So I have the original APOM sprayed on one arm and the Elixir on the other. The jasmine note in the Elixir makes it more penetrating, a bit sharper than the original. The soft, creamy texture of the ylang-ylang is not so prominent here. The orange blossom, as in the original, is a subdued, subtle one, not the happy, sparkling orange blossom of Elie Saab. This is a white floral which smells a bit less warm and soothing than the original, but it is definitely not one of those heady jasmine scents. Well balanced, lively and interesting. This fragrance has more emphasis on the base notes, which give it some earthy, dense quality, unlike the original which is more ethereal. It is sweet, but not cloying. I think it is different enough from the original to justify having both. Not better, just different. This fragrance is super-concentrated, and comes in 4 small roll-on tubes which makes it perfect for carrying around, and I guess also makes it last longer. Indeed, it's not a pretty bottle, but a very practical packaging, which I like.

Это чистый аромат, немного из прошлого, но отнюдь не ретро. Это непростой аромат, у него есть характер. Я бы отнесла его четко в категорию «домашний». Это очень напоминает красивую ухоженную маму, красивую жену. Это солнце дома, светло и тепло на сердце. Он пахнет долго, но проекции почти нет. Он для себя, для мужа, для детей, которые прильнут к вам и обнимут.
