mean the performance is sooo on point. This fragrance reminds of Jasmie Des Anges by Dior Privé however it last soo much more and silliage is perfect!

Absolutely beautiful scent. Even as a man, I had to buy this. I'm bold enough to wear feminine leaning scents and appreciate the scent enough. 10/10 would force my future wife to wear this.

Beautiful, strong burst of Jasmine in the opening. This last FOREVER on skin and clothes. Please do not spray more than 2 sprays. It can be cloying and headache inducing. It lasts FOREVER.

Many people claim this perfume leans feminine, but to me it feels quite unisex. It’s truly a beautiful scent.

Leans vintage. Love it, hoping I am one day worthy enough to wear something like this every day lol.
